真相是谣言的天敌。确保公众及时通过权威渠道获取最新、最准确的信息，是对抗谣言的第一要务。在权威信息与“小道消息”之间，权威信息越是精准、及时，就能获取越多人的信赖，进而压缩“小道消息”的生存空间。反之，如果权威信息处于缺位状态，人们自然会去寻找各种“小道消息”，以满足其对信息的需求。

不是真相的“东风”压倒谣言的“西风”，就是谣言的“西风”压倒真相的“东风”。对此，有关部门还须以公开透明的原则为指导，做好信息发布工作，以真相对抗谣言。

面对疫情，恐慌是一种难以避免的情绪，但越是如此，我们便越是要努力克服这种情绪造成的负面影响。过度的恐慌不仅是谣言的温床，也可能促使人们做出一些不理性的举动，譬如盲目就医、抢购物资等等。这些举动不仅会影响医疗秩序，冲击物价，还可能造成交叉感染，使疫情进一步恶化。为此，媒体、专业人士应努力将科学的防疫方法告知更多的人，让人们认识到恐慌无用，并掌握自我鉴别、自我隔离的基本方法，从而平抑恐慌情绪。这不仅能够降低社会风险、维护社会秩序，也能让有限的防疫资源用到最需要的地方。

为克服恐慌情绪，所有人都要加强科学素养和媒介素养，遵循权威信源的专业建议，践行最合乎理性的防疫方法。具体而言，应当认真做好个人防护，已经生病的人要听从医嘱对症下药，而不是盲目就医。要减少不必要的外出与聚会，不轻信来历不明的防疫方法，不传播无法证实的虚假消息。不论是抵抗病毒、抵抗谣言还是抵抗恐慌，每个人都要把自己当成一道防线，由此成为防疫工作的正面助力。

在新概念三册中，对比论证的方法反复被运用到，至少出现了五次，分别在篇章L12，L23，L38，L41 和L54的第一段出现。如果对这五篇文章中的对比论证段落仔细研读，会发现这些段落有着几乎完全一样的结构，有规律可循，所以对比论证方法应该是三册学习中不可忽略的一个部分。

这里我们就拿第12课为例。对比论证出现在了第一段。作者在第一段开门见山提出了论点：Most of us have formed an unrealistic picture of life on a desert island（我们许多人对于荒岛生活有一种不切实际的想法）。之后作者讲了两种截然相反的想法：一种想法是imagine it to be a sort of paradise（认为荒岛是天堂）；另一种想法是Life on a desert island is wretched（荒岛生活很可怕）。最后一句话是个总结句。作者正是通过两种呈对比的想法来论证“人们对荒岛生活有不切实际的想法”这一观点。需要读者关注的是，在两种成对立的想法之间作者用了一句非常漂亮的过渡句：The other side of the picture is quite the opposite. （另一种想法恰恰相反）。于是，一个结构清晰严谨、论述有理有力的段落跃然纸上。

读罢上述五篇文章的第一段，不难发现它们都是由两种相反的观点组成，而在相反的观点中间，作者都运用过渡句，这里对对比论证的过度表达稍作总结：

了解了对比论证之后，我们不妨思考下如何运用这种手法，毕竟学以致用才是我们的最终目的。如果针对当前的英语高考作文题，我们完全可以让它在我们的考场上发挥作用。这里以上海2004年和2005年的英语高考作文题为例，看看这一新概念三册中反复出现的手法如何作为应试技巧运用到考试中。

2005上海英语高考作文题：

古人云：“天生我材必有用”(There must be a use for my talent.)。通过描述你生活中的一件事，说明人各有所长，无论才能大小都能成为有用的人。

写作文首先要做的是审题，这个题目要求你在写文章时做到两点：你的观点是支持“天生我才必有用”；用你生活事例论证。如何引出自己的观点呢？我们可以运用对比手法，可以先就题中话题先找到两个对立观点，然后再抛出自己的观点。值得一提的是，考官在批阅一片作文时首先会注意考生是否偏题。那我们如何避免偏题呢？一个很好的方法就是在开头就告诉改卷老师你扣题了。比如笔者写下如下一段作为作文首段：

People have formed an unrealistic picture of their talents. Some imagine themselves to be unconquerably intelligent. On the opposite, others tend to consider themselves a drop in the ocean, powerless and useless. There is an element of truth in both ideas, but I am convinced that there must be a use to out talent, as it can be proved by my own experience.

先写人们对自己的天赋形成了不切实际的看法，然后写两种极端的看法：一种是认为自己绝顶聪明，另一种是自己如沧海一粟，微小无用。在这两个相反的观点之间有了on the opposite来过渡。这正是运用了对比论证的手法，但是别忘了上述的两点考题要求。在列举了两种相反的观点之后就可以抛出自己的观点：I am convinced that there must be a use to out talent.而后自然用过一个as it can be proved by my own experience的句子过渡到以下的事例对这一观点进行论证。如此一写，完全不用担心是否扣题的问题，因为在这一文章首段告诉了考官自己的观点，并且通过一个过渡句说明下文内容是起到论证作用的事例。当然不要忘记这里是通过对比的手法来引出自己的观点的。

上述高考题属于比较严肃的话题，如果遇到的话题涉及生活事件呢？下面再列举另一种风格的高考作文题。

2004上海英语高考作文题

老师要求你负责班级墙报(wall newspaper)工作并征求你的意见。在日记中表述你的决定并谈谈想法。

我们首先还是要捉摸清楚考题的要点：你的决心；你的想法。负责班级墙报貌似是个小话题，但是我们完全可以运用上对比论证的手法。比如在写自己的决心时，不妨先写一般人对这样一个老师指派的任务是何种态度，而后引出自己的决心。而在写一般人的态度时完全可以用上对比的手法。比如笔者写下如下一段作为作文首段：

People show different attitude when appointed to be in charge of wall newspaper. Those who regard the task as a great burden would decline it while those who long to serve their fellow students would accept it with great pleasure. As for me, it is a golden opportunity to practice myself, so when the challenge comes, I will accept it.

可以先用一句话总起人们会有不同的态度，而后写两个呈对比的观点：一种是认为这是个负担因而拒绝承担；另一种是渴望为民服务因而欣然接受。中间运用的过度是while，这样可以将呈对比的做法浓缩在一个句子里，句子结构的复杂性提升。然后通过as for me来表达自己的态度，也就是我的部分决心。

当然，不要忽略作文题中的另一个非常重要的要求，即该作文是以日记形式出现，所以不妨将将这一比较正式的段落放在文中而非文首。

这里暂以两个高考作文题为例，运用上新概念三册中的对比论证手法，希望可以给大家一些启发，帮助大家真正地将这一结构手法活学活用。

随着互联网的发展，网红像泛滥的洪水那样污染了祖国的花朵，掀翻了历史的根基，-了人们脑海中原有的世界观和价值观，所以，我认为莫让网红“红透”互联网，要还互联网清净向善的环境。

顾名思义，网红就是通过互联网来贩卖低俗劣质的内容走红的普通人，他们依附迎合了大众的低级趣味，却忘了中华优秀传统文化不容他们污染，因此，我们应借助互联网这个平台来发扬优秀文化，拒绝网红传播的低俗劣质的内容。

张爱玲说过：“出名要趁早。”如今，大多数网红都是年轻貌美的人，利用自己的美貌来博得网民欢喜。正如网红papl酱了，她是北影的在读学生，偶然一次的视频吐槽，迅速走红，她用锐利敏捷的语言批判当今社会的某些现象，但她拒绝商业化，多次拒绝接广告，拍电影，试着想想，有多少网红能像她那样面对利益诱惑，保持纯真崇高的节气。我想少之又少，所以，让有作为有素质有文化的网红在互联网上红透是可以的，但必须拒绝与之相反的，这样才能达到传播正能量的目的。

三毛说过：“人，真是奇怪，没有外人来证明你，就往往看不出自己的价值。”为此，她为了寻找人生的价值，率性地走了一回撒哈拉沙漠，去寻找远方的诗和远方的梦。但在现今网红眼中，他们不是为了追逐梦想，而是追逐那丰厚的金钱。俗话说，人怕出名猪怕壮。网红们出了名车也来了，狗仔队也天天守着身边，寻找爆料的份子，时不时也想尽办法闹出个绯闻来。网红更希望借此来提高知名度，扩大吸金影响力。而对比之下，诺贝尔文学奖获得者莫言，依旧呆在书房里，别着精致的发夹，埋头创作，拒绝外界来访，低头思念他那高密老家，更显示了大作家的文艺范。因此，网红一时的名声大起是不能成气候的，应像莫言甘坐几十年冷板凳，游畅于文学之中，方能有大作为。

在这“天下熙熙皆为利来，天下攘攘皆为利往”的时代，更应擦亮眼睛，莫被蝇头小利蒙蔽了双眼，面对网红“红透”半边天的现象，我们更应接受优秀文化的熏陶，提升品味和情操，要做到“出淤泥而不染，濯清涟而不妖”。政府更应加强网络管理，加大宣扬优秀的网络文化的力度，莫让网红“红透”互联网。

睫在眉下看不见，我们常常忽视自己的内心。有时只有依赖“天才的作品”才能清醒的看到自我，为什么会这样？是天才作品的真实深刻打动我们？还是我们自己内心早已有的诉求？我想，二者皆有。鲁迅先生的《阿q正传》刚刚发表就掀起酣然大波，很多人都觉得鲁迅在骂自己。“儿子打老子”的自轻自贱，“我祖上比你阔多了”的自欺欺人，戏耍小尼姑的泼皮无赖，不准小d头上插筷子的欺软怕硬等等，无一不刺中中国人的劣根性，所有的人都觉得自己就是彻头彻尾的阿q。这充分说明，作品暗合了我们的内心，虽然有些像微光一样暗淡，但它真实的存在。

天才的作品就有这样的功效，让我们心灵的微光乍泄，让自己赤裸裸地展现在别人的作品中，我们想舍弃的属于自己的东西却再一次呈现在自己的面前。所以，我们不能逃避，我们要面对自己的内心，从容地打理好自己精神的后花园。

也有一种人，他们从不放弃心灵闪动的微光，从而找到了自我。弘一法师偶然去虎跑寺辟谷，他身体不好，想通过禁食来调节，回来后身体健壮了许多，这是佛教惠及给他肉体的感受。殊不知，此时，佛教“微光”已在他的心灵深处乍现，也许像火花一样闪过即逝，但弘一法师没有舍弃他，他曾经给夏乨尊说起过想出家，夏乨尊也附和着谈了静修的妙处，没曾想，他真的受戒于灵隐，皈依佛门。他忠实于自己的内心，在青灯古卷的下潜心于佛学研究。他曾给泉州承天寺题词“佛者，觉也，觉了真理，乃能誓舍生命，牺牲一切。”如果说佛光是“天才大作”，那么，弘一法师就是林中的响箭、晨曦中的微光、爱的丰碑！

那么，我们为何要舍弃自己心灵闪动的东西呢？也许是不曾留意自己的内心，也许是没有勇气面对自己，不愿或不屑总结自己，提升自己。希腊神庙上的石柱上有这样一句话：人呀，你要认识你自己！真正能认识自己的人有几个呢？有几人敢于像卢梭那样解剖自己？有几人像鲁迅那些坦然面对自己？也许我们会像沈从文一样，舍弃“湘西文学”“微光”去研究“中国服装”，像郭沫若一样舍弃“凤凰涅槃”的精彩去歌功颂德……芸芸众生的我们呢？难道真的要舍弃善良、关爱、包容等属于自己东西，随波逐流吗？

其实，有时我们不得不在“天才”作品的呼唤下醒来。尽管昏睡者比清醒着更幸福，但总要醒来。

你好！

分别已多时，最近还好吗？在这春意盎然的时节，常忆起你我共同学习与玩乐的情景，往事历历在目。最不能忘怀的，便是那件事了。

那一天，临近考试，老师要求我们做了试卷，然后同桌互相批改。我笔走龙蛇地完成了，交换后，瞟了一眼老师的正确答案，又瞥了一眼我的答案，发现了好几个错题。爱面子的我急忙拐了你下，又向你打手语，不停比比画画。你看了，好像没明白是什么意思，瞪着迷茫的眼睛看着我。我又向你打手语，可你仍旧不明白。

我有些着急，便悄悄地凑过去，轻声说：“你别把我的题批上错误。”你听到后，明白了我的意思，看着我，眼神中充满着惊讶又夹杂着几许责备的意思。你转过头来，用红笔在错误题目上批上了几个红叉。

看到这儿，我很生气，气鼓鼓地转过脸去，心里想：哼！你不仁，别怪我不义。抓起红笔连看也不看，就在你的试卷上胡乱批改。批改完后，又故意挑衅性地看了你一眼。我却看到你的眼神中充满了伤感。

这伤心的眼神，一瞬间，把我的气全撒了，心底变得清凉无比。我静下心来，又认真思考了一下：你是对的，你把我的错误纠正了，这不是在害我，这是在帮我啊！这是在让我进一步提高自己，而我却……唉！我真是不该！羞愧涌上我的心头。

下了课，我吞吞吐吐地说：“对……对不起，我不该生你的气。”
