And we can act in a play or make a speech or take part in the competition of singing. I enjoy myseff in those activities.

In this way, I can share stories with my new friendsand it also changes my horizons .When I’m sad, lost or in trouble, staying thelibrary makes me quiet and comfortable. After all, every life has bad momentsas well as good ones, and the library for me is a support in bad moments. So it’s wise choice for me to stay in thelibrary.

In short, mylife in university is busy but valuable. You can see that study brings me knowledge,student activities improve myself, library changes my horizons, the othersthings make me independent. They get all my abilities trained. And I see thatthe chance will come only if you have a prepared mind, so I’m sure that I canachieve my dreams in college life.

The Huang Mountain is a place of interest. here are lots of tourists seeing sights every day. Years ago, some of them paid no attention to environment protection. 树立远大理想，能够让我们战胜自身的缺陷与内心的怯懦。《孟子》有言：故天将降大任于斯人，必先苦其心志，劳其筋骨，饿其体肤，空乏其身，行拂乱其所为，所以动心忍性，所以动心忍性，增益其所不能。“这里面有赫赫有名的司马迁，他在遭受宫刑之后，不是寻死，而是将生命寄托在理想事业中，因为他要完成《史记》，《史记》就是他的理想。我们后来也知道，《史记》被鲁迅誉为：”史家之绝唱，无韵之离骚。“

树立远大理想，可以让我们明白自身的责任。妇孺皆知的是，周恩来总理自小就立下：”为中华之崛起而读书。“后来又多少人以他这句为座右铭。在那个动荡的时代，周总理树立的远大理想充满了对国家的责任。我们生活在一个和平安康的年代，这是无数鲜血换来的。所以当今的我们何尝不该像先人那样，担当起时代的责任，所谓”天下兴亡，匹夫有责。“

树立远大理想，能够让我们将个人理想与社会理想相统一，让我们找到存在感。每一个青年的前途离不开国家，没有国家的前途也就没有青年的前途。同时，一个国家的希望寄托在青年身上。”你所站立的那个地方，正是你的中国。你怎么样，中国便怎么样。你是什么，中国便是什么。你有光明，中国便不黑暗。“北影教授崔卫平所言正是一语道破青年是国家的希望。我们就该献身于理想，同时奉献于祖国。

春回大地，万物复苏，几场春雨过后山坡上，一棵小笋芽悄悄的来到了这个世界，它使劲顶破那湿润的春泥。“啊!

我终于出来啦!

”小笋芽高兴地说。它好奇地四处张望，发现它生活的世界是多么美丽：周围的竹子都非常友好，热情的欢迎小笋芽的到来;鸟儿欢唱，小虫在泥地里爬来爬去;野花开了，这一丛那一簇，虽然不多也不华丽但从骨子里透着一种沁人心脾的清香;嫩绿的小草当然少不了，它们住在竹子哥哥的脚下一阵春风吹来，还跳起舞来呢!

小笋芽看着这美丽的世界心里高兴极了。它问妈妈：“妈妈，妈妈，我们生活的地方真的太美了，太好玩儿了，以前这里也像现在这么美吗?”“哦，我的小宝贝，以前的日子可难过了……”半个世纪以前我们国家的百姓都还不富裕，特别是小山村的人们更是连最基本的生活的必需品柴米油盐都无法解决，为了生存人们不得不经常上山去砍竹砍柴或伐木，拿到市场上去卖以获取生活资料。原本郁郁葱葱的山林，被斩草除根变得光秃秃了，大片大片的空地被开垦都种上庄稼。裸露在不经意的眼帘前是一棵棵树桩一丛丛竹梢，他们似乎向人们诉说着他们曾经的辉煌。哪时的人们更本不知道自己肆虐砍伐着他们赖以生存的邻居会得到怎样的惩罚。雨季来临了因为没有我们这些植物的保护，几天几夜的暴雨稀释了干硬的泥土，冲走了庄稼。没错山洪暴发了。许多人在这次山洪中丧失了宝贵的生命。这是他们人类自作自受?这是报应?不!

不!

真正的罪魁祸首是贫穷。改革开放政策来了，欢欣鼓舞的人们可是八仙过海各显神通。一条条碗蜒的水泥公路在崇山峻岭中伸向各个小山村。盖房子都用上钢筋水泥了，老外婆坐在新房门前和一些邻居唠着嗑，一笑，眼角的皱纹便全部挤压在一起。看着新房屋顶上的太阳能，厨房里的液化气，卫生间里的热水器……富裕的生活方式让人们离开了赖以生存的土地走向了更广阔的天地。人们不再使用传统上木材竹子，做饭取暖建房，替代能源让我们山林变得更绿更茂盛更久长。国家又实施了封山肓林我们世世代代就一直生活在这里。原来是国家的好政策救了我们呀!

祖国妈妈谢谢你，是您让我长大成材，是您让我健康活泼，是您让我学会感恩。三月的下旬，小笋芽已经长的老高老高了，它没有忘记自己对大家的承诺，怎么个报恩法呀?小笋芽笑了笑，没有作答。你看在祖国热火朝天的建设工地上我们的父老乡亲，兄弟姐妹们一个个不甘示弱在烈日下在暴雨中贡献着自己的力量。这就是我的榜样也是我的理想。

We are always educated to be an honest person, especially to our parents. While the fact is that every kid will lie to their parents in their lives. For me, my parents are very strict, I am not allowed to go out at night, because the news always reports the bad incidents happen at night. But night activity attracts me a lot, and my friends like to hang out for fun at night, so I choose to lie to my parents and tell them I am doing my homework with my friends. Now as I grow up, I realize it is not right to tell lies, so I decide to be honest to my parents. Once they realize that I am not a little kid anymore, then I will have my right to do what I want.

There is a famous saying goes like that “Knowledge is a treasure, but practice is the key to it.” This saying shows the relationship between knowledge and practice vividly.

As far as we know, if we don’t have corresponding knowledge of some fields, we cannot do well in the fields. There are innumerable examples to illustrate this point. For instance, a singer can sing well only if he or she possesses musical knowledge; a dancer can dance well only if he or she knows how to dance; a worker can get the job well-done only if he or she is familiar with the basic principles of the job, and so on. But in turn, if we do not apply what we have known to practice, knowledge cannot play its role. For example, if we have learned different methods of cooking vegetables, but we do not cook, then the different methods of cooking vegetables do not produce value for us.

Therefore, if we do not have knowledge, we have nothing to practice, but if we have knowledge without putting it into practice, knowledge is of no avail. So we should acquire as much knowledge and put it into practice.
