and collect different opinions. At first, I felt it a difficult task, because I

second, then I started to talk with them in a comfortable way. I felt much eased

soon and no longer felt shy. Now I get over my fear and become stronger. This is

我的画龄几乎和我的学龄一样长(幼儿园可不算学龄的哦)。

那年的九月(2007年)，我踏入了学校的大门，成为了一名小学生。同年十月的一个星期六的早上，妈妈领着我走进了张莲画室，开始学画画，从此，我又成为了张老师的一名学生。

刚开始的时候，张老师先教我们从最基本的画起，用水彩笔、油画棒先画一些想象画。想象画，就是老师出一个题目，我们在纸上凭自己的想象随意的画。握着比自己手指头还要粗、还要长的水彩笔、油画棒，我在纸上笨拙的画出了一张张看起来不是十分好看的画。

一年过去了(我上二年级了)，我画的画在我看来和我们画画班同学相比还是有一定的差距，再加上我又开始增加了英语这门课外课程，这样，星期六、星期天留给我玩的时间很少了。为了能有更多的玩耍的时间，我有了想要放弃学画画的想法，于是我去和妈妈商量，可是没有取得妈妈的同意。我只能继续下去了。慢慢地，我的画画水平也有了很大的进步，再加上老师又开始教我们水粉画了，我的兴趣就又有了。这一坚持就一直到现在。

现在的我已经非常的喜欢画画了。你们看，一件东西，一样物品，在我的画笔下已经能够被很好的展现出来了。

至于画画能够学到什么时候结束我也不知道，但是只要我喜欢、只要我能够坚持下去，我想我会一直不断的学下去的。

在严肃的训练场，我们每个同学都英姿飒爽，没有丝毫的矫揉造作，有的是铁的纪律，钢的意志。俗话说，“流血流汗不流泪，掉皮掉肉不掉队”，这句格言已成为我的座右铭。这里的集体意识很强，做什么都和队友一起，生活在一起，训练在一起，包括受罚也一起。服从命令是军人的天职，不管多苦、多累，不管任务有多难，只要教官发出指令，必须做到，并且要全力以赴做到最好。

军训的五天，留下了很多难忘的回忆，它们像电影一样一帧一帧地出现在我眼前。在烈日炙烤的足球场上，火辣辣的阳光直接照射在我们的身上。我们抬起头，挺起胸，一动不动地站着。热气不断从地上冒起，脚底又酸又麻又热，豆大的汗珠顺着我们的脸颊流淌下来，没一个人敢擦，因为没有命令。现在想着，虽然很辛苦，但何尝不是一种快乐、一种充实？

“逝者如斯夫，不舍昼夜。”五天的训练转眼成了回忆，这期间我们付出了辛劳和汗水，得到的确是宝贵的人生财富。我把自己比作是一把待铸的剑，只有经过艰苦的磨砺才能成就利剑，军训就是一种磨砺。

一个人只有坚忍不拔的毅力、坚强的意志，才能迎接更大的挑战，才能成就更好的自己，这是军训告诉我的。

"Yeah, right. It isn’t that easy." I protested.

"Yes it is, " Michael said. "Life is all about choices. When you cut away

all the junk, every situation is a choice. You choose how you react to

situations. You choose how people will affect your mood. You choose to be in a

good mood or bad mood. The bottom line is: It’s your choice how you live life. "

I reflected on what Michael said.

Soon thereafter, I left the big enterprise that I had worked in for years

to start my own business. We lost touch, but I often though about him when I

made a choice about life instead of reacting to it. Several years later, I heard

Michael was involved in a serious accident, falling off 60 feet from a

communications tower.

After l8 hours of surgery, and weeks of intensive care, Michael was

released from the hospital with rods placed in his back. I saw Michael about six

months after the accident. When I asked him how he was, he replied, "If I were

any better, I’d be twins. Wanna see my scars?" I declined to see his wounds, but

did ask him what had gone through his mind as the accident took place.

"The first thing that went through my mind was the well being of my

soon-to-born daughter," Michael replied. "Then, as I lay on the ground,

remembered I had two choices: I could choose to live or I could choose to die. I

chose to live." "Weren’t you scared? Did you lose consciousness?" I asked.

Michael continued, "... the paramedics were great. They kept telling me I was

going to be fine. But when they wheeled me into the operation room and I saw the

expressions on the faces of the doctors and nurses, I got really scared. In

their eyes, l read ’He’s a dead man.’ I knew I needed to take action." "What did

you do?" I asked. "Well, there was a big burly nurse shouting questions at me”

said Michael. "She asked me if I was allergic to anything. ‘Yes,’ I said. The

doctors and nurses stopped working as they waited for my reply. I took a deep

breath and yelled", ‘Gravity’” Over their laughter, I told them, ’I’m choosing

to live. Operate on me as if I am alive, not dead’."

Michael lived, thanks to the skill of his doctors, but also because of his

amazing attitude. I Learned from him that every day we have a choice to live

fully. Attitude is everything.
