Gritting my teeth I followed on and crested the hill, Then the usual Essex switchback with an enforced short walk for both of us part way along saw us at Tawny common. Round the common we went, to the Mole Trap, an erstwhile rough old country pub now tarted up for the motorists. I don’t go in there any more, so we sat on the adjacent public seat for a while and a short natter.

Time enough to break away, Tom to his lunch appointment, me for home by way of theYellow Crane Tower and Changjiang Bridge. See you in a while, crocodile! I arrived home about 2 o’clock. Just in time for my own Sunday lunch .

新年过完，寒假马上就要结束了，你们有新打算吗?我就有，下面是我下个学期的新打算，希望我能比上学期做的更好。

首先，我上课要认真听课，积极举手发言。不能开小差，东张西望，特别要注意“理解”。发言时不要紧张、害羞，声音要放大。

其次，写作业的时候，不能马虎，要细心，要认真读题，不要漏题。学习上有不懂得的地方，要积极请教老师和问同学，要做一个勤学好问的好学生。

第三，“书山有路勤为仅，学海无涯苦作舟”，我要多读课文外书籍。“读书百变，其义自见”一本好书，我必须多读几遍，才能不断丰富自己的知识，要用知识充实自己，我相信只要有付出，就会有收获。

第四，作为班长的我，应该对班级负责任：

1、看到垃圾主动去捡。

2、要带领同学认真学习。

3、要管好班级，同时也要管好自己的一举一动。

4、看见同学打架，要及时阻止。

5、看见同学下课玩危险游戏时，应及时阻止。

最后，我要多练习写作，认真听取老师意见。总而言之，在新的学期里我要更加努力。
