麦琪是指基督出生时送来礼物的三贤人，是他们首创了圣诞节馈赠礼物的风俗，这篇小说正是说了作者笔下所说的两个像“麦琪”一样聪明的人儿的平凡故事。

德拉为了为自己的丈夫吉姆买一份配得上他的圣诞礼物而每一天积攒着那些零钱，甚至是从店铺的小贩那儿死乞白赖的硬扣下来的，但是即便是这样，却还是只能凑到一块八毛七分，要明白这点钱是绝对不够买上一份像样的礼物的。在这看着一穷二白的家中却有着两样最让这对夫妇引以为豪的东西，一样是吉姆三代祖传的金表，还有就是德拉的头发，透过作者形象的比喻和描述：“德拉的头发能够与示巴女王的珠宝相形见拙;吉姆的金表能够让拥有大笔财富的所罗门王妒忌得吹胡子。”能够看出这两样东西对这对夫妇而言是多么宝贵的东西。

当作者开始用细节描述去刻画德拉看到自己秀丽的头发，原本晶莹明亮的眼睛却黯然失色时，我开始有些猜到她下一步会干什么了，果然，她快速地跑入一家经营各种头发用品的店，将自己的头发以二十块的价格卖了出去。并且花了两个多小时把所有店铺都兜底翻过后找到了她心目中那个为她的吉姆专制的礼物——一条白金表链。

德拉忐忑地猜想自己的丈夫看到自己的头发不见了之后的反应一边准备好了一切去门口迎接吉姆回来。就在吉姆看到德拉的一刹那他站住了，用作者的话来说就是“像一条猎狗修道鹌鹑气味似的纹丝不动”。在作者用语言描述写出吉姆难以言明的疑问与德拉不安的解释时，我的心似与德拉同时悬了起来，吉姆真的会因为德拉没有了那一头漂亮的头发而改变了对她的爱。就在这时，笔锋转向吉姆送给德拉的礼物——那是一套德拉向往已久却从未想要占有的与德拉的一头秀发匹配完美的昂贵发梳，但是，佩戴这些装饰的头发却没有了，我开始理解吉姆当时看到德拉的反应为何如此激烈。

而到后来，这一苦难的日子才稍稍有些改变，因为我对看书读文这事态度有了些变化。因为只要我读好了书，长辈们就会高兴，一高兴每每就会赏一点什么吃的，玩的，甚至是零花钱，所以，为了奖赏，我才稍微没有那么排斥了，只要坐在窗前那么一小会就会有奖励出现，自己也颇为满意。但都是应付式的看书读文，所以也基本上是没什么用。

不是我不喜欢读书写字，而是这些是在无法勾起我对它们的兴趣。但是，直到一次我看到一篇课文，那就是完全勾起了我的兴致。那就是老舍曾经写过的一篇文章——《猫》，其中，不但把猫的动作神态写的精彩，就连那细微的生活习性也是描绘的细致入微，写的是活灵活现，就好像是真的一样发生在我身边。因此，我开始喜欢看动物这一类的文章了，小孩子嘛，谁不喜欢小猫小狗小鸡这些可爱的动物？相比于那些写人说事的文章，这些就显得有趣多了。

而我一感到有趣，就肯定继续看这些写动物的文章作文，渐渐地，从不看书的我竟然也开始看一些书了，什么《昆虫记》，《动物世界》之类的，里面所讲的动物都相当有趣，基本上是一看就上“瘾”了，家人们也是感到惊异我居然愿意主动看书，颇为高兴。也因此，我看这些书，给我在写作文方面也带来了一些灵感，常常得到老师的夸奖，说某个某个句子，段落写动物写的好，对于具体的东西，事物描述的比较到位，但也仅此而已。

所以到后来，我又看了一些书《狼王梦》《与海豚做邻居》等。这些书所写的也是以动物为题材，主角就是固定的某个动物，不会写了这个动物又写那个动物。与之不同的是，作者不但只以一个动物为主角进行描写，还把动物某些方面写的像人，不像老舍，只是略显单方面的直接描述动物的外貌神态，生活习性。还融入了动物与动物之间，人与动物之间的情感，充分体现了动物的心理情感。

因此，也让我学习到了，写动物不单单只写动物，还要带入自己的情感，动物与动物之间的情感，甚至是通过写动物的某一个行为事件来反映我们人类自己与之相像的方面，使人从中明白道理，把作文写得真实动情，以此来打动读者。

所以，我的写作水平在此期间不知不觉的就有所提升。

为此，自己还专门归纳总结了一些写作，阅读的经验：多阅读，对于写作水平的提高会有帮助。但前提条件，你得对读文章感兴趣，所以最好是先看一些篇幅较短的自己觉得有味的作文。生动灵活的动物植物类的作文，就应该是最好的能吸引你爱上阅读的文章。因为我相信，很多人都喜欢这类作文。

所以，多阅读，对写作有帮助，还能助你了解的知识。

试想一下，当自己突然兴致大发，在一个曼妙朦胧且清爽的黄昏午后，独自对着渐要日落的太阳，喝一杯酸甜爽口的果汁，躺在草地或坐在院子里，手拿一本著名的故事书籍，没有人打扰，一个人安安静静的细细品读。那时光美景，那感受，是多么妙不可言，既是享受生活，又是修心。你若愿意，一定会爱上阅读的！

英语原版小说的阅读技巧与策略说实话,在原版小说的阅读方面,我不是高手,虽然有很多恩师淳淳教导,自己也买了借了很多原版小说,在我印象中,没有一本好好读完的,唯一的一本大16开的600多pages的原版教材,到是花了3个月的时间啃完了.

近来由于2外的需要,本人再次向原版小说进军.我把自己的一些3角猫的阅读技巧与策略祥述如下,希望各位高人指点在下…

要想真正提高外语水平,阅读原版小说是必经之路,正如不是每个人都能成为外语高手一样,

不是每个人都能够有毅力读完N本原版小说的.(我特佩服门卫,能够把一本都上N遍,如果我有这种毅力的话,早就成为高手了…)

2. fundamental conditions

语法:系统准确的掌握语法. 基本上,如果是E,高中毕业以后这一点都达到了

词汇: 熟练词汇>2.5k, 认知词汇>5k

工具书:一本C-E,

一本E-E,或者用文曲星代替,但我偏好字典----词汇认知学指出,词汇的记忆效果与词汇的检索时间正相关(我现在读法文,由3本D, F-C,F-E,F-F)

3. 选材,仁者见仁,就我个人而言, 我偏好当代中篇作品(我现在选了一本Marcel Pagnol 写于1957年的, 280pages)

4. 前期工作: 查找百科全书或相应的工具书,了解到作者的生平,作品,世人的评价.

5. 阅读中的词汇学习: 每天阅读6 pages(6X225=1350字),在阅读过程中碰到new words先做标记,读完后再查D, 把生词记载在本子上,并及时背诵(我现在最怕的就是这一点,会不会半途而废???)

我准备默读, 这是我的习惯,朗读太费劲了,泛读也没有意义,介于精泛之间

我主要研究其词汇搭配.词汇的用法是语言中最难的,比如,法语中最简单的一个介词à,用法不计其数,在大型D上有好几页,

为什么同样的词汇在名家手下就生龙活虎,到了我的手下就一潭死水呢?我认为这应该是读原版小说的最根本目的.

记得AS以前告诫我,要多学词法,少背词汇, 可惜一直没有好好的实行, 现在,我就以法语作为实验品吧…再次谢谢AS!!!

我准备把注意力集中在介词,连词,动词上面,因为名词和形容词的用法太简单了,不知这样是否OK?

方法人人都有,上面只是我个人的对策,真诚的希望大家对阅读原版小说提出意见和建议.

所谓“答问题”，就是要让学生在根据语文阅读理解问题的要求来回答相应的问题，回答问题力求做到以下诸点：1、不可不答；不答则无分。学生只有回答阅读材料要求所的提问题，才能得分。我们老师对学生进行语文阅读理解训练时，就必须向学生说明这一点，不可不答；不答则无分。2、不乱答；乱答也不得分。学生不联系语文阅读理解问题的要求来回答，我们称之为乱答题，乱答本质上是与学生不答题一样，没有成绩。我们在语文阅读理解训练中强调学生要答满线格，但并不是让学生在语文阅读理解训练题线格胡说和乱说，因为学生乱答也不得分。3、言之有据，持之有理。所谓“言之有据”就是要学生在阅读试卷上的文字材料上找原话，找依据，不能凭空瞎说。我向学生说语文阅读理解的答案也是人定的参考答案，我们的学生不要害怕，任何问题的回答都不可能与教师的参考答案一模一样。语文阅读理解得分的主动权在我们同学们手中，关键是在于你有没有“言之有据”地来作答。

所谓“持之有理”就是让学生根据问题能够说一个所以然来，能说一个道道来，或谓之“自圆其说”。只要学生言之有据，持之有理，就可以酌情得分了。同时学生要注意组织规范语言答题，认真书写。答案基本考虑成熟之后，还需要注意一下表述的语言。语言简洁明了，能达到事半功倍的效果；重复罗嗦，不得要领，往往会出力不讨好。在答题之后，如果时间允许，要重读全文内容，充满信心地进行复查。所有答案全部做完后，携带阅读理解的成果回归原文，检查答题有无疏漏，研究其内在联系和逻辑关系，对照各题目推测判断，确保无误。
