镇原人的母亲河―茹河!它是轩辕黄帝的故乡河，中华民族的发祥地，周先祖曾在这里兴业，开辟了农耕文化的历史先河。因此，茹河也称为“中华民族的母亲河”。茹河，自古以来为镇原人带来了许多惊喜，爱人者人恒爱之，我们也爱护着它!

香包节是镇原县最具特色的节日，每逢佳期，人们屯街塞巷，个个香包星星点点，还有许多当场临笔作画写字的人儿，让香包节更具艺术氛围。此外，还有剪纸的老爷爷、老奶奶，手艺精妙，手下花鸟虫鱼活灵活现!本地秦腔也倍受欢迎，小小的舞台焕发着迷人的光彩，台下也人山人海，人们有坐着看的、站着看的，还有踮起脚尖看的，即使人潮拥挤也阻挡不了赏秦腔的热情。
