Kaifeng, one of the ancient capitals, also boasts the following buildings worthy of a visit: Iron Pagoda (Tie Ta) of the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127), Dragon Pavilion (Long Ting) - site of imperial palace of the Song and Jin dynasties - and the 1400-year-old Xiangguo Temple which is one of the most famous Buddhist temples in China. Companies also tend to emphasize the academic achievement of a job candidate. Like it or not, there does exist a social reality – the higher diplomas one gets, the more popular he becomes。

On the contrary, other people claim that a high diploma doesn’t automatically translate into knowledge. A diploma, in their eyes, is only the acknowledgment of one’s educational experience rather than a guarantee of one’s ability. 在我上小学四年级的时候，我们班上的同学喜欢在穿着上攀比。每个人都像被感染似的，我也不例外，深受其“毒害”。同学们有的衣服上印着“米老鼠”，有的印着“白雪公主”。我为了在同学面前炫耀，回家后就哭闹着要妈妈帮我买新衣服。我穿的衣服实在是太旧了，颜色灰灰的，肩膀上还破了一处。谁知道妈妈十分生气。她气愤的训斥我：你怎么这么不懂事？我们家哪有钱给你买衣服。旧衣服怎么了，旧衣服就不能穿了吗？你也太不知好歹了。学习才是最重要的。你只要学习好，别人就不会怎么说你的。”

学习才是最重要的。我牢记这句话。一晃就是好几年。如今我穿的依然是朴素的衣服。有一天，妈妈突然对我说要帮我买一身新衣服。我说：“妈，我不有一件衣服了吗？”妈妈笑着对我说：“你那件都旧了。以前我们家没有钱，而现在生活条件变好了。”我家生活变好了，妈妈花钱也大方了，中学生作文《家乡的变化》。这也许就是变化。

几年前，我印象中的家乡人是小气的，吝啬的。

汶川地震发生后，我改变了对家乡人的看法。在灾区人民需要帮助的时候，家乡人表现出来的是慷慨大方的精神。人们纷纷捐钱给灾区。有的人捐出了1000多元。当然，重要的是爱心，不是钱。有的人经济条件不好，就去献血。总之，人们都想为社会做出贡献。这令我吃惊。家乡人变化的真快！

过去几年，我们村的环境并不好：随处可见的垃圾袋，遍地的废纸，河水污浊不堪，河面上都是死鱼烂菜，泛着白沫。到了夏天，就成了一条名副其实的臭水沟。即使是这样，也没有人管理。人们的环保意识实在是太差了，随意破坏环境。

如今随着社会的进步，人们的道德观念也加强了。人们在村长的领导下，齐心协力治理环境问题：捞取垃圾，疏通河道；清理街道，植树种花。家乡的环境终于有所好转。这也是家乡的变化吧！

从贫穷到富裕，从吝啬到大方，从无知到有知，这些就是家乡的变化！
