The kites fly very high. In summer, the trees are green and the grass is green, too. It is green everywhere on the hills. There are so many wild apple trees on the hills. The wild applesare nice to eat. In autumn, the corns under and around the hills are ripe. So we eat them almost every day. In winter, when it snows, all the ground is covered with snow. 以不切题为宗旨的胡扯是其神韵，样样属实反而失之于教条乏味。春风得意的说客里，有退休不甘寂寞的老教师，地摊上翻来的野史说的有鼻子有眼。听的人多。有见闻广博的老司机，走南闯北，一肚子故事写出来就是一部阅微草堂笔记。有嗓音圆润的歌唱家，衣服没穿好忙不迭的献艺，一曲小白杨听的众人摇身赞妙。

阿城有个比方，人文就像盐，是看得见、摸得着;又像盐，融于人类生活，不知道的，以为没有什么人文，以为没有人文，人类也可以生活。我觉得这些澡堂说客，是一把盐，因为这把盐，澡堂不再平淡，有了咸味。

如果你随便找一个中学生作文 ，问他什么是对数，什么是洛仑兹定律，什么是原子核式结构，他一定可以把这些东西给你讲得头头是道，让你惊叹当今青少年个个都是科学家的料。但是，你找个尖子生，问他在野外被蛇咬了怎么办，他也许会搔搔脑袋瓜，苦想各类化学反应式，然后淡茫地对你说声不知道。那么，青菜多少钱一斤？不知道！被子怎么叠不知道！为什么啥都不知道？也不知道！

这就是中国教育的一个现状：对科学知识抓得狠，也把各类奥赛搞得红红火火，但却似乎对常识的教育力度不够。学校的课程包罗万象，可以独缺常识。学生们便因此被搁在高高在上的象牙之塔，只搞着高端学问。当今中国要强国，靠的是飞机、大炮、火箭这些高科技，似乎就应该给学生喂饱科技知识。常识那些小事儿，何足挂齿，成大事者不拘小节嘛。每当看到这些言论，我真想拍案而起，高呼一句：此言谬矣，别拿常识不当干粮！

常识是一门指导我们生活得更好的艺术。衣、食、住、行等日常行为，无一不需要常识的引导。我们现在洗衣煮饭等家务活可以由父母包办，各种事宜可以由父母操劳，俨然一个个不问政事的小皇帝。但父母不能照料我们一辈子，长大后还是要靠自理。倘若不懂常识，将来岂不是要处处碰壁？难道还事事都找个电话问父母？而连自己都照料不好，生活一塌糊涂，又怎有心思搞学问？

常识也是科技的基础。科学并不是空中楼阁，而是广生于人们对身边事物的实践与探索。牛顿从苹果落地的常识中总结出万有引力定律；鲁班从叶子会割伤手的常识中发明出锯子。离开常识而空谈高科技，就像盖楼房不起地基，是靠不住的。
