Mr. Lee is my English teacher, and is thirty. He likes sports very much, so he looks strong and young. He is fond of singing too. When we feel tired in the class, he will teach us some English songs. Sometimes he tells us some funny stories. He often encourages us to speak and write in English. 一切从出行开始，我出门尽量少坐出租车，距离短的就步行，距离长的就坐公交车。我发现，一段时间后，我既节省了路费，又锻炼了身体，真可谓两全其美。

接着，就要从节水做起了。我尽量用洗衣水来清洁马桶、拖地……每次喝水，我会记着要喝多少就接多少水，绝不多接，节约饮用水资源。慢慢的，我发现，地拖得越来越干净，连我都能照的出来了。

最后，就是节电了。一到晚上，我们家就灯火通明，每个房间的灯都开着，有时，电视机前没有人，电视依旧开着，浪费了不少电。我告诉爸爸妈妈，离开房间后要随手关灯。不看电视时，记得将电视关闭，并且少用电脑。在白天，能不开灯，就不要开灯。我们一家人都那么做，我相信，我们家的电费一定会少不少的。两个月后，妈妈再去交电费时，发现少了好几度电呢!

since last summer, i have written to my pen pal, seda, who lives in turkey. i became acquainted with her when i went to england for a study tour.

we stayed with the same family, and she was my roommate and classmate as well. sometimes we went to the movies together after dinner. seda is very easy to get along with. i will always remember the two weeks i spent with her. we didnt forget each other and kept writing to each other after we returned home. although i havent seen her again since i left england, i still know how she is through letters, cards and photographs. seda tells me her secrets and also shares her happiness and sadness with me . both of us hope that we will meet each other somewhere one day.

maybe ill go to turkey to visit her, or shell come to taiwan to visit me.
