I had a great Chinese New Year.On the first day of the Chinese New Year,my parents and I visited my grandparents.They own a large ranch in the countryside,surrounded by corn fields and green pastry.It’s a very beautiful ranch and the air is very clean.I helped my grandparents feed the chicken and groom the horses.I really like horses and I spent quite some time riding them along the river for several miles.I enjoyed a lot at my grandparents’home.

Kapok isthe city flower of Guangzhou. It is straight trunk. The kapok flower is red. it is very beautiful. It open in cold weather like a hero. The kapok flower can eat, and it is a medicine. I like kapok very much. Do you like it ?

My favorite pet is a dog, it is called XX, it is very small, very short limbs, yellow skin, beautiful eyes, black nose, long ears.

It is very cute and smart, and always will make us happy, So we all like it. The only thing that is always bite shoes. makes me very angry, and this is my favorite pet.

我的小狗叫贝贝，是我给它取的名字，因为它是我的宝贝。它才断奶的时候就被我带回家了，它的额头上有一cuo(撮)毛，是一个桃心的形状，妈妈说它是能带来福气的宝贝。

贝贝很乖，早上起来的时候爸爸会给它泡牛奶喝，它就乖乖的在盆子边上咕噜咕噜的喝起来，喝完嘴巴旁边就会有一圈奶白色的毛，我就会拿纸帮它擦干净。我放学回家的时候它会跑过来抱着我的大腿，汪汪的叫，非常可爱的样子。

我们大家都把贝贝当做一家人了，我们都很爱它。我觉得动物是人类最好的朋友，我们要善待他们。

从我家向远处眺望，有一片小树林，其中有几棵树形态各异，会让人产生丰富的联想。

先说最靠右的那棵吧，它的形状就像一只猴子的脸。鼻子、嘴、耳朵等五官清晰可见，就连一根根的毛发也仿佛能看得清清楚楚。再依次向左看，第二棵树就像“万”字的轮廓。草字头明显，中间枝繁叶茂，最下面的枝杈稀疏，正好与“万”字中间挤两头松的字形匹配。以“万”再向左的一棵树则像是一根剥了一半的玉米。玉米粒闪闪发光，玉米皮嫩绿诱人，使看见的人迫不及待地想咬上一口。再往左，满身是刺的刺猬跳出来了。长长的尖刺，尖尖的鼻子，小小的嘴巴，刺猬所有的特征都被显现出来。最后一棵树就像一只躲在树丛后面的梅花鹿。它注视着正前方，斜着身子，靠着树丛，活像一只真正的鹿。就在我欣赏这些美景时，我又有了新发现：我看到一排树竟然组成了世界上最大的单体岩石——澳大利亚的艾尔斯岩石的样子。大自然真是太奇妙了。

通过这次观察，我发现自然界中蕴含着各种各样的美丽，等待着我们去发现。今后一定要更仔细地观察，发现自然界的美景。

Nowadays, people prefer to travel by air. This is because air travel has

some advantages. First of all, airplane, the miracle created by man, is the

fastest means of transport. It takes the least time for one to travel by air

from one place to another. Besides,travelingby air is convenient and

comfortable. Friendly air hostesses are affectionate and considerate. They look

after passengers all the way to their destinations. In addition, on long

distance flights there are films and music for people to entertain

themselves.

As a popular saying goes, "Everything has two sides." The same is true of

air travel. It has some disadvantages, too. For one thing, air travel is

expensive. The average Chinese are not rich enough to afford expensive air

fares. So they prefer to take trains, which save a lot of money. For another,

although passengers are assured of their safety, they are still worried about it

during the journey because flying always involves more or less risk.

As far I am concerned, the advantages mentioned above exceed the

disadvantages. If I were given choice between traveling by air and by train, I

would certainly prefer the former, especially the long distance journey, because

time is the most important thing I have to take into consideration whatever I

do.

Its September. Autumn is coming.But where is autumn?I am told that the sky looks higher with few clouds in autumn.I raise my head and look at the sky. It makes no difference with the sky in summer.And trees around are still green.Then I come to the fields. I find the corn in the ear.
