When I look at the old photo, I cant help thinking of my best friend, Wang Ying. At the age of five, I made friends with her. She lived next door to me, and was then seventeen years old. The twelve years gap in age didnt hinder our growing fondness for each other. She treated me as a younger sister of her own.

In school, Wang Ying was a 3-A student. She did well in every subject. But she never seemed to be proud of her achievements. She was hard-working and good-natured to younger students. Dragon Boat Festival is one the very classic traditional festivals, which

has been celebrated since the old China. Firstly, it is to in honor of the great

poet Qu Yuan, who jumped into the water and ended his life for loving the

country. Nowadays, different places have different ways to celebrate.

In my hometown, there will be a traditional competition, that is the dragon

boat race. People make up the team and fight for the honor. Every boat looks

析：这是学生最容易写错的句子。enough to“足以、足够”。原句中“不够大不能去上学”意思是“不够上学的年龄”，故应译为not old enough to go to school。

5. 他们两个都不说英语。

误：Both of them don’t speak English.

正：Neither of them speaks English.

析：中国学生特别对于all…not 和both…not等这种部分否定结构，很容易理解成全部否定。两者全部否定用neither, 三者以上用none。

被尊称为“炎帝”的神农氏，看到被病痛折磨地苦不堪言的人们，毅然决然地去品尝百草。他在这一过程中不仅发现了许多对疾病有效的药物，还发现了不少粮食谷物，为人类的生存做出了伟大贡献。他也曾遇到过不能食用的植物，多次面临生命危险，但他从来没有停止探索的脚步。尽管这只是个神话，但我们依旧能从这口耳相传的故事中感受到神农氏为了救治他人奋不顾身的忘我精神。

抗日战争时期，伟大的加拿大共产党员白求恩同志于1938年1月2日来到正弥漫着硝烟的中国。一年半的时间里，他担任晋察冀军区卫生顾问，率医疗队到山西雁北和冀中前线进行战地救治。四个月的时间，行程750千米，手术300余次，建立手术室和包扎所13处，挽救了无数战士的生命。

_曾称他是一个高尚的人、一个纯粹的人、一个有道德的人、一个脱离了低级趣味的人、一个有益于人民的人。1938年，加拿大政府还未向德军宣战，而中国的战争早已打响。白求恩同志前往纽约向国际援华委员会报名，并主动请求组建一个医疗队到中国北部和游击队一同工作。他如此迫切地要前往中国，不只因为他是一名共产党员，更因为他是一名医护工作者，一位身穿白衣的医生。

时至今日，新的病毒还是层出不穷，医护工作者也从未停止与病魔的斗争。如今的新型冠状病毒，自武汉起大幅扩撒，有谁还记得封城的那天晚上，那些迎着人群，逆流而上的白衣战士，他们也像所有人一样担心病毒，惦念亲友。但他们嘴里说着“请命”，便身体力行地率先冲到武汉。

一时间，那一颗颗凡人的心被一袭白衣包裹，白衣瞬间化作铠甲，让身着它的勇士充满的无限的力量。他们在那一刻，已经无暇顾念自己的亲人朋友，满心都是那些被病痛折磨的患者，每天都迎接着新的挑战，不言辛苦疲惫，不顾自身安危，只因为那一袭白衣。

医护工作者的精神是大部分普通人无法理解的。他们的家朋友都在担心，但只有他们自己明白。这就是白衣承载的前辈嘱托，这就是身穿白衣者的责任担当，这就是普通人无法承受的白衣的分量。

We often play and do homework together. After school, we went home happily

together. When we do our homework, we take out our Chinese and math homework

first, and then take out our pencils and sharpen them. Then we did our homework

quietly and seriously. Suddenly, I encountered a problem that I couldnt do.

Just when I was sweating, he came to me and taught me detailed problem-solving

methods and steps. With his help, I finally fully understood.

We help and learn from each other every day, and slowly we become good

friends.

我的好朋友叫吕俊儒。他个子高高的，有一双大大的、炯炯有神的眼睛，弯弯的眉毛像镰刀，头发短短的，下巴尖尖的，圆圆的脸蛋笑起来就像一个熟透了的红苹果。

我们常常一起做作业、玩耍。放学后，我们一起开开心心地回家去。写作业时我们像在学校里一样，我们先把语文和数学作业拿出来，再把铅笔拿出来削好。接着我们安安静静、认认真真地做作业。突然，我遇到了一个不会做的题目，正当我急得满头大汗的时候，他来到我身旁教我详细的解题方法和步骤。在他的帮助下，我终于完全理解了。

我们每天互相帮助、互相学习，慢慢地我们成了好朋友。

Whenever I have a party, Hsiao-mei is always the first person I invite. She is such fun. I know that she will be able to make my other guests laugh. She does not get upset if somebody tries to tease or make fun of her, either. Hsiao-mei can also be very serious and can discuss almost anything you can think of. If it gets late before the party ends, I can always depend on Hsiao-mei to clean up the house. She never says no, even if she is very tired and would rather go straight home to bed.
