说起2018年，最让我自豪的不是舞蹈比赛获一等奖，也不是期末考试成绩再次在年段名列前茅，而是因为我的坚持不懈，终于学会了游泳。

记得学习游泳的第一天，教练让我们学习憋气和换气：先深吸一口气，然后把整个头钻进水里憋气，几秒钟后到水上张嘴换气，再把头钻进水中，一直循环……我看着教练的示范，也有模有样地学了起来，可是每次都因为张嘴换气太慢而呛到水。尽管努力练习了好几遍，可直到下课我都学不会。

回到家里，我气馁地对妈妈说：“游泳怎么那么难学啊?我不想学了!”妈妈听了，鼓励我说：“既然开始了，就要坚持!来，我们在家里练!”说完，妈妈端来一盆水放在我面前!我想：是啊，别人都能学得会，我为什么学不会呢?只要我坚持了，一定能学会的!于是，我对着脸盆一次次地练习憋气和换气。虽然误吞了好多水，可半个小时后，我竟奇迹般地掌握了憋气换气的要领。我高兴得手舞足蹈，心里第一次明白了“坚持”的意义。

第四天，在学蹬腿动作的时候我又遇到了困难。教练让我们趴在池边，后脚掌向外翻开，然后用力往后一蹬，最后迅速把双腿夹在一起。我在岸上的时候明明练得很标准，可是一下水就手忙脚乱、不知所措，始终不能前进一步，只能在原地打转，稍不留神还呛了一肚子水，弄得我眼泪鼻涕一涌而出。我很沮丧，心里想：“该死的游泳，我恨你!不学了，不学了!”

我真想拍拍屁股直接回家了，可是看到泳池边耐心等待的妈妈，我突然想起了她对我说的话：“如果农民伯伯耕种时，嫌庄稼成熟太慢，把苗拔了，你还能吃到米饭吗?如果运动员们不刻苦练习，中途放弃了，在奥运赛场上还能看到他们英姿飒爽的身影吗?”于是我决定重整旗鼓，坚持学下去，我就不信学不好!凭着一股韧劲，我更加认真地观察老师的动作，在水下一遍一遍地练习。终于，工夫不负有心人，经过了几天的坚持练习，我掌握了“收、翻、蹬、夹”这几个动作的要领，并且很快学会了游泳。

宝剑锋从磨砺出，梅花香自苦寒来。2018年，因为坚持，我不但能在水里遨游了，而且在其它方面也收获满满：校运会跳远银牌、钢琴通过六级、舞蹈比赛第一、学习成绩名列年段前茅……2019年，我将用“坚持”再创佳绩。

received by many people. Chinese tea culture is both extensive and profound,

internet, they can get more information about the commodities they want to buy

Nevertheless, I’m not keen on online shopping at all, since most

In my eyes, I prefer traditional shopping, because I can choose what I

really need. Also, I can know the quality of every commodity more clearly. Even

if there’s something wrong with the commodities, I can still ask the sellers to

compensate for my loss.

Now, the new semester has begun for more than one week. I gradually adapt

to my new life in senior school. In senior school, my biggest feeling is busy,

for I have classes all the day and teachers leave us a lot of homework. In the

morning, I have two periods for morning reading, Chinese and English, beginning

from 7:00. After that, I have four periods in the morning and four other in the

afternoon. There are many more subjects than in middle school, Chinese, math,

English, physics, chemistry, history and so on. Sometimes, I am afraid of seeing

so many textbooks in my desk. In addition, the contents are much more difficult

than before. Math and physics are the most difficult ones for me. No matter how

hard I work, I still can’t do well in them, which makes me frustrated.

Therefore, in the new beginning, I must change my learning strategies to make my

work more effective. All in all, my new life in new school is good and rich,

though it’s busy.

还记得那天是个好日子，阳光灿烂，风清云淡，谁要是在这样的日子里边晒太阳，边做着白日梦，未免太不合时宜。或话大自然有所不知：在春天之前安排了一个被人视为死寂的冬季，让人多一点惆怅，期待和考验，对于鸟类，恐怕也是如此吧。

这儿有两只叫做唧唧和喳喳的麻雀的故事，或许对比那些高级许多的“麻雀”亦有所启示吧!

两只麻雀出生的季节正是姹紫嫣红的春季，到处一派勃勃生机，到处都有野生的小浆果以及其他可以填饱肚子的食物，可谓寝食无忧，逍遥自在，到了夏天，比起春天的果食更是丰盛，此时的唧唧喳喳酒足饭饱，饱食终日。到了秋天，四野金黄，硕果累累，他俩更是满腹稻糠，无所用心，此二人之间，惟有不同的是，每日饱饭之后，喳喳便懒于飞翔，只愿在高高的电缆线上，翘首昂视，作出一副气定神闲的姿态，看着那在天空中盘旋飞翔的唧唧、露出一种轻蔑怜悯的眼神。

转眼之间，冬季便至，满目之下，尽皆荒凉，更加上此地气候极寒，一至冬日便满天鹅毛大雪，令整个城市银装素裹，虽显分外妖娆，却着实百里之内，皆无生机。麻雀唧唧，喳喳的食物来源，突然变得窘迫起来。喳喳从来不飞翔，在如此严冬之中，顶着瑟瑟冬风，如何能够飞远。不久喳喳便叫住了又要起飞的唧唧：“你去吧，我在这个地方等你。”喳喳失去了再次展翅的信心，毅力和勇气，当然他早已没了这份实力。当唧唧回来时，喳喳已经一命呜呼了。

一只鸟只有在寒冬里不断飞行，才能避免冻死，几个月后，春季再次到来，到处吐露出生命的活力，花儿重新绽放出笑脸，一个人弯腰俯身触碰花儿的时候看见了一只冻死的小麻雀，又看见远处麻雀啄食的小浆果。

人们不要嘲笑那可怜的小麻雀!你不觉得吗?成功便是冬天的稻谷，何其稀罕之至，只有那些在平时懂得付出，做出了充分的准备，对他人不过于依赖，在逆境中奋力拼搏的人，才能找到成功的稻米，等到春回大地的那一刻。

人们用游戏人生心态去对待每一件事，信誓旦旦地说着永远无法实现的承诺，任凭个人意愿做事，不愿承受任何压力，一遇挫折就退却……这又何来所谓的收获呢!

洞悉了付出的珍贵后所取得的收获才尤为可贵，必竟成功的机遇，对于每个人都是公正的。

大家下午好！

我叫罗瑞荣，今年11岁了。这次我获得了“全年级小学生踢毽子大赛”一等奖，感到既开心又自豪。

在这里我要感谢我的爸爸和妈妈，是他们给我在温馨的家里也创造了运动的环境，让我更好的练习踢毽子；感谢我所在的班级，是班级给了我这次参赛的机会；感谢教我踢毽子的李老师，是他精心指导我怎样踢好每一下；感谢我的同学，是他们一直在支持我，鼓励我，谢谢你们。

我从一个踢毽子的“菜鸟”成长为一个获得“全年级小学生踢毽子大赛”的一等奖的“踢毽子小能手”。这是经过长时间的努力和坚持。

开始的时候，我无数次想放弃，我是多么希望像别的同学一样课余时间可以快活的玩耍。而我必须每天抽出固定的时间练习踢毽子。起初我只能踢几十个，我就像一个还没有完全学会走路的小孩，东倒西歪的尝试走快。所幸，我用毅力战胜了自己。日复一日的练习，一滴一滴的汗水，几十个，上百个，几百个……最终，毽子好像长在我脚上一样，若不限制时间的话，我想踢多少个就能踢多少个。在全年级小学生踢毽子比赛中，我轻而易举的拿到了一等奖。我想：这是由于前期的不断努力，才有了比赛取胜的毫无悬念。是的，我胜利了。

这个过程让我明白了“一份耕耘，一份收获”的道理。获得比赛胜利的我很想和同学们说，在以后的生活中，无论遇到什么困难，我们都要勇敢去克服，坚持不懈并最终战胜它。

最后，让我们坚信，只要付出就会有回报。让我们一起携手努力，收获成功。

It has been two years since I first got to university. Some of my

classmates say that the college life is boring, because they have plenty of time

but do not know what to do. However, from my point of view, the campus life in

college is interesting and colorful as long as you make it meaningful.

In the first semester in college, I didnt relax and I still worked hard as

I was in the senior school. I usually spent two hours in study at night and I

went to the classroom forautonomous learning.But the difference is that I have

many extracurricular activities. For example, I went to the English Corner

regularly on Tuesday night, in which I could practice my spoken English and make

friends with common interests.

Besides, I join the Student Union of my department. In the Student Union, I

have a group of workmates who work hard together and support to each other.

Actually, it looks like a big, warm family that we can share our lives together.

During various activities, I realize the importance of team spirit that helps us

go further.

Finally, college is great stage to improve a student and show ones

abilities. In college, I know more about our society and get more channels to

explore the outside world. I realize that I am not only a student but also an

adult who is preparing to step into the society.

In short, I cherish my life in college campus and I will try hard to make

it colorful as well as meaningful.

Most smokers are males, because they need to smoke for social communication

or for set themselves free from the pressure. In the packaging, we can find that

every packaging has written the words that smoking is harmful to health. Though

smokers know it, they ignore it. For the harmony of the family, people should

quit smoking.

To quit smoking is not easy, people know smoking does harm to their health,

but they just can’t resist the temptation and then start to smoke again, so they

must have strong will. They must tell themselves that smoking not only does harm

to their health, but also does harm to their families. The families will have

much chance to take in the second-hand cigarette, in order to keep the families

healthy, smokers must have the strong will to quit smoke.

When people find it hard not to smoke, their mouth will feel uneasy, they

want to smoke again. At that time, people can find some food or fake cigarette

to take place of the real cigarette, in the long time, they will have less

desire to smoke.

上个星期天，我参加了中德国际小提琴比赛，虽然这件事已经过去很久，但我的耳畔还不时传来一阵阵优美的琴声，令我难以忘怀。

回想起赛前艰苦的训练，坚持每天练一小时以上的小提琴，为了这次比赛我牺牲了许多玩耍、休息的时间，力求每一个动作，每一个音符，每一个节奏做到完美。即使每天练习，但总会有差错，还因此被妈妈批评，可我并没有放弃练习，直到比赛那天。

“6188号请上场”，听到评委老师叫号的声音，终于轮到我上场，我不禁紧握手中的小提琴，身上直冒冷汗，心怦怦直跳，腿微微发抖，心里忐忑不安：要是没有拉好肯定会被别人嘲笑的，我该怎么办呢？这时看见妈妈从椅子上站起来向我挥手，给予我鼓励的眼神，我标准的鞠了一躬，用坚定的眼神看向评委，深呼一口气，缓缓的抬起小提琴，开始我的演奏。可爱的音符宝宝伴随着优美的旋律畅游在音乐的海洋里……不知不觉一曲终了，余音绕梁，我感受到前所未有的快乐，这是音乐带给我的感受，也是劳动带来的收获。

星期二，妈妈帮我查询了比赛成绩，我以84分获得了二等奖，我感到无比自豪，虽然练琴辛苦，但坚持不懈总会有收获。

“明天早晨我们就要举行美食大会了?”曾老师话音刚落，我们那排山倒海的欢呼声便闻风赶来。“叮——”那清脆的铃声传入耳中，同学们一边收拾书包，一边三五个一群地谈论起来：“明天你做什么好吃的?”“还没想好。”“我做青椒炒肉!”“我做西红柿炒蛋!”“我做。”我在同学们叽叽喳喳的谈论声中开始搞卫生。我边扫边想：我到底做什么?炒个肉?不行，太平常!做个土豆丝?不行，太单调!唉，那到底做什么呀!我心不在焉的，与其他组员扫完地后回家。

回到家，我心中还是想不到要做什么。这时，敲门声响起，是妈妈回来了!我赶紧跑去开门，想让妈妈来帮我想想。我对妈妈说了我的难处。妈妈听了，不愁反笑。她说：“你这小鬼头，这下想起妈妈来了!嘻嘻，其实我早就准备好，连菜都买好准备与你一起开工呢!”她停了会儿，见我要插话便又接了起来：“我买了火腿、圆青豆、玉米、黄瓜和鹌鹑蛋。我的想法是这样的：先将玉米煮熟，冷会儿后用手将玉米粒一条条用手掰下来，再把火腿切成小圆片，用刀在上在划几条小口子，这样火腿炒时就会变成咧开嘴开口笑的小娃娃般。”“然后削下几条黄瓜皮围在饭盒旁做栅栏，不错吧!”我插嘴道。“不错!Verygood!”妈妈赞了我一个。事不宜迟，马上开工!

妈妈迅速将玉米放进蒸锅里，便过来与我一起切火腿。一下，两下，三下，“嘻嘻，三片可爱的小圆火腿出世了!”我心里喜滋滋的。可将刀拿起来一看，却让我的心跌入谷底，一片薄到似乎用手指轻轻一点就会破，一片只剩下一个半圆，另一个却厚到如一块肥肉一般。哎，我的技术有这么差吗!不行，我要坚持!我右手有力地拿起刀，十分细致地一刀刀切下，几个回合下来，好多了!虽还是有些不齐，但也不会碎了。嗯，继续努力!我鼓励着自己，不一会儿，一根根火腿就切成了一个个可爱的小脸蛋。“现在，要让他们都--开口笑”!我小心翼翼地在五个小脸上划着口子，嘿!别说还真像!如果不仔细看还真以为是一个娃娃在对你咧嘴笑呢，看着那些可爱的娃娃们，我也情不自禁要笑了起来。那笑声，多么清脆，多么让人难以忘怀!那笑容，多么可爱，多么让人心震撼!它们已融为一体，永不分开。

清晨早早起来，开始了最后一步工作，也是最难的一步——炒菜。这道工序，妈妈可是老手，可我就是想自己试试。首先，放一些油，将火腿倒了进去，“唰”的一声，油炸起来了，我身子往后一躲，才逃过一劫。再翻炒几下，我右手笨拙地前后炒着，呀，有一块烧焦了!啊，有一块被我炒烂了!噢!有一块掉出来滚在地上了!一连串麻烦正在袭击!可我并未放弃，还是顶了上去，炒了了一盘虽焦但香的火腿。最后还是妈妈大厨出马了，菜手们一下就妥协了，才不像我炒时那样死缠烂打呢!

看着那美味的菜，我的口水都快流出来了，禁不住尝尝，还真香。但?取个什么名字好呢?咦，就叫美食乐园好了!因为有红、绿、白、黄这几种颜色，代表着多种性格，有这些性格的我们在乐园里玩耍，嗯?就美食乐园!妈妈说不错。我高兴极了，但又为另一件事烦恼，将食物摆成什么样呢?这样太单调了。“我们这样放好不好?”妈妈突然对我说：“我们将玉米粒、火腿、豆豆铺在底层，将五个鹌鹑蛋摆成花朵的形状，中间再放一块火腿做点缀，怎样?”“太棒了!”我惊叹道，随即开始了摆设。“哇，好漂亮!”我与妈妈叫道。就像一个美丽的大花园展现在我们面前一般。“孩子，你可有口福了!”妈妈拍了拍我的屁股说道。我们俩一起笑了起来，笑声回荡在房间里，久久不散?

我小心翼翼地捧着我和妈妈精心合作的“美食乐园”来到学校。“美食乐园”“闪亮登场”!同学们纷纷来品尝，不一会儿就一扫而光了。

看着空空的盘子，我笑了，心中像吃了蜜一样甜。

There are many different beliefs about the origin of the Lantern Festival.

But one thing for sure is that it had something to do with celebrating and

cultivating positive relationship between people, families, nature and the

higher beings they believed were responsible for bringing/returning the light

each year.

One legend tells us that it was a time to worship Taiyi, the God of Heaven

in ancient times. The belief was that the God of Heaven controlled the destiny

of the human world. He had sixteen dragons at his beck and call and he decided

when to inflict drought, storms, famine or pestilence upon human beings.

Beginning with Qinshihuang, the first emperor to unite the country, all the

emperors ordered splendid ceremonies each year. The emperor would ask Taiyi to

bring favorable weather and good health to him and his people. Emperor Wudi of

the Han Dynasty directed special attention to this event. In 104 BC, he

proclaimed it as one of the most important celebrations and the ceremony would

last throughout the night. They clean it all up in the morning.

Another legend associates the Lantern Festival with Taoism. Tianguan is the

Taoist god responsible for good fortune. His birthday falls on the 15th day of

the first lunar month. It is said that Tianguan likes all types of

entertainment, so followers prepare various kinds of activities during which

they pray for good fortune.

Yet another common legend dealing with the origins of the Lantern Festival

speaks of a beautiful bird that flew down to earth from heaven, which was hunted

and killed by some villagers. This angered the Jade Emperor in Heaven because

the bird was his favorite one. Therefore, he planned a storm of fire to destroy

the village on the 15th lunar day. The Jade Emperors daughter heard of this

plan, and warned the villagers of her father’s plan to destroy their village.

The village was in turmoil because nobody knew how should they escape their

imminent destruction.

However, a wise man from another village suggested that every family should

hang red lanterns around their houses, set up bonfires on the streets, and

explode firecrackers on the 14th, 15th, and 16th lunar days. This would give the

village the appearance of being on fire to the Jade Emperor. On the 15th lunar

day, troops sent down from heaven whose mission was to destroy the village saw

that the village was already ablaze, and returned to heaven to report to the

Jade Emperor. Satisfied, the Jade Emperor decided not to burn down the village.

From that day on, people celebrate the anniversary on the 15th lunar day every

year by carrying red lanterns on the streets and exploding firecrackers and

fireworks.

There are many stories on how this festival was created. One other story is

about a maid. In the Han Dynasty, Mr. Eastern was a favorite advisor of the

emperor. One winter day, he went to the garden and heard a little girl crying

and getting ready to jump into a well to commit suicide. Mr. Eastern stopped her

and asked why. She said she was a maid in the emperors palace and her name was

Yuan-Xiao.

She never had the chance to meet her family after she started worked at the

palace. She missed them so much every 12th lunar month. If she couldnt have the

chance to show her filial piety in this life, she would rather die. Mr. Eastern

promised her to find a way so she could reunion with her family. Mr. Eastern

left the palace and set up a fortune-telling stall on the street and disguised

himself as a fortuneteller. Because of his reputation, many people asked for

their fortunes.

But every one got the same prediction - a severe fire accident on the 15th

lunar day. The rumor spread quickly. Everyone was worried about the future and

asked Mr. Eastern for help. Mr. Eastern said, "On the 13th lunar day, the God of

Fire will send a fairy lady in red to burn down the city. If you see a lady in

red wearing green pants riding a black horse on that day, you should ask for her

mercy." On that day, Yuan-Xiao pretended to be the red fairy lady. When people

asked for her help, she said, "Im the messenger of the God of Fire and came to

check on the city and Im going to set up fire on 15th. This is an order from

Jade Emperor. He will watch from the heavens.

I will give you a copy of the imperial decree from the God of Fire. You

should go to ask your emperor to find a way out." After she left, people went to

the palace to show the emperor the decree which reads "The capital city is in

trouble. Fire burns on the palace, and fire from Heaven burns all night long on

the 15th." The emperor of Han Dynasty was very shocked. He called and asked Mr.

Eastern for advice. After pondering for a while, Mr. Eastern said, "I heard that

the God of Fire likes to eat Tang-Yuan (Sweet dumpling). Does Yuan-Xiao often

cook Tang-Yuan for you? On the 15th lunar day, let Yuan-Xiao make Tang-Yuan.

Your Majesty will take charge of the worshipping ceremony and you will give

an order to every house to prepare Tang-Yuan to worship the God of Fire at the

same time. Also, deliver another order to ask every house in the city to hang

red lantern and explode fire crackers. Lastly, everyone in the palace and people

outside the city should carry their lanterns on the street to watch the lantern

decoration and fireworks. If everything goes this way, the Jade Emperor would be

deceived.

Then everyone can avoid the fire accident." The emperor happily followed

the plan. Lanterns were everywhere in the capital city on the night of the 15th

lunar day. People were walking on the street. Fire crackers kept making lots of

noise. It looked like the entire city was on fire. Yuan-Xiaos parents went into

the palace to watch the lantern decorations, and Yuan-Xiao made a big lantern

and wrote her name on the lantern. They happily reunited together after her

parents called her name. Everybody was safe during the night. The emperor of Han

Dynasty had a new order that people should do the same thing every year. Since

Yuan-Xiao cooked the best Tan-Yuan, people called the day Yuan-Xiao

Festival.

Young people were chaperoned in the streets in hopes of finding love.

Matchmakers acted busily in hopes of pairing couples. The brightest lanterns

were symbolic of good luck and hope. As time has passed, the festival no longer

has such implications.

Those who do not carry lanterns often enjoy watching informal lantern

parades. In addition to eating tangyuan (simplified Chinese: 汤圆; traditional

Chinese: 湯圓; pinyin: tāngyuán), another popular activity at this festival is

guessing lantern riddles (which became part of the festival during the Tang

Dynasty), which often contain messages of good fortune, family reunion, abundant

harvest, prosperity and love.

There is nothing complicated about eating a proper diet. For good health,

eat a variety of foods. Do not eat the same foods day after day! Foods should be

selected everyday from each of basic four. They are the four groups of food

essential to proper nutrition: the milk group, meat group, vegetable-fruit

group, and bread- cereal group, Your body will then be supplied with all the

nutrients it requires; they are water, minerals, carbohydrate, fats and oils,

proteins, and vitamins. A persons diet is determined by his attitudes, likes

and dislikes. If you eat foods from each of the basic four groups each day, you

will have a balanced diet.

What is art? When people think about this question, they will naturally

i am very glad to hear from you. you asked me about the change of school education in china. we are really happy about the changes called on to reduce learning load. before i had to study six days a week and i always went to bed after 11:30. i seldom had free time to do what i like. but now i have more spare time. i can read many interesting books, watch tv or even do some sports. and i never feel tired in the class as before, because i go bed at 10:00. all of my classmates are happy about this new arrangement of things.

I have a two months summerVacation. During the holiday, I was very happy,

because I did not have to focus on my study all the time. But I still spent some

time in my study. I want to learn more in the holiday. Besides, I spent a lot of

When I was younger , I went through an thing which deeply influence me.

One day,I went to school as Usually. All of a sudden,I heard a voice

crying.I knew there were something wrong . So I walked towards the direction of

the voice .Then I found a child and his mother wandered off.My heart full of

compassion . So I decided to help him find his mother , and I took him to the

police station nearby . Then I went to school in a hurry , but when I arrived,I

found I’m still late . After my teacher’s preaching , I went back to the

classroom .I was so upset.

In the afternoon, my teacher asked me go out,he said he had wronged me. And

then I saw the child’s mother,she thanked me a lot,and I smiled shyly.

After the thing,I feel very happy to do good things,and I believe that

“give cake and ale to perfect soul”.
