A staff member read an article in an English women’s magazine about knitting for guillemot birds and decided to adapt the designs.

公共汽车沿着弯弯曲曲的山路开到了缆车站。登上缆车，很快就悬于空中。山和亭子都在脚下。然后，我们来到了十王峰下，这是九华山所有山峰中最高的一个。那条捷径很陡，十分难爬，只有少数勇敢者走这条路。跟着导游，我手脚并用爬了起来。这是体力和意志的考验。

导游不断提醒我们爬山不看景。山中狭窄的台阶引导我们步步登高。直到山顶。停下来喘气时，我看到蜡烛石和倚天独立的松树。

爬山在继续，我不由得想起盘山开道的劳动者。他们的劳动多么有意义啊!我们终于到了山顶。但见松鼠跳跃着欢迎我们的到来，云雾自山下腾涌而起。站在高处往下一看，一切尽收眼底。多么壮观，令人启迪。

Today were going to visit Stanford university, a very old university, and its recognized as one of the worlds most distinguished universities.

Our bus stopped at Stanford university, and I saw an antique building. All the way forward, the building that was built of stone, though made of stone, was built very fine, with different patterns engraved on it. It was then that I was attracted by a church building, whose metope was a beautiful picture of more than 20,000 pieces of Mosaic, which is the memorial church of Stanford university. At Stanford, there is no lack of sophistication, and even the flowers and plants are so finely manicured that, on a large lawn, the flowers and plants are pruned into a big Stanford university logo.

At Stanford, one hour at a time, we had to be reluctant to say goodbye to her. This famous university has given me so much hope that I can go to this university when I grow up.

From a middle class family, I was born in Hsin Ying, Tainan on October 10th, 1965. My father is a civil official at Tainan City Government. My mother is a house wife good at cooking. The Chinese characters for the hunt and the twelfth month were interchangeable then, and ever since la has been used to refer to both. Since the festival was held on the eighth day of the last month, people later appended the number eighth , giving us the current laba.

Buddhism was well accepted in the areas inhabited Han Chinese, who believed that Sakyamuni, the first Buddha and founder of the religion, attained enlightenment on 12/8. Sutras were chanted in the temples and rice porridge with beans, nuts and dried fruit was prepared for the Buddha. With time the custom extended, especially in rural areas where peasants would pray for a plentiful harvest in this way.

There is, however, another touching story. When Sakyamuni was on his way into the high mountains in his quest for understanding and enlightenment, he grew tired and hungry. Exhausted from days of walking, he passed into unconsciousness by a river in India. A shepherdess found him there and fed him her lunch.

I am proud of myself. Because I can get perfect scores in Chinese, math and English. It is not good enough, I am also proud of being an elder brother. That is a Friday evening, my baby brother was crying all the time. My parents were both cooking for dinner. I said to my mum, let me look after this little thing. One is yellow. the other is white. they are very lovely. the yellow cat is very naughty. He likes to play with people. He often runs here and there. His favourite game is playing with balls, ropes and stones.

But the white cat is very gentle. She likes to wash her face.

And she doesn′t like to play with people. She often jumps onto my knees. I like to give her a bath.

Oh, my baby cats bring me much happiness. We are very good friends. I love them.
