By the way, Im a great guitarist so I can keep you all amused round the campfire at night.

我的家乡在海南文昌，是一个华侨之乡。家乡的传统节日当中要数春节最热闹了。

我们家乡过春节也叫过年。一年一度的春节非常热闹。腊月二十四起人们就开始送灶神，忙着买年货了，还要做文昌有名的米糖。大年三十的早上大人们一吃过早餐就开始忙着杀鸡、杀鸭了。要多杀几只，因为初一是不动刀的。我们小孩就在院子里玩耍、打鞭炮可有趣了。饭做好后，大人就叫我们回来准备吃饭。当我正想拿鸡腿吃时，爸爸阻止了我，说：“祖先还没吃呢”。原来老家过年是先要做好的鸡、鱼放在八仙桌上，再点上香。意思是让祖宗先吃。家中的男丁就按长幼的顺序依次拜，表示对祖宗的尊敬和怀念。做好这些我们就可以吃饭了。吃过饭就贴对联。

晚上灯火通明，我们小孩子就在院里放鞭炮。什么糖果炮、火柴炮、烟花等。我们玩啊笑啊可开心了，根本不想回家睡觉。大人们就在家里看春节联欢晚会，也有的去打麻将。等到十二点钟家家户户都打鞭炮，鞭炮声不绝于耳，热闹极了。烟雾满屋都是。我也是到这时才肯睡觉。

大年初一早晨，男女老幼都穿上漂亮的新衣去拜年。我们小孩最高兴因为有压岁钱。大人准备好压岁钱，一早就给我们。早晨的早餐就冲咖啡、牛奶喝，吃米糖。吃好后大人就东家逛逛，西家逛逛。由于初一不动刀，中午我们都吃三十剩的菜。

到初二，村民们早早杀好鸡，把八仙桌摆在门口，再把煮熟的鸡摆在桌子上。就把庙里的“神”抬出来游村。吹喇叭的、敲锣的、打鼓的，还有全村的男女老少都跟在后面。小孩子更是高兴，屁颠屁颠的跟在后面，乐此不疲。当“神”到村口就放鞭炮，送走时也放鞭炮。游完一村到另一村，一直到十五才又抬回庙里。

家乡的春节真是热闹又有趣啊!

记得，那是刚开学的时侯，英语课上老师提问大家学过的单词。轮到李宬的时候，他吞吞吐吐的，连一个单词也没有说出来。英语王老师看了看全班同学，信任目光最后落在了袁雅宁的身上，把帮助李宬同学背单词的任务交给了她。老师强调了要求，每天帮助李宬背会5个英语单词。袁雅宁毫不犹豫地接受了任务，利用中午休息的时间带着李宬同学，开始背单词。

我爱日照，更爱日照的“蓝天，碧海，金沙滩”。

黑黑的耳朵，白白的脸蛋;黑黑的眼圈，白白的肚皮;还有一条短短的尾巴;它的身高4cm，体重100g;真是可爱到“膨胀”!———这就是我的心爱之物：熊猫挂件!

去年，我和妈妈去了成都的大熊猫繁育基地，参观完“太阳产房”和“月亮产房”之后就来到了一个关于熊猫商品的小店。里面全都是熊猫模样的玩具——枕头、挂件到笔记本和尺子，真是琳琅满目让人眼花缭乱!突然我眼前一亮，看到一个熊猫挂件，但妈妈却说哪都有。我根本没听她说完，就以百米冲刺的速度到了柜台，付了我那几个月辛辛苦苦攒的零花钱。

有一次，在家里悠闲地骑着平衡车，不小心摔倒了，疼得我“噢噢”的叫，你说巧不巧，它一下飞进了垃圾桶里。我不管自己的疼痛，直接开始翻垃圾桶，才翻出它!熊猫挂件好像生气了，像是在说：“你怎么把我弄进垃圾桶里?快点给本大爷洗澡!”我捧着它跑到了水池里，洗了很长时间才洗干净，算它比较顽强，不然早就“粉身碎骨”了。从此我把它照顾地好好的，再也没有受过伤了!

每次看到它我都会想到和妈妈一起去成都的美好情景。这就是我的心爱之物——熊猫挂件!

书桌前有一块石头，它是我父亲去南京出差时带回来的正宗的雨花石。

它的形状很一般，上面平平的，没有一点岁月的痕迹。令人惊异的是，它的四周圆得让人难以置信，并十分光滑，如同人工打磨过一般。

抹去尘埃，便会发现，这块雨花石上竟缭绕着一片片的绿，不是那种饱经风霜的绿，也不是那种翠得发亮的绿，而是那种淡淡的绿，带一点青，如同炊烟，袅袅旋转。在淡淡的绿中，抹着一丝血纹，就像一滴血，渗进了水中，飘逸地散开，又聚拢成一条。

它的背面满是雾气。那雾气，蔓延于每个角落。透过雾的轻纱，若隐若现地看到一层乌乌的灰。

这块雨花石在案头伴随了我多年。一次，我一不小心把它摔在了地上，摔得很重，顿时迸飞了一块角。

从此，它变了模样，再也不圆了，像天上的圆月，突然间被咬去了一小块。

我轻轻地抚摸着它的伤痕，那淡淡的绿，映着几丝血纹，连着乳白色的薄雾，衬着点点灰，簇拥着一团棕褐，这一切反而更增添了几分魅力。

一块圆中有缺的雨花石，仍能放射出如此的光彩，使我悟出了一些人生哲理：谁能在一生中不被绊倒过?但跌倒后爬起来再度奋进，才更能显示出我们的人生价值。

Last week, my parents told me the good news that my family would go camping

with my uncle’s family. I felt so excited about it, because I could spend the

whole night outside, which never happened before. When the day came, we brought

the equipment and bought some food. In the afternoon, the two families settled

down, then we started to walked around. My cousins and I rushed to the forest

and went to the highest point, where we can appreciate the whole sight. Standing

on the highest place, I felt so great. The world was in front of my eyes and I

thought of the old poets’ description. At night, we set the the fire and talked

happily. The parents were talking about the family chores and the kids were

playing games. It was such a happy moment for me.

I have a lot of troubles, such as going to school, homework, and parents’

ramble. They like the stars in the sky. I am afraid of the darkness. This is my

biggest trouble. At night, I am fear of going out alone. And when my parents

sleep, I even can’t go to the toilet. Therefore, I never drink water before

sleep. And I always turn on the light when I am sleeping. I know it’s not good

but I can’t sleep in the darkness.

Here is a difference between science and technology.Science is a method of

answering theoretical questions; technology is a method of solving practical

problems. Science has to do with discovering the facts and relationships between

observable phenomena in nature and with establishing theories that serve to

organize these facts and relationships; technology has to do with

tools,techniques, and procedures for implementing the findings of science.

Another distinction between science and technology has to do with the

progress in each. Progress in science excludes the human factor. Scientists, who

seek to comprehend the universe and know the truth with the highest degree of

accuracy and certainty, cannot pay heed to their own or other peoples likes or

dislikes, or to popular ideas about the fitness of things. What scientists

discover may shock or anger people--as did Darwins theory of evolution. But

even an unpleasant truth is more than likely to be useful; besides, we have the

option of refusing to believe it! But hardly so with technology;we do not have

the option of refusing to hear the sonic boom produced by a supersonic

aircraft-flying overhead; we do not have the option of refusing to breathe

polluted air. Unlike science, progress in technology must be our slave and not

the reverse. The legitimate purpose of technology is to serve peopie--people in

general, not merely some people; and future generations, not merely those who

presently wish to gain advantage for themselves.

We are all familiar with the abuses of technology. Many people blame

technology itself for widespread pollution, resource depletion and even social

decay in general--so much so that the promise of technology is obscured. That

promise is a cleaner and healthier world. If wise applications of science and

technology do not lead to a better world, what else will?

I have a busy weekend,On Satursday,I cleaned my room. 这个香袋十分漂亮，做工精致，一侧绣着一条栩栩如生的龙，回首遥望，好像在呼唤自己的伙伴。另一侧绣着一条美丽的凤凰，长着华丽的羽毛。后面还有一朵牡丹。前面绣着“平安”两字。香袋的颜色是鲜明的红色。每当看到它，我的脑袋里就会浮现出一件事情。

那一次，我因为一起打架事件而被老师罚站，同学们都向我投去厌恶的目光，平时几个关系好的“朋友”，也说我很坏的，以后要离我远点，那些本来跟我关系不好的人，高兴得像中了奖一样。

可他们都不知道，我并没有打架，是别人先打了我，我没有还手，他自己摔倒的。就在我感到痛心的时候，跟我关系最好的朋友突然站起来说：“老师，我觉得他不会做这种事，他不会去欺负人，一定是别人先打了他。”老师惊讶地说：“你为什么觉得他不会做这种事?”他响亮地回答：“因为我信任他!”

今天是国庆节，街道上张灯结彩，热闹非凡，人山人海。在国庆假期里，我去了广州“星期八小镇”玩，获益良多。

到了出发当天，我早早地来到了财政局门口，很多同学都已经在等候了。于是，我们上了车，就出发了。在车上，我们都很兴奋，唧唧喳喳地议论着“星期八小镇”是什么样子的。

经过大约一个小时的车程，终于到达了“星期八小镇”。我怀着好奇的心情下了车，跟着大人们一起向“星期八小镇”走去。

走到门口，我向里面望去，只见里面有很多可爱的图案，还有几辆车正在行驶呢。我们走了进去，一进门就看见有一间“中国银行”，是让小朋友取钱的。我取了50元，就和李婧君、易芷筠一起到别的地方玩了。

这里的“店铺”可多了，有“警察局”啦，有“一院”啦，有“消防局”啦，还有“蛋糕店”啦等等。首先，我们来到了“医院”学当医生。穿上医生的衣服，医生就给我们讲解怎样给病人治病，要注意些什么，生动而详细。

接下来，就要工作了。一个小朋友溺水了，我们抬着担架赶忙去救人。一看，啊?她呼吸不了!医生又教我们怎样做人工呼吸，我们按照医生教的方法麻利地把她平放在地上，给她按压心脏、人工呼吸。过了一会儿，她终于醒来了，大家都松了一口气，我心头的一块大石才落地。我们马上把她抬到担架上，将她送回医院进一步救治。

这时，一位摄影师向我们走来，他给我们每人照了相，留作纪念。

临走时，医生说有工资发哦，她给每人发了5元钱。我们都很高兴。

“星期八小镇”给我带来了许多快乐，通过这些实践活动，我学会了很多书本上没有的知识。我还想再来一次，再次体验一下工作的快乐和收获。

正月初一，这是一个拜年得日子。早上，大家必须吃长寿面，不下两碗不停。这一天不准洗澡，母亲在家接待客人，父亲去拜年，小孩去玩。到啦下午，父母亲就换一下。晚上，孩子们要去找亲戚们讨压岁钱，还要说：“恭喜发财，红包拿来!”大人们只好给。

正月初七，春节得又一个高潮到啦，这一天也是年，只是意义上得不同。同除夕一样，晚上也吃大餐。

正月十五，春节得最后一天，庙会举行得更加热烈。晚上真精彩，整条大街像是办喜事，挂满灯：有纸灯、纱灯、牛角灯这一天晚上，我们都要吃元宵，愿来年继续团圆。

春节是我国最重要得日子，是一家人团圆得日子，是招财进宝得日子。大家也要好好过春节哦!
