Far and away the most important holiday in China is Spring Festival， also known as the Chinese New Year。 To the Chinese people it is as important as Christmas to people in the West。 the dates for this annual celebration are determined by the lunar calendar rather than the GREgorian calendar， so the timing of the holiday varies from late January to early February。

This weekend, there was an art festival in our school, it had been hold for five years and the school insisted to make it become the feature. I was so excited, this was the first time for me to join. I walked around and appreciated the painting, every work was drawn by the students, I was so impressed by these works. Before Chinese students go to college, they have been told about the great

things on campus life all the time, so they have the motivation to study hard.

When they come to university, they begin to slow down their pace to study and
