接下来，我们要在另一端锯出一个锤头。把铝条按一定的角度夹在机器里，我们就按画好的线开始锯。教室里顿时布满了锯子锯铝时刺耳的声音，“吱呀！吱呀……”无穷无尽的锯子声钻进了我的耳朵，还有同学锯的声音像青蛙叫。我手中的锯子也发出了尖锐的声响，不过这声音并不能阻止我们，大家都干得热火朝天。看到别的同学都十分顺利地慢慢向下锯，可我自己却在锯了一会儿之后总是停下来，把因为歪了而卡住的锯子拔出来，再费力地向下锯，一遍又一遍地重复这样的动作，我心急如焚。好几次，都是老师出手相助我才能继续向下锯。我在心里为自己喊着号子：一二一，一二一……加油，努力，你能行的！在一些快的同学已经做到最后一步的时候，我才锯好一个歪歪扭扭的锤头。不过，我还是松了一口气，至少锯好了。然后，我拿起锉子，把突出来或凹进去的地方锉平。有时候，我都快绝望了，这样锉要锉到什么时候？再锉下去都快锉没了！还好，老师大慈大悲，让我漫长的“锉子生涯”结束了。

parents’ work, they could only have one child at that time, so I don’t have any

siblings. I felt so lonely when my parents went out for their work. Now the

government changed their policy, people can have the second child. But some

people refuse because they think they can’t afford it. Despite the expense,

there are many advantages to have the second child. For one thing, the only

child can have someone company, so they won’t feel lonely on the process of

growing up. For another thing, two kids will help each other, they can share

Last week, our school held an activity to the nursing house to visit the

old people. I was so excited to be a volunteer, because it was my first time to

join such big activity. When we got there, the old people were so happy to see

us. They smiled all the time. We brought them some fruit and presents, and they

were so moved. When we chatted face in face, they talked about the old times and

the happiness they had. I thought about my grandparents, who lived in the

hometown. I should spend more time with them. Being a volunteer is such a
