我的家乡不但物产丰富，气候宜人，而且是一个旅游胜地。有全国著名的四大避暑胜地之一鸡公山，有全国独一无二的僧尼同寺的灵山寺，还有天然温泉疗养胜地汤泉池。有精忠报国、孝敬父母的将军——许世友之墓等。

我的家乡在高邮。高邮有许许多多的名胜古迹，其中，美丽的高邮湖就是十分有名的观光景点，那里时不时就会传来几声清脆的鸟鸣声。

高邮湖是我国第六大淡水湖，烟波浩淼，物产丰富，有大虾、有螃蟹、还有各种各样的鱼类……呀，那边有一个小伙子正拿着一张网向湖面洒去，嘿，一收网，一只只大虾被捞出了水面，这大虾活灵活现，摇摆着两根长须，活像戏台上的一员武将，可惜，这武将成了俘虏，再神气不起来了。看，那边一个老爷爷正在湖边钓鱼呢，不一会儿，一条大鲤鱼“蹦”出水面，湖面溅起了晶莹的水珠。老爷爷抚摸着花白的胡须，不禁连声赞叹：“真是条好鱼!”
