Christmas is one of the most important celebrations of the year for the western countries. it falls on the twenty- fifth of december and has the same importance as chinese new year to people with english backgrounds. the celebration is for the birth of jesus christ, who is the son of god in christianity. now days christmas is no longer only celebrated by the christians, but by most people from all over the world.

On the twenty- fourth of december everyone gets excited for it’s the day before christmas which is called christmas eve. the children are usually sent to bed early and are warned that “santa claus will only come and give you a present if you be good.” the younger kids actually believe that santa will come down the chimney on the sleigh that’s pulled by his reindeers. food like short bread and beer are prepared for santa when he comes, however most times parents just eat them. some children put socks and sacks up for the holding of the presents (that their parents put in).

My teacher gave me an assignment experience life last week. I had been thinking how to finish it because I had never done any thing by myself before.

Mother was out today. It was a good chance to complete the assignment. Seeing the barrel was empty, I decided to fetch water from the well.

I took the empty barrel and went towards the well outside the yard. It snowed yesterday, so the alley was very slippery. A layer of thickice was frozen on the platform of the well. I was frightened by the sight, but I gathered my courage to walk towards it.

The alley was so slippery that I walked with difficultly. Suddenly, I slipped and fell down, water in the barrel totally poured down on the ground. I stepped on the platform carefully. After standing steadily and squatting down slowly, I hooked the barrel at the end of the rope and put the rope down slowly. I made an effort to drag the barrel up after it was filled with water. I was very careful because it was easy to slip and fall. Then, I carried the barrel of water and returned to my house. My figners were frozen stiff. I realized my effort was in vain. I hated myself.

I failed to finish the assignment but I did experience life through a trifle which seemed easy but difficult to do well. Such was my first experience of life.

如果一味地只是想着自己，而不去尊重他人感受的话，那么会产生很多本不必要的冲突。也许是和你的同学因为一些芝麻小事争执起来，用语言伤害对方，像这样相互之前的不尊重，往往会导致小事变大，最终导致同学关系破裂。像这样为了逞一时的口头之快，伤害了对方，最终使得自己失去了一个好同学，其实最后受伤难过的还是自己。

而如果尊重了你的同学，理解他的想法，两人互相尊重，互相理解，用交流消除隔阂，那么同学关系不但不会破裂，反而会更加融洽，这样自己也能以更快乐的心情来学习。

生活中处处需要尊重：老师与学生互相尊重，老师可以感到工作的快乐，而学生可以感到获知识的快乐;父母与孩子互相尊重，父母可以感受到孩子日益成才的快乐，而孩子可以感受到被父母呵护的快乐;同学之间互相尊重，大家可以感受到收获友情的快乐……像这样人人都相互尊重，收获属于自己的快乐，那么世界的色彩将会更鲜明。

尊重老师，应该把老师放在心上

提到尊重老师，有点说来惭愧，因为我一直觉得见到老师说老师好，老师再见，就是尊重老师，但其实不是这样的。平时在上课的时候我经常会睡觉，而且从来没有上课做笔记的习惯，老师布置的任务我也不能按时完成，所以我觉得我没有做到真正的尊重老师。

真正的尊重老师是要把老师放在心上，在内心要把老师放在重要的位置上。所以在上课的时候我要做到上课不睡觉，去主动配合老师的教学，而这也是一个学生最基础的要求。在老师上课讲重点的时候我一定要记下来，这样也是对老师的尊重，更是对自己学习的负责。除此之外还有老师的作业也要尽快完成，不能拖沓，做到这些才是真正的尊重老师，在教师节的时候我也会为老师准备贺卡，以表达我的尊重和感谢之情。

In current society, people have known the importance of keeping healthy and good life habit. In the past, people ate three meals at home, and they ate more vegetables and less meat and fish. They were very strong and seldom went to see doctors.

Now life is better, people eat more meat, fish, eggs and other food with more fat. They often go out for good meals with their families and friends. But they get easy to be ill, Why?

I think more meat and fish, less exercise are bad for health. Good rest, less meat and fish, more vegetables and enough exercise are good for health. So I exercise every day. My eating habits are pretty good. I eat a lot of vegetables. I eat fruit and drink milk every day. I drink a cup of water 15 minutes before each meal and eat much vegetables and fruit. Of course, I love junk food, too, and I eat it once a week. And I sleep nine hours every day.

What do I want to do when Im older? Someone wants to be a doctor. Someone wants to be a basketball player because they are good at sport. Someone wants to be a writer and to make the writing. Someone wants to be a teacher because they like teaching children.

I like playing the piano and I good at it. So I want to become a piano player. Play the piano is very interesting. And you can learn something of music. Piano can make you like music. A lot of musician and singer are love playing piano.

I play the piano when Im ten years old. Now Im in grand five. I hope when Im sixteen years old , I can become grand eight. Ill be harder and harder to practise.
