I like travelling very much， this years winter vacation I went to wuxi，

Todays wuxi， let me have to admire it， though the beautiful night view

than Shanghai， but it is also the mainland top ten charm city! The charm of it

is still in the scenery around it. For example： li garden， three kingdoms city，

water margin and Tang Cheng beautiful scenery of wuxi city， it is no wonder that

wuxi would be so charming. Shanghai is a city that never sleeps， this word is

true. On the beauty of the bund， looking at star of the Oriental pearl tower， a

kind of want to stay in Shanghai， live in Shanghai will be instantly. In the

Oriental pearl tower in Shanghai at night is really an enjoyment， sparkling the

huangpu river， those dots of lights， and there will be a very romantic feeling!

I live in the hotel in nanjing road， visit the store every night， feeling really

very good!!!!!!

It was all that could be done for the whole wide world, for there was only

one of the man that care mostly for him than it is to other things or objects or

things like that; well mostly he cared for himself as I said.

One day he was going to work when he found a very big rock. He loved it and

so carried it to work; when he was there his companions argued with him because

rocks were not allowed in his office or his work area I said.

The man didn’t care for as I had said before this greedy man cared the most

was him and not others. When it was at the end of the day the man went home and

of course went to the mirror to look at himself perfectly. When it was time for

another day at work, the man was very, very, very sad; for his rock was gone.

Now it all happened that there was this rock collector that wanted to collect

all the rocks in his country.

When his companions told him about that he was not happy to hear it, and so

the man had decided to go on an adventure to find the one that had stolen his

rock; even though he didn’t even know what he looks like, but he had a sick plan

which will fool the one that won’t confess his fault. After giving or preparing

the things he’ll need, he hopped on his scooter and drew off to find the guy

that he was searching for.

The guy was soon found out and when he had been caught by the police, then

that time was the guy’s end. Everybody was happy to get their rock back, and

even though they knew that rocks didn’t have their lives; they were still happy

together. Now you know the meaning of rebound, it means: When you do a bad thing

then another bad thing will happen to you. I hope this story will teach you

something important.

And for the one that had stolen the rocks from other people, he knew his

own fault, but it was too late to confess it…

Even if the guy didn’t go to jail, he still knew his own fault and I am 100

percent sure that he will confess it too you know…

I am sorry to trouble you, but nobody would come into my mind to help me except you.

You know, I had planned this holiday for several years. A t last, my dream came true. You could imagine how excited I was. My mind was completely occupied with the holiday. I forgot to collect my laundry. I dont know if you can help me collect my laundry. I sent the laundry to the Johns. It is the one down the corner on St. Peters Street. You cant miss it, because the house is painted green-a big green house. I have got two pairs of trousers, three shirts, one T-shirt and a blanket. Call a taxi to send you home. I will pay you back when I am home.

My first stop is London. It is raining. The streets are very clean. How I wish I could have the chance to see the famous London fog. But someone told me that was already the history. One can only read things like that about London in books.

Everybody loves reading right, well here is a story that tells you how a

little boy didn’t like reading; at last became so nervous in his show that he

had to read a book that soon became a famous writer.

There was once a little boy that loved to play, but the only thing he

didn’t like was to read a book. When he was bored of playing, he did not go to

read a book, but to play video games. One day his parents became sick of this

habit and so thought of a plan to make him like reading.

And so one day when school was over, the boy’s parents went to his school,

and found his teacher and said, “Dear teacher, I am wondering if by any chance

you could help us with a little small problem.”

The teacher agreed, and so they told them their problem. The teacher

remembered all that she needed to do, and waited until Friday arrived. When it

was the last class of the day, she told the whole class that each one of them is

going to put on a show for the whole school. The little boy thought that that

was a great idea. After he had finished school, he immediately ran home to get

materials which were toys and prepared the other things too. When he was ready,

he began to make up a routine. But he couldn’t think of anything except playing;

when it was the day before it was time to put on the show, the little boy still

didn’t come up with any routine; and so he thought and thought. When his parents

said that it was time to go to school to put on the show, the little boy was as

nervous as a chicken in a forest with a wolf beside it.

His parents said that if he couldn’t think of any routine then he will just

have to read a book. The boy had no choice, when he finished he came up with a

routine he went to school just in time for the show.

He loved making a routine by then, from that time on he loved reading, and

when he was bored of playing he began to read.

After and few years he became famous and was very proud of that day’s

lesson.

I was truly enraptured beyond expression to receive your flowers which

turned our living room into a garden. How considerate and wonderful of you to

lucky money from my parents and relative. My mother will save the money for me.

She tells me that she will return it to me when I grow up. I also keep part of

I was born in 1968, and I went to school from 1973 to 1988. In 1987 I took the General Certificate of Education, and I got good grades in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. After leaving school, I attended the Orient Technical College, where I first studied Fiber Technology and Color Chemistry; later I studied other subjects related to textile manufacture, and in 1991 I obtained the Diploma in Textiles.

After completing my studies, I joined the Top Clothing Company where I worked until 1996. In that year I moved to Prior Productions, who was pleased with my work, and as a result, in 1998, I was promoted to Assistant Works Manager there.

I enjoy my work, and I am prepared to work hard. Moreover, I am sure that Prior Productions would give me an excellent reference. I therefore feel that my application deserves your serious consideration.

Liu Kai is my classmate. He is a good student and always ready to help

others.

One day on his way to school，he saw a little girl crossing the road. A car

was coming towards her quickly and the girl was too frightened to move. The car

nearly hit her. Just then LiuKai rushed up to her and caught her by the arm. The

little girl was saved. She told him where she lived，and he took her home. When

LiuKai hurried into the classroom，the teacher had already begun his lesson. He

told the teacher why he was late. He was then praised for what he had done.

In the east of China， there is a small city---Haimen. I was born there.

Today， I am telling you about my hometown. Haimen is not far from Shanghai. It’s

at the mouth of the Changjiang River. Haimen is a modern city. There are lots of

high buildings in it. Most of us live in flats. We like to live in flats because

we can be close to our friends. In the center of Haimen， there are many shops.

You can buy some nice things here. Things in most shops aren’t expensive. You

can pay a little money and they are yours. My hometown is a beautiful city. On

each of the roads， there are some big trees and nice flowers. The roads are also

very clean. They make people happy and comfortable. The seasons here are very

nice. I like autumn best. It’s neither hot nor cold. A poem says “Flyer of

summer come to my window to sing， then fly away. And yellow leaves of autumn，

which have no songs， just fall there with a sign.” It’s very cool.I love Haimen.

It’s a nice place to live. Welcome to my hometown.

My school is very beautiful. It is in Guicheng, near the Qiandeng Lake. Do

you know it? It is Nanhai Experimental Primary School. I like my school very

much.

There is a big playground in my school. We have P.E. class on the

playground and we often play sports on it , too. Our teaching building has five

floors. My classroom is on the fifth floor. It is big and clean. The computer

rooms are on the third floor. There is a library on the second floor. There are

many books in the library. I often read books here. There are some music rooms

and art rooms in the teaching building, too.

The teachers in my school are very kind . The students are very polite and

smart. I am happy in my school.

My father is thirty-five years old. He is an attractive middle-age. He is

an engineer, working in a big factory of my city. His working time is regular,

going to office at eight o’clock and coming home at six o’clock. He works hard

and becomes an important person in his factory. At weekends, he does not go to

work, so that he usually stays at home or take my mother and I go out. In my

opinion, my father is a great person. He brings happiness to my family.

Chinese people always appreciate the purposes and principles of Olympic

ideal, support the efforts of Olympic Games to promote world peace. The Chinese

Government and people are doing our the utmost/best to prepare for the 2008

Olympic Games in Beijing, and shooting at the pageant with advocating Olympic

ideal, sparkpluging world peace and enhancing the relationships among the world.

Olympic spirit are gonna spread again in orient cultural ancient China.

The government and people of China have always admired the purposes and

principles of the Olympic spirit and supported the efforts made by the Olympics

in promoting world peace. The Chinese government and people are doing our utmost

in preparation for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. It is our hope to make it a

grand gathering that will carry forward the Olympic spirit, promote world peace

and enhance the friendship among people of the world, so that the Olympic spirit

will flourish once again, this time in China, an oriental country with an

Early morning, sun farther-in-law showed smiling face, small alarm clock "

bite the bell bites bell " the ground cries, seem to saying: "Beautiful, should

get up! Should get up!!

Li Lixing, see sun farther-in-law came out, asperse on pale green branch

full bright sunshine. Li Li wore a beautiful powdery dress, wore a sky-blue

pants again. At this moment, transmit outside the window " chirp " cry, li Li

looks up to look, a birdie is crying, seem to saying: "Li Li has breakfast

quickly, I and you go to school together. I and you go to school together..

Li Li eats breakfast rapidly, carry small satchel on the back, go to school

together with birdie.

There was once a little boy that wanted to be a good captain, but he knew

that he was too poor for that; and so he made up a plan to go a world called

Penny. It was a funny name but he didn’t mind. He also thought that his family

wouldn’t let him to go on such a long trip, for Penny that world was a

hundred100 miles more away. It was a very, very long journey for a boy only 10

years old to do.

He insisted that in the night where nobody could find him gone; and so he

set off in 1981, where he could find some kind people in New York. He got his

purse, and set off on his journey a day before the year; he went off at March,

starting with bare feet; he met on his way a little girl wishing so much for

money, and he picked up his purse; but found out that he had but only a little

bit of copper coins, there was not enough for her.

He stopped a while for about 10 days to find a job to earn money; he was

always kind, and was willing to help others when they are in need. At last he

got 100 cents with was 100 silver coins, and that paid the little girl

wealthily, he still kept the copper coins in emergencies.

After two more days of journeying, he found a place where it was icy and

cold, he knew that he couldn’t make it to Penny in time, and, so, made a

comfortable shelter to stay in until spring; where he came out happily, and

started off in 1982. When he at last reached Penny, he found a good job, and

paid it off with the copper coins.

He preferred the money to his whole family, and got $100 in return to the

kind people with which helped him when he was like, in trouble or something

like. That, it was good that nobody ever questioned him where he was that whole

time when he went back; but he was still glad that he got to help his family.

When he recovered, he felt a little bit sad, and lay down; the next morning when

his parents came into his recovering house to take him home to rest and play,

they found his two hands clasped on his white covered sheet bed, as if dead.

This place comes where his parents were shocked; they knew that this was

the boy’s last sleep, the cried bitterly all night long, while there was still a

smile on the hero’s face.

Our great motherland is one of the largest countries in the world. It has a

population of over twelve hundred million. Beijing is its capital.

We Chinese people are brave and hardworking. We have a glorious

revolutionary tradition. We drove out all the enemies. In 1949 the Peoples

Republic of China was founded. Since then great changes have taken place in our

motherland. Now our country is getting stronger and stronger. We Chinese people

are working hard to make our motherland into a powerful country.

Children are regarded as “flower of our motherland”. In our country

children are taken very good care of. Special laws have been issuedto protect

them. Thousands of schools have been set up to make education available to all

children. The Party and the government pay special attention to the growth of

children because they represent our bright future.

在放学的路上，不远处，环卫工人在扫地，他们抬起又弯下的背影，触动了我记忆深处的某个角落，我不禁想起一个人来——环卫工人张大爷。

张大爷是个模范环卫工人，因为他坚守岗位，无论严寒还是酷暑，总能在大街上见到他那忙碌的身影。记得有一年夏天，气温高达三十八度，就连树上的知了都不叫了，张大爷一如既往地在大街上忙碌着。张大爷汗流浃背，累的脚底下都磨出了血泡，但他依然为城市的整洁而忙碌着。还有一年冬天，大街上寒风呼啸，天空中飘着鹅毛大雪。张大爷为了不让路人滑倒，他冒雪清理路上的积雪，没过多久张大爷就变成了一个会移动的“雪人”。

更让我敬佩的是张大爷那拾金不昧的品质。记得有一次，张大爷在清理路边的垃圾时，发现了一个用报纸包着的包裹。张大爷打开一看原来是厚厚的一摞现金。面对这一摞现金，张大爷心想：“失主一定很着急，或许，失主也和我一样身患重病，正需要用这笔钱去看病呢。”想到这儿，张大爷又把钱重新包好，等着失主回来寻找。一连几个小时过去了，张大爷终于等来了失主。失主要感谢张大爷，便把一小摞现金给他，但被他婉言谢绝了。可是又有谁知道，清贫的张大爷当时正需要一笔钱看病。没过多久，张大爷因没钱看病就去世了。

张大爷虽然去世了，但是他那种拾金不昧的精神值得我们学习。他在我的心中永远是最美的环卫工人!
