妈妈的家乡在榆次区什贴镇龙白村。这里近几年来新农村建设的发展，人们的生活逐渐好了起来，有了翻天覆地的变化。

听妈妈讲：过去的龙白村人们生活水平很差。一条条坑坑洼洼的土路，还不到一米宽，十分难走，一到下雨天，这路就更难走了，变得泥泞不堪，一个个小泥坑占了大半条路。到亲戚家做客，发现大家都住的是土窑洞，而且家里要什么没什么，大家吃的都是粗粮，玉米面窝窝头……
