一到无锡，我就迫不及待地第一个就先跑下了车。“扑通”一声，我莫名其妙地摔倒了。“是什么东西呀?”我自言自语地说。我站起来后一看，原来我踩到一块西瓜皮了。我想：无锡这种风景优美的旅游胜地怎么也有这种东西，真是不可思议哎。我抬头一看，眼前的景象更让我大吃一惊：马路上的汽车开得横七竖八，车尾还排放着有毒的尾气。马路上都是脏东西，清洁工也只能戴着面罩清洁。这里的空气也是浑浊的，把这种空气吸到鼻子里有种刺鼻的感觉。我和爸爸来到了摩天360的顶层。透过玻璃，我可以看到还有几家发电场在排放着滚滚浓烟呢!

此刻，我忽然想到：如果有一个卫生节的话，那该多好呀!那样的话，人们每到这个节日都会把自己家里和马路上打扫得干干净净，那样空气就会非常新鲜。

人生在世，常常有所偏爱。有的人好酒，有的人爱花。在蹉跎的岁月里，对烟情有独钟的人更是数不胜数。世纪伟人邓小平嗜烟如命，他不到16岁便开始抽烟。列宁也曾是吸烟者，据说他从17岁就染上这种习惯。伟大领袖毛泽东更是烟不离手，一天可以抽到5包之多。

据世卫组织统计，目前全球每年约有500万人因吸烟而死亡，烟草已成为继高血压之后的第二号“杀手”。如果不加以控制，到2020年每年吸烟致死的人数有可能增加一倍。同时，吸烟会增加心血管疾病和脑卒中的发病危险。与吸烟有关的疾病还有缺血性心脏病、口腔癌、咽喉癌、食道癌、呼吸道癌症、以及慢性支气管炎等。就算知道这些，相信很多人都会像邓小平一样，说：“正因为我的健康很好，才抽。听人说，抽烟还有好多好处。”我记得其中说可以增加税收，扩大就业率，等等。

话虽这样说，但事实是吸烟对邓公健康的损害，愈到晚年的时候愈明显， 一九八九年，邓公患了慢性气管炎，加上有点哮喘。亲人都劝他戒烟，医疗专家也从医学角度谈了戒烟的必要性。邓公听后说：“好，不抽了!”从此，他就再也没有抽了。邓公是“一国两制”的首创者，曾经多次表示香港回归祖国后要到香港走一走、看一看。他说：“我自己是争取活到一九九七年，要中国收回香港之后，到自己的土地上走一走、看一看。”他还说：“就是坐轮椅也要去，哪怕在香港的土地上站一分钟也好。”

可惜的是，一九九七年二月十九日，距香港回归祖国仅仅一百三十一天之际，他竟溘然长逝。别说不抽烟，只要早戒几年，他就可以到回归后的香港走一走、看一看了。如果当年邓公能去，港人该是多么开心，现在只能成了永远都不能弥补的遗憾。

美国《基督教教学箴言报》曾组织过一次题为《写给成年人看的童话》的征文，获得第一名的是《一支燃着的烟》，全文仅34个字：“一支冒着袅袅青烟的香烟，指着自己说：‘我是最好的直观教具，说明抽烟会缩短生命。’”各位，生命的长度好比您手中烟的长度，您贪婪的吸食正在加速火苗燃尽您和您周围的人的生命。

通过看电视、查资料，我明白了什么是低碳生活。低碳生活就是在我们的生活中尽量少排放二氧化碳。因为二氧化碳多了会使我们生活的空间环境变暖，也就是“温室效应”。我们生活的环境温度升高了，就会使南极的冰川融化成水，大量的水流到海里，会使海平面升高，可能就会淹没一些海岛国家上的居民。所以我们在日常生活中要减少二氧化碳的排放。具体到我们的生活中，就是要节约能源。

但是对于低碳生活，人们遭遇着类似的尴尬：知道保护环境的重要，也知道保护环境人人有责，但是，为了提高生活质量，却不得不以增加碳排放为代价。专家指出，尽管人们不能避免碳排放，但却可以减少碳排放。每个人都不可能过“零碳”的生活，在资源匮乏的当下，我们要做的是，把有限的资源用于满足人们的基本需要，限制奢侈浪费。同时，养成“低碳生活”理念，在可选择、可替换的条件下，首选自然、环保、健康的生活方式。

其实，加入到低碳一族当中并非难事，“低碳生活”细节贯穿在家居生活的各个环节，就拿日常生活用电来说：家用电器的插头插座接

触良好才能节电;电水壶的电热管积了水垢后要及时清除，这样才能提高热效率;熨烫衣物最好选购功率为500瓦或700瓦的高温电熨斗，不仅升温快，还能节电;所有的家用电器尽量不使用“声控、光控、遥控”等作为控制开关，这样可节电10%～15%。这样看来，每个人都能为控制全球气候变暖做出积极的贡献。

如果我再告诉你，回收23.5万吨废铁，可以建造36个埃菲尔铁塔;回收6000吨废铝，可以生产74架空中客车飞机;回收120万吨玻璃，可以建造254个罗浮宫玻璃金字塔，那么请你想一想，就因为你懒于分拣，被你随手扔掉的将是我们人类生存的地球啊!

或许有人认为，即使自己“低碳”了，也挡不住工矿企业的违规排放。但是，冰川融化、气候恶化，每个人都将受到惩罚。“低碳生活”带来的其实是一种新的生活质量观。需要理清的是，过“低碳生活”，并不是意味着就不能开车、住大房子、享受空调了。低碳的真实含义是要给人们身体健康提供最大的保护和舒适感，对环境影响更小或有助改善环境。如欧洲现在建设了很多零排放建筑，隔热效果非常好，在自然通风的条件下，隔热层可以把室内温度调控到一个合适的水平，且能保持很长时间。在交通领域，可以开发太阳能汽车、生物燃料汽车等，同时大力发展公共交通。

事实上，每一个普通公民在举手投足之间就可尽享“低碳生活”。倡导低碳生活方式的公益环保网站“互联网森林”的首页上列出的平易近人的10件减排案例就生动有趣：少用一个塑料袋，减排二氧化碳0.1克;5层以下，以爬楼梯代替坐电梯，每次平均可减排二氧化

碳600克;选择应季蔬菜水果，每千克减排二氧化碳400克;夏季空调调高1℃，平均每台每天可以减少排放175克二氧化碳;一棵树，一年可吸收18.3千克二氧化碳……。这些告诉我们，低碳生活就在我们身边，节约每一张纸、每一度电，装修中少用装饰灯、选用节能灯管，都是普通人可以做到的。

总之，在我们的日常生活中有很多的方法可以减少二氧化碳的排放，只要我们都重视起来，我们的环境就会越来越好，相信大家以后都会努力地减少二氧化碳的排放。面对自然气候的恶化，于是人们从日常的行为开始保护地球家园――开始了低碳生活。

This is a book worth reading of each and every one, as for some writers on the criticism of this book, I dont think the writer must be a genuine writer.Because he didnt realize that the book in the true sense of genius.This book is not only able to interpret from the literature.Why dont dream start, the true value of because he has not been found."Ordinary world" in the future a certain period of history would be like a dream of red mansions by many experts to study the book.The value of it is that it gives us a generation, is the very book that we need.

As is well known by now throughout the world Harvey Ball, a commercial artist from Worcester, Massachusetts created the smiley face in 1963. That image went on to become the most recognizable symbol of good will and good cheer on the planet.

As the years passed Harvey Ball became concerned about the over-commercialization of his symbol, and how its original meaning and intent had become lost in the constant repetition of the marketplace. Out of that concern came his idea for World Smile Day. He thought that we, all of us, should devote one day each year to smiles and kind acts throughout that world. The smiley face knows no politics, no geography and no religion. Harvey’s idea was that for at least one day each year, neither should we. He declared that the first Friday in October each year would henceforth be World Smile Day.

The very first World Smile Day took place in Worcester, MA on October 1, 1999. What a celebration it was! State and local dignitaries gathered and read proclamations in support of the day. Another proclamation recognizing the day was read on the floor of the United States Congress and is now part of the Congressional Record, the reporter of the official proceedings of the US Congress. Thousands of Worcester school children created World Smile Day® cards that were then delivered to area hospitals and nursing homes. The event became national and even international news.

The US Postal service came to Worcester that day to unveil its new Smiley Face stamp design. And, the Postal Service issued a special cancellation just for that event. Each year since then the USPS has issued a different cancellation commemorating the day.

In his inaugural address on that very first World Smile Day Harvey Ball laid the groundwork for that World Smile Day saying that the smiley face “…just reflects what is inside every one of us – a smile is what we want to see when we look at another human being.” He said, “Sometimes we forget that. Sometimes the world seems big and filled with problems that are too hard to understand much less solve. We start to believe that we are too small to make a difference. But that’s not true. The truth is that every one of us has the ability to make a difference every day.”

Harveys hometown of Worcester, MA has been and continues to be the epicenter for World Smile Day.

Every year on April 22 is earth day, just as its name implies earth day is called on everyone to protect the earth. But you touched his conscience think how many people?

大家都知道，地球上只有植物才能吸收二氧化碳，呼出氧气。科学家曾经实验并计算过3棵树1天吸收的二氧化碳相当于1个成年人1天呼出的二氧化碳。照这样计算，植物对于人类实在是太重要了。所以，我们一定要好好保护植物。假如我是一棵小树，我要向那些只知道盖房子、建工厂、做家具的人们和那些乱砍乱伐的人们提出忠告：请不要再乱砍伐我们树木了，也不要再乱践踏我们的小草兄弟了。否则，我们的家族就会被砍光、伐光、踩死的。到那时，整个儿地球将会成为二氧化碳的世界，直接威胁到地球妈妈和她千千万万个子孙后代的生存!因此，我们必须下大力气去制止这些公害和私害的发生。而且，我们还要大量植树，净化空气，绿化我们的地球母亲!

搬回了我的“小家”了。搬回了“小家”之后，吴佳琪打呼噜的声音还在我们回荡，就在我实在忍无可忍的时候，旁边一床的余润心突然从床上站了起来，吓了我一大跳。她要干什么呀?我心想，就把头转到她走的位置，只看见余润心冲到吴佳琪的床前，把她的鼻子捏了一下。吴佳琪“哼”了一下，转过身，终于不打呼噜了，唉!噩梦总算过去了。

唉，这个世界睡眠日过的真是悲剧了，我只好明天再继续补眠了。

1946年7月22日，联合国经社理事会在纽约举行了一次国际卫生大会，60多个国家的代表共同签署了《世界卫生组织宪章》，《世界卫生组织宪章》于1948年4月7日生效。为纪念组织宪章通过日，1948年6月，在日内瓦举行的联合国第一届世界卫生大会上正式成立世界卫生组织，并决定将每年的7月22日定为“世界卫生日”，倡议各国举行各种纪念活动。次年，第二届世界卫生大会考虑到每年7月份大部分国家的学校已放暑假，无法参加这一庆祝活动，便规定从1950年起将4月7日作为全球性的“世界卫生日”
