小狗经常到院子里来玩，姥姥种的月季花可漂亮了，小狗一定是喜欢这些艳丽的花，把他们抓的稀巴烂。因此，妈妈没少打它，这时我就护着他，跟妈妈说：“妈妈，别打它了，它也是一个生命呀！如果他可以说话，一定会为自己抱不平的，同样是喜欢花，为什么待遇不同呢？妈妈，别打了，请把动物看成朋友。这样，你就不会对它这样反感了。你也一定会喜欢它的。”

小狗啊小狗，虽然你只是一个动物，但在我心里，你早已成为我的朋友了。

我喜欢我家的小狗，因为它可爱，尽职和乖巧。它的棕毛和白毛相间在一起，灵敏的鼻子和它的顺风耳合成了拥有一技之长的它，总能警觉起来，为家报“效”。

我家的小狗十分可爱，常常用低沉的叫声和那无辜的眼神望着我，令我心酸。有时它因为外婆太晚喂饭，所以在大厅门口等着，张开舌头左顾右盼，好像在说：“哪里有饭吃啊？我都快饿死了！”小狗玩耍时，总在院子里乱跑，偶尔还会在地上打滚，可爱极了！

你别看小狗它爱玩，它可是一个非常尽职的“警察”，而且它拥有完善的警察装备—就是神通广大的鼻子和耳朵。当陌生人去到我家时，总是用“警告声”向你狂叫，像是在说：“你是谁，为什么来这里？快出去！”当有熟悉的客人来到我家时，他总是吐出舌头，翘起尾巴向你问好或欢迎：“欢迎来到这里！”没有人时，小狗总是昂首挺胸，在院子里转圈。一看，就知道是个尽职的警察！

我的家小狗有时很乖巧。他总是跑到你身旁，用头上的毛“摸”你的腿，你会感到暖和多了！又或者围着你转一圈，然后用后腿蹬着地和你比高。但有时乖巧到蹲在地上，一声不出。然后睡觉，如果它睡觉了，就会乖乖地蹲在这里，直到天亮。
