you to improve your communication skills.

First of all, listen and respond thoughtfully to others. You should spend

more time listening to others instead of boasting yourself. Some of us are very

egocentric, which means self-focused. If you spend too much time talking about

your own stuff, the people around you may think you are a tedious and annoying

person. So, the best way to do is to consider our friends’ thoughts and

feelings. Try to be a good listener, when you express yourself, thinks about it

carefully before you really say it.

Second, appropriately adapt messages to others. It is not enough to be

sensitive and accurately understand others; when your send out your message, you

pick up the best ways and respond to others to achieve your communication goals.

But it does not mean to say something that the listener wants to hear. That

would be unethical. Appropriately adapt messages to others means carefully

editing and shaping your responses so that your messages can be understood by

others and you can achieve your goals.

Last but not least, try to interpret nonverbal messages. As we all know,

unspoken messages can express powerful ideas or emotions with greater impact

than mere words. You should try to observe others facial expressions or

movements and give correct responds to others. You can see the emotions or

attitude from one’s gesture stops. Be sensitive and appropriate interpreting

others.

暑假里的一天，妹妹举着平板电脑乐颠颠地跑来找我：“姐姐，快看看我找到了什么！你做一个‘流沙本’给我好么？”我接过平板一看：“嗨！不就是个本子嘛！”这个本子的特别之处就在于封面：封面上有个沙漏形状的镂空，镂空处透出了装着金粉和液体的混合物的密封袋和密封袋背面的彩色纸背景。这样，本子竖立时，从封面的镂空沙漏图案里可以看到金粉在液体中缓缓降下，犹如从沙漏顶端徐徐飘落，在彩色背景的衬托下确实挺唯美的。

接下来，我按照制作视频备齐了金粉、透明密封袋、色素、胶水、彩笔、双面胶、本子，准备10分钟后给妹妹一个惊喜。

镂空硬纸还算顺利。可是，制作流沙密封袋的第一步就出了差错：我把白胶当成了透明胶水，尽管加水稀释，却也无法透出金粉的光亮。唉，白白浪费了一批材料，只好重来。第二次，金粉、胶水和清水终于混合成功了，但色素却不见了踪影，终于找到后，匆忙之间，色素被我洒在了地上；第三次，由于拿错了彩笔，密封袋底面的背景颜色涂错了，深蓝色涂成了浅紫色……前前后后，已经过去了一个半小时，我的流沙封面还没有完工，我沮丧地想：教程视频明明只要两分钟，我做起来怎么这么难啊！

当最终的作品完成后，妹妹用崇拜的眼神看着我，说：“真漂亮！姐姐，你好厉害呀！”我看着垃圾筐里的十几个失败的样品“嘿嘿”一笑，心想，这个“厉害”可来得真不容易：每一个步骤看似简单，但如果没有用心，一出纰漏就有可能让前面的付出功亏一篑。以后，我可真不能再轻视那些看似简单的事了。

看着流沙封面的金沙徐徐飘落，仿佛能感受到时间慢慢堆积。我不禁想，我们的成长也如这金沙一般，一点一滴，不断积累。愿我能像做流沙封面那样，细处用心，将一点点闪亮越积越厚。

To tell you the truth, I dont like the Spring Festival at all. When I was young I liked it very much,because I could had something tasty to eat during the Spring Festival,and I could enjoy very wonderful TV programmes,too. My Spring Festival is special. My uncle and my aunt came back from Shanghai. My family were very happy to keep the Spring Festival with them. And it was the most exciting festival of all the festivals.

On New Years Eve, my father and my uncle talked about their work together. My mum did some cooking with my aunt Grandparents and I watched the New Year TV programmes. At about six oclock, we had a special family dinner. We all thought the dumplings were delicious.

清晨，我走进美丽的校园，看到学校是那样的宁静。

有时，大雾笼罩着整个学校。我走进学校大门，除了一幢幢教学大楼和一排排高大整齐的树木隐约可见以外，其他的东西便什么都看不见了。校园里散发出一阵阵芳香，使人感到兴奋，心情顿时一阵振奋，舒畅极了。

bedroom.Since she is the youngest in our room,we all feel responsible to take

care of her.We hope that this party can relieve her homesickness.

We bought some fruit and candy,nineteen small candles,and a cake.At seven

in the evening,the party began.We lit the candles and sang "A happy birthday to

you" to Li Ying.And then we each gave her a small present.Li Ying looked excited

and happy.She blew out the candles,and we tasted the fruit and candy while

talking about various funny things we experienced in our childhood at home.At

the end of the party we encouraged each other to study even harder and be top

今天，我做了一个决定，有的时候我会不自信。所以我要每天早上起床后对着镜子说一遍加油。因为我认为那样会使我变得自信。那样，我就可以大胆的去做一些我想要做却会紧张的事。现在，我要说一句：加油!

同学们，一年一度的春节即将来临。在这辞旧迎新之际，家家户户都会贴春联、燃放烟花爆竹，以表示吉祥喜庆。但是，随着现在地球逐渐变暖，人们也开始意识到应该减少各种污染，开始提倡禁放鞭炮。

咱们中国过年放鞭炮有着悠久的历史：相传，古时候有个凶恶的怪兽叫“年”，每到岁末便出来害人，后来，人们知道“年”最怕红色和声响，于是年三十晚上，家家户户贴红春联，燃放爆竹，来驱除“年”兽，以求新的一年安宁，保护全家的幸福安康。这种习俗一直流传至今，在每年春节都会燃放烟花爆竹。

虽然放鞭炮有辞旧迎新之意，但是不断燃放大量烟花会造成严重的环境污染。究竟春节放鞭炮是利大于弊、还是弊大于利呢?人们对此众说纷纭，褒贬不一。我认为是弊大于利的，因为放鞭炮不但会污染我们赖以生存的美好家园，还会浪费大量的人力物力，燃放不当甚至会造成一定的伤亡事件。而燃放鞭炮带来的只能是天空中的阵阵轰鸣，然而说放鞭炮能赶走“年”兽，我认为这种说法多少有一点迷信色彩。总之，过年放鞭炮我认为是弊大于利的，但也不是说要禁放，只是说应该少放一些，热闹一下就行了。

同学们，相信你们对这个问题也都有自己的见解，不过，我们大家的目的都是一点，都想用自己的方法来保护地球。所以，让我们共同携手，保护我们的美好家园!
