成吉思汗

Genghis Khan, "Khan of Khans", was the great leader of Mongolians. At the

end of 12th century, he united Mongolian tribes and challenged other powers to

In 1277, Khan attacked the West Xia Kingdom (presently Ningxia) and

There are four sacrifice ceremonies held annually to commemorate the great

wrestling are held as entertainment.

Since I was very small, my parents would read me some stories before I

【勤劳的环卫工人】

在每个城市或社区都有这样一群人，他们默默无闻，朴实勤劳，无私奉献，这群人就是城市美容师——环卫工人。

去年暑假的一天，我与妈妈顶着火辣辣的太阳去超市买东西，刚出门看着湛蓝的天空那笑容明媚的太阳公公，我立马跟妈妈说道：“妈，我能不能不去啊?”妈妈笑容满面的看着我说：“可以啊，那你的零食我可不管哦!”我听后想到那美味可口的零食，义无反顾的跟着老妈去了超市。

走了一半路程左右，看到前面有一个公园，便对老妈说：“我们歇一会儿再走吧!”妈妈看了看我头上冒出了豆儿大的汗珠就同意了。于是，我们母女俩就在公园里的椅子上坐下休息了。我看见来来往往的人，有不少人手中都拿着棒冰，而冰棍的包装袋则被随意地丢弃在地上，我正想上前把包装袋捡起来时，一位环卫工人拿着扫把和垃圾篓走过来把包装袋扫进了垃圾篓里。动作是那么的利索。我抬头一看，不远处有一对青年男女也坐在树下乘凉，一边削着桃子皮一边聊天，水果削好后，只见那位年轻男生竟把桃子皮扔在地上。要知道，垃圾桶就在离他们十几米之外，只需走几步就到了。一旁的环卫工人见了就上前那位男生说：“垃圾桶就在不远处，只需走十几步，扔在垃圾桶里多好啊!”坐在边上的女生听了后抬起头用轻蔑的眼神看了看环卫工人，嘲讽地说：“我们爱扔哪扔哪，你家住太平洋吗?管得这么宽，不就是一个破扫地的吗?”环卫工人听了本想说什么，可是那位女生直接拉着男生离开了。环卫工人望着他们远处的背影，轻轻地叹了口气。低下头把果皮扫进了垃圾桶里。之后，她又到别处去查看了。

看着环卫工人那消瘦的身躯，我不仅感叹：要是没有她们，我们的环境该会变得多脏啊!所以，我们不应该另眼相看这群环卫工人，而是应该捧着一颗满怀尊敬的心去对待她们。不随意丢弃果皮纸屑，应该自觉自愿地将垃圾丢在垃圾桶内，人人争做一个文明有素养的人。

all the children go to school. My mother takes us to school everyday. She does

the housework. She always has her lunch at home, and sees her friends in the

get home early. My father goes home from work and he is often late. After supper

my two brothers and I do our homework. We go to bed at ten.

Mr. Lolo: You’re out, Hailey! No prize for you, Hahahahahaha; okay, Johnny

your up! Wish you good luck! Break a leg! Ha!

And so Johnny was up, he lifted up his arrow and aimed perfectly on ten,

and so he got 100 points; his second aim missed and landed on 9; he got

100+90=190 points; he liked Hailey broke a string on the last aim too, and so

Mr. Lolo had another chance of saying the word…

Mr. Lolo: You’re out! Ha! No prize for you too, Hahahahahaha; okay…

Mr. Lolo didn’t even finished when Johnny pulled out the string from his

pocket and tied it onto the bow; then he made his aim and won the prize. Hailey

told Johnny after the competition…

Hailey: I’m sorry Johnny, I congratulate you! And you’re right, I should

have kept the string; next time I will keep one if I have a chance.

In the east of China， there is a small city---Haimen. I was born there.

Today， I am telling you about my hometown. Haimen is not far from Shanghai. It’s

at the mouth of the Changjiang River. Haimen is a modern city. There are lots of

high buildings in it. Most of us live in flats. We like to live in flats because

我们计划数个活动We have planned several activities . When we get there , we will

visit the elderly in their rooms in groups, 向他们送花和自制的卡片，为了表达我们的尊敬和热爱。presenting

them with flowers and self--?made cards to show our respect and love. Then we

will do some cleaning and washing for them with the help of the nurses.

As some old people feel lonely .We may chat with them about their old days,

changes of our city, or anything they are interested in

.我们会给他们一些表演，例如：唱歌，舞蹈等等。

We may also give them some performances, such as singing, dancing and so

on.

我确定我们都会都中国的老人拥有更好的理解。I am sure we will both gain a better understanding of
