今天是我们军训的最后一天，也是我们会操表演的日子，学校领导都要来检验我们的军训成果。

“稍息!立正!抬头挺胸!”军训第一天就在教官嘹亮的发号声中开始了。

As we all know, volunteering has a meaningful and positive impact on the community you serve and the people you help. In the meanwhile, it can have many benefits for you, too. In my opinion, there are two reasons to

volunteer: feel good about yourself while helping others; build your portfolio.

On one hand, volunteering makes you feel good about yourself on a purely selfish level. There are few things more satisfying than helping people. Hammering nails on a new home while the owner beams with pride right next to you is an amazing feeling. Walking or running to raise funds for a cause close to your heart helps to give you a sense of purpose and helps you realize just how lucky you are. As a volunteer, you will gain new perspective, for it’s so easy for us all to get a little too wrapped up in our own lives. On the other hand, from a professional standpoint, volunteering is a great way to add to your portfolio. From press releases to design pieces, from public speaking to fundraising,

you will have the opportunity to build your portfolio. This is especially beneficial for students or young professionals, although all of us should continually work on building our portfolios.

Apart from the benefits of building up your confidence and making your portfolio better, there are probably many other benefits you will find in your volunteer work. So it is time for you to participate in more volunteer work to help others as well as help yourselves.

Korea is a country that famous for its beach, culture, even their products. Luckily, I had a chance to go to Korea last year.

When I got Korea, it was night. We went our hotel. To our surprise, the hotel was so beautiful and nice, the room was comfortable and the food in the restaurant was also delicious.

The most famous palace in Korea Gyeongbokgung Palace. It is spectacular and it is too big that we spend 5 hours finishing visiting this place.

The shopping mall in Korea is big, very big. The Lotte shopping mall is the biggest one with almost all kinds goods in it. We bought many nice things.

I enjoy myself during this trip. If I can, I want to visit there again.

Afternoon activities started at 1pm till 5:30pm each day. At 6pm, we had our dinner. After that, its was time for all of us to take a good rest until the next morning.

For everyone, the most meaningful thing is not the same. For the uncle of the Peoples Liberation Army, the defenders are the most meaningful thing; for my mother, see the child grow up healthy, happy every day, happily is the most meaningful thing; for teachers, see the students Obediently class, get good grades, is the most meaningful thing; and for me, the following thing is the most meaningful thing!

It was a sunny afternoon, the sun burning the earth, just to people scorched! I wore the sun out in the yard and the children play the game. Suddenly, I saw a grandfather bent over the floor. I went over and said, "Grandpa, let me help you?" Grandpa smiled at me and handed me the broom and said, "Thank you, really a good boy!" I replied: "No thanks , Thats what i should do! "Then I started working!

I am slowly and slowly sweep, but I am competing to sweep a citrus peel slipped! Wrong a sideways! Sweep for a while, I was exhausted, I would like to give up forget. But there seems to be a voice saying, "No sweep is a coward!" I kept up again.

After a long time, we finally finished the floor of the yard! I looked at a clean ground, very pleased, because my efforts have a return. I am glad to return the broom to the grandfather. Grandpa is a good boy who loves labor. My heart is so beautiful!

I think this is a very meaningful thing, because this exercise me!

In my understanding, if we refer to an ideal University life as a formal western dinner, then a high GPA, that is, Grade Point Average, should be the main course, while an active part in activities, together with associations, means the appetizer. Some romances, of course, play the role as desserts. They are the 3 key elements for an ideal University life.

Those, however, are not what University life is all about. As we all know, University is wildly different from middle school. It connects not only adolescence to adulthood, but also the ivory tower to the real society. Therefore, the ideal University life is that I become matured both physically and mentally, and that I obtain qualified academic knowledge and get well prepared for society at the same time.

Under this circumstance, I never expect my University life to be too ideal, or you can call it too perfect. It is not realistic to make all things on my own way, with everyone liking me, winning the first prize all the time, and so on. Of course, I’d like to lead a carefree life. However, this does little good to my future. What really helps is hardships like failure, betrayal, and unjust treatment. Only after experiencing those can I know what society is like, and what life is like.

To conclude my speech, I wanna say, some positive experiences are surely part of the ideal University life. But, I should not forget about the negative sides. They are not less necessary.
