妈妈兄妹四个，妈妈是大女儿，下面是三个弟弟，外公在妈妈年少的时候就因病逝世了。妈妈小的时候要帮忙照看弟弟，大了要帮忙农活，三个舅舅都上学了，只有妈妈不能上学。在少年的时候政府创办“扫盲”夜校，妈妈去了一小段时间后，也因为要点“油灯”被外婆阻止了。妈妈在说起这些住事的时候，一脸的怅然和无奈。我也怜惜年幼时的妈妈，仿佛看到妈妈在黑暗的夜晚站在屋檐下，看到着别人家的大人和孩子提着“油灯”从跟前经过去上夜校时那种无奈和心酸。

因为没有文化，妈妈一直都做着体力工作直到退休。可能是因为年少时的困顿和缺少关爱，妈妈也不是一个善于表达感情和高情商的人，但却一直都是一个很“自立”的老人，在情感和事务上都不过多依赖子女，她也有自己既定的生活程序不喜欢别人打扰。只要身体允许，每天都在积极的锻炼身体。妈妈在去年做了一个手术，过后我觉得妈妈有了一些变化，对子女的牵挂多了。

在家里的孙辈都长大后，妈妈的生活丰富起来，每天到老干活动中心去，打打麻将，打打乒乓球，参加老年合唱团，她最喜欢也最重视的是合唱团，絮叨得最多。每天拿着放大的歌谱，戴着眼镜，一个字一个字的学，一句句的学唱，还说学会了很多字，也真够不容易的。

我今天拿给她的化妆品就是重阳晚上表演的时候要用的。上个星期我过去的时候，她把演出服拿给我看，玫红色的上衣，黑色的长裙，上衣的襟边还订上两朵镶金边的花。有一次我去老干中心找她的时候，她正在跟老师学唱歌，她很高兴的告诉旁边的老人：这是我小女儿，那些老人七嘴八舌的说，很年轻哦，长得挺高嘛，好像我是刚刚成年的孩子。在一群老人面前的我，大概看上去也是意气风发，青春正好，也是能让妈妈自豪的。

An earthquakes point of initial rupture is called its focus or hypocenter. The term epicenter means the point at ground level directly above this.

中秋节的晚上，我们全家出去散步。抬头一看，一轮明月挂在我们的头顶上方，看上去像一个被刷上洁白油漆的大盘子“挂”在天空中，显得十分明亮。我们走着走着，看到那明亮的月光照在一棵树上，那棵树直直地挺立在那儿，就像一名训练有素的民警。看着月亮，我忽然想起小时候奶奶给我讲的《嫦娥奔月》的故事。奶奶说，是嫦娥偷吃了丈夫后羿的灵丹药，飞上了天。小时候我没学过，以为是真的，可是，现在我长大了，学了《飞向月球》这一课，就知道了，月亮上是没有中国神话中所说的宫殿、桂树、嫦娥和玉兔，也没有希腊神话中所讲的女神。月球上只有巨石嶙峋的荒原和远处耸立着的高山。

我一定要把这个科学道理告诉她老人家，让她也懂懂科学。

我希望在不久的将来，月球一定会成为我们的第二个家园。
