前面提到学生读书没有自由兴许在某些地方有些夸张，但，我想，在初中和高中是一点也不夸张的。初中高中的老师之前是以学习的名义禁止学生阅读“闲书”，而后又有语文老师以作文的名义号召学生多背诵唐诗宋词，所以十七岁以前，除了j教参，我所看之书甚少，对书的概念了解甚浅，根本就没有什么读书的兴趣，为何？我所看的书不是教科书上几篇严肃深奥的文章，就是很多我无法理解美在何处的诗文，如此下来，我何以爱上读书？当然，这只是最初，我更开始从心底立反感阅读老师专家所推荐的经典作品，比如“中学生必读书目”，“必读”？为何必读？我偏偏不读！

这样的想法自然是不妥当，但是，如果站在人的思维的角度来看，形成这样的思维是没有任何过错的，而且，存在这样心理的人数众多，如果非得追究这种心理的问题，那只能说此人太不“人性”。

林语堂曾在《论读书》一文中提到“读书万不可强读，强读无效，反而有害这是读书之第一义”，他也说明了理由：人之气质各有不同，在一人吃来是补品，在他人迟来可能是毒质，硬着头皮读书自然无效。这大概是解放之前的文章了，然而几十年过去了，专家们似乎忘却了研究这一点。在这篇文章立，林语堂引用了萧伯纳的一句话：“许多英国人终生不读莎士比亚，知识因为学生时代被强迫背诵留下的恶果。”如此看来，我反对阅读经典的心理是很正常的，学生不愿意阅读经典、唐诗宋词不是学生的错，至少主要不是学生的错。打个简单的比方，旅游的人走错了路，是怪追究导游的责任还是游客的责任？

其实，读什么书本是个人的事情，可偏僻那有人怀着善意想引导学生多读好书，少走弯路，然而又忘记了“好书”的概念是不确定了，一些书在自己看来是好的，在他人看来兴许就不是了，毕竟阅读需要性格、年龄、阅历、心智等多方面因素的考虑，如果不能坚持“一切从实际出发”的原则，这种善意可能就会适得其反了。在萌芽上看到王岱老师（山东省实验中学教研主张，中国教师写作教学研究中心常务理事）的一篇文章，文章中提到自己教导学生，对喜欢经济的推荐《新经济》、《南风窗》、《战略与管理》等，对哲学感兴趣的推荐《苏菲的世界》、《顾准文集》……推荐学生既喜欢看又看得懂，而且有一定作用的书，这才是真正的善意。

其实，这些都是次要的，重要的是更深层次的教育问题，但，这仍然不是最主要的，因为教育的问题已经拖沓了几十年了，比如林语堂在民国时期就提到了背诵的问题，然而几十年过去了还是如此，而今，连教育体制维护者的老师也常常说教育制度如何如何有问题，可是问题仍然存在，故而说明，最重要的还是人的问题。
