那么春节到底是怎么来的呢?相传，在很久以前，有一个名叫万年的青年，看到当时节令很乱，想把节令定准，一天，他上山砍柴，坐在树阴下面休息，树影的移动启发了他，他设计了一个测日影计天时的日晷仪。可是，天阴雨雾，影响测量，后来，山崖上的滴泉引起他的兴趣，他又动手做了五层漏壶，天长日久，他发现每隔三百六十多天，天时的长短就会重复一遍。

那时的国君叫祖乙，天时风云的不测，使他很苦恼。一个名叫阿衡的大臣，为讨好皇上，奏称要设天台敬祭天神，祖乙认为有理，便带领百官去祭天，却无济于事，万年知道后，忍不住带着日晷仪和漏壶去见皇上，对祖乙讲清了日月运行的道理。祖乙听后龙颜大悦，感到有道理。于是把万年留下，在天坛前修建日月阁，筑起日晷台和漏壶亭，并派了十二童子服待万年，祖乙对万年说：“希望你能测准日月规律，推算出准确的晨夕时间，创建历法，为天下的黎民百姓造福。”

有一次，祖乙传旨要阿衡去了解万年测试历法的进展情况，当他登上日月坛时看见天坛边的石壁上写了一些字，阿衡看见后，知道万年的历法已研究成功，怕皇上重用他，于日派人刺杀万年，结果刺客被士卫抓住了，祖乙知道后，惩处了阿衡，亲自登上日月阁看望万年，万年指着天象，对祖乙说：“现在正是十二个月满，旧岁已完，新春复始，祈请国君定个节吧。”祖乙说：“春为岁道，就叫春节吧。”

冬去春来，年复一年，后来，万年经过长期观察，精心推算，制定了准确的太阳历，后来为了纪念万年的功绩，便将太阳日命名为“万年历”封万年为日月寿星，以后，人们在过年时挂上寿星图，据传说就是为了纪念万年的。

现在我们过年也有一些习俗，如倒贴“福”字，放爆竹，拜年等等。

Spring Festival is the most important holiday for Chinese people. Excitement and happiness are palpable this time of the year， and they reach the peak on lunar new year‘s eve.

Though the 15-day period， which starts with the first day of the lunar new year and ends on the 15th day (known as Lantern Festival)， is relatively long， it is the busiest time of the year for Chinese people. The arrangements they have to make for family reunions， buying necessities and preparing food keeps them busy throughout the holiday. Many of them travel back home and meet friends over dinner and drinks. The celebrations include decorating the house and setting off fireworks.

But we are talking about a tradition that seems to be fading.Spring Festival， as it is celebrated today， has undergone many changes， thanks to the country‘s economic development and globalization.

Yet no Spring Festival is complete without food. People could not get good food whenever they desired in earlier times， something that does not apply to society today. More often than not， people faced the risk of famine. The best time for people to celebrate was when food was available in plenty， and that was possible in spring， or the beginning of the lunar new year. That was the main reason why Spring Festival acquired such great importance among Chinese people.

But three decades of economic growth has ensured that people in China， except for those who are still poor， can enjoy a good meal whenever they want. Such has been the change in people‘s fortune that some have to be treated for obesity and other health problems associated with excessive eating.

In the past， celebrations were limited to events like song-and-dance duets in North China， dragon/lion dances in South China and fireworks， which required the joint efforts of the entire community. But economic development and urbanization seems to have weakened the social links among people. Many， especially those living in cities， are not interested in celebrating the festival with people they hardly know.

Many customs associated with Spring Festival have changed， too. In the past， people used to visit relatives and friends with gifts and lots of good wishes. Today， many people， especially the youth， use their cell phones or the Internet to send their good wishes and even "gifts" to their relatives and friends. Some may say this a sign that people have become less caring about their near and dear ones， but we should see this development as a time- and energy-saving exercise granted by the information age.

In recent times， many people have started praying for a career promotion or more money instead of invoking God or the Buddha for a healthy and long life and the welfare of their family. But the number of such people is decreasing now， which shows that people are becoming more reasonable.

烟花爆竹燃放起来虽然美，但人们却不知道，烟花爆竹让我们的新鲜空气收到污染。最近，天空都灰蒙蒙的，有阴霾漂浮在空中。现在，就让我来给你们生活里的一件真实的事吧！ 一天，我正在写作文，那时候的光线还是很亮的，我急急忙忙地写着。可过了一会儿，天就突然黑了下来。咦，大白天的，怎么天会黑下来呢？我想，可能是今天早上零时放了许多鞭炮的缘故吧！天越来越黑了。我只好打开灯，继续写了起来。等我写好，天已经很黑了。我打开报纸一看，上面写着：大多五成以上都选择了禁止燃放烟花爆竹。我想：这下总不会再放鞭炮了吧！当我暗暗高兴的时候，听到了一声“噼里啪啦”，接着又有“砰砰砰”的声音响了起来。报纸上都这样说了，放鞭炮的人们，你们也该不放鞭炮了吧！ 放鞭炮的人们啊，请别再放了！请为我们尽一份责任！这份责任就是：不要再放鞭炮，让原来那新鲜的空气再回到我们的身边，尽自己的能力去净化空气！

春节有很多好玩儿的事，像吃团圆饭、大人给压岁钱等等，但是我最喜欢的是和哥哥一起放烟花!

吃过晚饭，哥哥徐正准会来找我说：“金琨，走，去外面放烟花去!”我欣然同意，马上就拿了爸爸的打火机，哥哥拿起凳子和烟花就往外冲，我问哥哥：“你拿个凳子干嘛?”“为了安全啊!”哥哥说。

哥哥放下凳子，取出“七彩照明弹”，将它插在凳子中间的空隙里，拔出它的捻子，哆哆嗦嗦地打开了打火机，捻子一碰到火苗，哥哥以迅雷不及掩耳之势缩回了拿着打火机的手，可是等了半天烟花一直都没反应，哥哥刚要转身去看，突然，“砰”的一下，烟花里迅速喷出几个火球，有蓝的、黄的、绿的，非常好看!

当时，我准备正在放“黑狼导弹”，听见声音，我还以为是烟花被我点着了，大叫了一声：“我的妈呀!”就迅速跑开了，过了好久还是没有响声，听见哥哥在旁边“咯咯”的笑声我才缓过神来。

烟花中最美的要算“火球开花”了。点着捻子后，颜色各异的火球就“噼里啪啦”地炸开了，有的像牡丹，有的像万寿菊，有的像桃花……五颜六色地装饰着美丽的夜空，就像深邃的夜空里又多了几颗明亮的星星一样，为除夕的夜晚增添了一道亮丽的风景线!

我爱放烟花，但我更爱可以放烟花的春节!

新的一年又来了,到了除夕夜晚上,我们会听到震耳欲聋的鞭炮声,但燃放烟花爆竹会对我们造成各种危害,关系到我们生活的各种方面。

虽然燃放烟花爆竹是间高兴的事,但同样也会造成巨大的危害。首先,烟花爆竹产生的二氧化碳,金属微粒物,等物质会造成空气污染指数严重超标。这样污染的空气,人们长时间的呼吸,回到支气管炎,肺炎,肺气肿,等疾病发生。另外一些大型鞭炮和大型礼花会发出巨大的噪音,会损害人的身心健康。特别是对于一些患有老血栓,冠心病,等患有心脏病的老人造成巨大的危害。甚至威胁这些病人的生命。

烟花炮竹的燃放会使空气污染指数上升,达到PM2.5。据说,在2012年的时候,到了冬季,随着气温的下降,使用蜂窝煤炉子来取暖的人也多了,当时空气污染指数超标,国家气象局发布霾狸天气黄色预警。在中国的北京,上海,等人口密集,经济发展地。是污染指数最高的地方。中国气象局在某地烟花爆竹燃放密集的地方进行了空气指标测试,结果爆表,测得空气污染指数为2500。可见烟花爆竹对空气影响有多么大。

燃放烟花爆竹也会造成巨大经济损失,是巨大社会资源浪费。放炮可以造成人员伤亡,也会引起火灾。据统计,北京2005年因放炮受伤人数达551人,死亡5人,引起火灾378起。北京因燃放烟花炮竹引起的安全事故虽下降中,但我们也要防范。坚决抵制燃放烟花炮竹。

因此,我们就不要燃放烟花炮竹,因为它给我们带来的危害不容小视,如果继续坚持燃放烟花爆竹,将会造成不可挽救的后果。所以,从现在起我们不要燃放烟花爆竹了。这样,我们才能有一个安全,舒适的生活环境,才能有一个清澈明朗的蓝天。

On the eve of the new year， each family has its members gatherd together and eats a family reunion dinner。 After the meal they watch TV until the clock strickes twelve。 Then every family sets off long strings of small firecrackers and other fire works to wele the new year。 On the first day of the new year， almost everyone is dressed in his or her best。 When people meet on the way， they say to each other "Happy New Year"。 Friends and relatives pay new year calls and gives presents to each other。 Children indulge themselves in games。

中国大连烟花爆竹迎春会是以燃放烟花爆竹为媒介，旨在展示大连改革开放崭新面貌、展现中国民俗文化、活跃人民文化生活和促进旅游事业发展的大型城市活动。始办于1997年春节，至今已成功举行了六届，现已发展成为大连旅游的名牌产品。每年正月初二至初六迎春会期间举办的大型烟花爆竹燃放表演、迎春灯展、卡通巡游、文艺演出、游艺游乐等活动，吸引了众多国家和地区的外交使节、新闻记者、海外商贾和旅游者前来与大连人民共度佳节，共享欢乐。

焰火晚会还引进日本、荷兰、意大利等国外燃放技术;上万盏造型各异的走马灯、宫灯、彩灯同30个大型灯组将装饰在会展中心的周边，让“节味”更浓。

Before the festival comes, everyone will do some cleaning. That means they can sweep away the bad luck. They will decorate the doors and windows with paper cuts. That makes the house very beautiful. On the New Years Eve, everyone will get together and have a big meal. They wont go to bed until 12. On the New Years day, everyone will wish others "Happy New Year". Children can get lucky money. They will wear new clothes. The children are the happiest, because they can wear new clothes and get lucky money.
