This is Teachers‘Day and a time to be grateful to all teachers. This profession deserves the special recognition and respect. There is no more appropriate time than this to honour you and others in your chosen field. You have my eternal gratefulness.

五一节那天，爸爸、妈妈带着我和妹妹去了海港。

一进海港，我就看见一艘大船停在岸边；我们又走了几步，突然发现大海里的水一边发蓝，一边发黄，我觉得很神奇。不过，我觉得最有趣的是挖蛤喇。第一次我怎么也挖不到一只蛤喇。爸爸教我看见小洞就把手伸进去，我学着爸爸的样子，一会儿抓到了一只花蛤，一会儿又抓到了一只铁蛤，一会儿又抓到了一只白蛤……我来到一条石缝前面，一下就抓到了五只，可这还不够厉害，老爸一下子就抓到了三十只哩！我们齐心协力捉了满满一袋子蛤喇。爸爸又带领我们去捉螃蟹，好不容易捉了一小袋，妹妹高兴得一甩一甩的，甩破了袋子，螃蟹都逃跑了。我生气的说：“叫你甩，甩坏了吧？本来一顿美味大餐，叫你甩飞了最美的一道菜，真可惜！”

在回家的路上，爸爸说：“早晨早起来捉蛤喇，捉它几十斤不成问题！”我们一路上又是说说笑笑的，高兴极了！

The significant inscription found on an old key "If I rest, I rust" would be an excellent motto for those who are afflicted with the slightest taint of idleness. Even the most industrious might adopt it with advantage to serve as a reminder that, if one allows his faculties to rest, like the iron in the unused key, they will soon show signs of rust and, ultimately, cannot do the work required of them.
