The Laba Festival is a traditional Chinese holiday celebrated on the eighth day of the twelfth month of the lunar Chinese calendar. People will eat yuanxiao, or rice dumplings, on this day, so it is also called the "Yuanxiao Festival."Yuanxiao also has another name, tangyuan. It is small dumpling balls made of glutinous rice flour with rose petals, sesame, bean paste, jujube paste, walnut meat, dried fruit, sugar and edible oil as filling. Tangyuan can be boiled, fried or steamed. It tastes sweet and delicious. What’s more, tangyuan in Chinese has a similar

pronunciation with "tuanyuan”, meaning reunion. So people eat them to denote union, harmony and happiness for the family.

In the daytime of the Festival, performances such as a dragon lantern dance, a lion dance, a land boat dance, a yangge dance, walking on stilts and beating drums while dancing will be staged. On the night, except for magnificent lanterns, fireworks form a

I study Chinese、English、maths and History and some other subject at school.I study hard. My favorite subject is English.I often find chance to practice English.China has joined WTO and Beijing will host the 2008 Olympics,English is more and more important .I will study hard and be dedicate to my homeland.

眼睛对我们很重要，同学们一定要很好的保护自己的眼睛哦。

我是一个长的又瘦又高，被全班称为“智慧之星”的一个小男孩，我在东莞市黄冈理想学校就读。

我非常马虎，妈妈给我取了个外号：“小马虎”。有一次，一道数学题，答案明应该是469，可我的眼睛好似脱窗了一样，居然不慌神地写成了964，回家后，妈妈上来就是劈头盖脸一顿骂，差那么1分就满分了！我真是马虎啊！

我也非常聪明。现在我不单单颇受老师的喜爱，更是一位合格的语文科代表。有一次期末考试，有一道智力题，它讲的是怎样带3只鸭子、1只狐狸、5根玉米过桥？我在下面列了一道道公式、又绞尽脑汁地算了一次次，最终解开了思路，多加了5分。现在我的成绩在班里名列前茅，我课余可以和大家交流学习方发，但是，我以前从倒数到现在前几名的秘诀是什么，我可不能泄密哦！

我也是很爱乐于助人的。有一次，我看到一个小朋友在学校里跑来跑去，我就问他：“小弟弟，你要去哪呀？”小弟弟说“我要去2（1）班，可是……找不到！”我听过他的话，就牵着他的手去2（1）班了。到了的时候，他还不忘记说：“哥哥再见！”。所以，在我帮助别人的同时，别人也会帮助我。

这就是我，马虎、聪明、爱助人为乐的我，我就是——彭浩然。

at present, more and more people think that men and women should enjoy

equal rights. many countries even have passed laws to guarantee such an equality

between different sexes. accordingly, there are now no longer certain jobs or

certain places that are closed to women. the number of business women, female

doctors, scientists and leaders is considerably increasing.

there are three main reasons for the improvement of womens social

position. first, women themselves have been persistently struggling for

equality. second, men also realize that women are not born inferior to them.

women can do a great many things as well as or even better than men. third,

social development has produced a great demand for womens participation in

every field.

in spite of these changes the liberation of women has not been completely

realized. prejudice against women is deeply rooted still in some peoples mind,

especially in distant rural areas. so, mankind should take further painstaking

efforts to really realize equality.

师徒四人取得了真经，猪八戒成为了净坛使者，他化为一个绅士，来访人间。虽然天宫中有许许多多的财物，但他毅然打算去开一个包子铺。

于是，他找了一个好地点租了下来。提提裤子，擦擦汗。爬上梯子，挂一块殷红的大布块，写着“净坛包铺”。过路的人一瞧，停止了脚步，惊道：“这条街，总算是有包子店了，再也不用跑远路吃早餐了。”随着太阳的升起。照得那四个大字闪闪发亮，还没等包子出炉，门口便是龙一般的队伍。人们无不议论：“也不知这新来的小子做的包子，好不好吃，服务态度好不好。”

只听一声吆喝：“来啦!”一股热气直漫整个店，客人摩拳撑掌，找出钱，捧着饥饿的肚囊。这个抢：“我要3个。”这边挤：“来上2个”。八戒心中顿时盛开了花了，生意好极了，悄悄念冷战咒：“咈噜啦顿!”身边多了许多年轻小伙，上前服务，人们都拿到了自己的包子，付了钱，找了个位吃起来。哟，瞧这肉包!那皮香酥可口，一咬，嘴上满是油水，肉白里透红，芬芳扑鼻，嫩极了，客人吃得“哒哒”，八戒笑得“哈哈”。香气布满了店。果然，八戒在天宫尝了许多佳肴，也学了许多做菜的方法，包子当然容易，何况这群凡人怎知神仙的法术，别的包子更是美味呀!

一年很快过去，八戒的店一直十分红火，资产已经到了上百万，突然一天，他在电脑上看见某地的孩子穷得没钱，没有吃的十分可怜。他一甩袍子，从银行取出了一半的钱，带上一袋包子，驾着祥云，来到了那地。为了更亲近大家，变为了猪八戒的原身。大家十分感激!

如来在这时带走了八戒，笑道：“真不错，为人民，为世界这正是我们该做的。”说话间八戒的法力也不断提升着。

人间一个包子铺内住着一个神仙，他将永远得给人们幸福!

My name is Wang Xiaochuan. I’m eleven. I live in a small house in Taicang.

I study at Zhu Diwen Primary School. I have seven lessons every day. I study

Chinese, Maths, English, PE, Science, Art, Music, Social Science and Computer

Studies. I like Science, It’s interesting. I don′t like Art, I can’t draw very

well. I usually play games with my good friends, Sun Zhe and Gu Xu ,on Sundays.

I like swimming, playing badminton and playing table tennis.I like eating fruit,

just like strawberries, watermelons and peaches.
