三点的时候，我到了二小门口集中，已经有两三个同学在那里了，一位笑容亲切的女老师把我们带到干部新村老人院的图书室分组，有三位女同学一组，去“盆景”老爷爷家里，其他六位男同学和我一组，去“象棋”老爷爷家里。

到了老爷爷的家，一进门，一只全身黑乎乎的八哥朝我们大叫“大家好!”。老爷爷、老奶奶都很热情，老爷爷拿出了一副很大的象棋让我们下，老奶奶拿出了两大盆哈密瓜请我们吃。因为我象棋下得不是很好，只好坐在沙发上边吃哈密瓜，边看那些男同学下。下了几局棋之后，老爷爷带我们去看他们家刚才和我们打招呼的那只八哥，我很感兴趣，他给我们介绍：这只八哥他养了十年，老奶奶教它说“去买菜哟!”，因此每天早上六点的时候，这只八哥便会大叫“去买菜哟!”，老奶奶便会放下手中的活，提着篮子去买菜。我心想，这只八哥被老爷爷他们养了十年，学了很多话，我也要试试看。于是我便蹲下来，对着八哥拍了拍手，八哥那双芝麻大小的眼睛立刻圆溜溜地瞪着我，我对它说“你好”，它马上回了我一句“你好，大家好”。我哈哈大笑起来。这时老爷爷又跟我们聊了聊象棋，又问了我们一些问题。一个小时很快就过去了，我们依依不舍地离开了老爷爷的家。

能够利用暑假的一些时间去陪陪老爷爷、老奶奶，和他们聊聊天、说说话是很有意义的。

air travel. It has some disadvantages, too. For one thing, air travel is

重阳节那天，我在放学回家路上我猛然间想起来今天是重阳节，我还没想好送给奶奶什么例礼物呢。我蹑手蹑脚地走进房间里放下书包从储蓄罐里拿出我所有的“私房钱”，由于平时大手大脚地花费，所以，嘿嘿，钱也没有多少，这里我也不好意思说。正当我拿着钱“偷偷摸摸”走出家门时，奶奶叫住了我：“乖孙子，到哪儿去啊，鬼鬼祟祟的。”“没事，我出去运动一下。”说着我像作贼被别人发现似的夺门而出。

一路上我不停地在思考，我就这么点钱能买些什么呢。眼看天气越来越冷了，奶奶只忙着给家人编制毛衣手套，自己总是说熬一熬就过去了。我去给奶奶买一双手套吧，这样奶奶打毛衣时就不会感到手冷了。

我来到专门买纺织品的商店一看，这里稍微好一点的手套就要卖到一百多元，最好的更不用说了。我看看手里攥着的钱，正准备垂头丧气地离开时，售货员阿姨叫住我，和蔼地问我来买什么，我沮丧多地说：“今天是重阳节，我来为奶奶买双手套，可惜我钱太少了，买不到。”阿姨亲切地拍拍我的小脑瓜，说：“你真是一个孝敬长辈的好孩子，就冲着你孝顺这一点上，我给你优惠。”我如在黑暗中看见了曙光，那股兴奋劲又从我心底涌现出来，“谢谢阿姨，谢谢您!”我挑了双有山羊图案的手套，奶奶是属山羊的，这双手套简直太配她了。我付了钱，兴冲冲地回家了。

回到家，我把手套藏在背后，笑嘻嘻地走到奶奶面前，把手套递给她，说：“奶奶，节日快乐，这双手套送给你，这样你打毛衣手就不会冷了：”奶奶一把把我搂在怀里：“呦，乖孙儿懂事了，晓得为奶奶着想了。”奶奶搂着我，久久不愿松手……

每年的重阳节我都要给奶奶送礼物，这份礼物虽轻，但在奶奶心里却是孙儿一份沉甸甸的、对祖辈的一份孝顺。可见，老人们多么需要我们这些小辈们去关心呀!
