不过美中不足的地方是植物园里，以前一年四季都美如画卷。春天万物复苏，鸟语花香，夏天花朵万紫千红，鱼儿在嬉戏。秋天树叶变黄了，像蝴蝶似的落在地上，形成一张金黄金的毛毯。冬天它们都沉睡了。现在已经彻底地毁了容。难道校长忽视了这个地方了吗?不是的。对于这个地方，我觉得校长应该组织同学亲自种花草树木，一些同学就打扫卫生。在科技活动时，在生物圆就开放，让生物组的同学进去观察学习。

Dear Tom,

Thanks for your letter which finally caught up with me in London. I suppose youre keen to hear how the trip has been so far. So heres a short description of whats happened.

Well, you remember we left Sydney on Monday and arrived in London 24 hours later. After such a long and exhausting flight the first thing we did was to have a good, long sleep. And after that?a good meal to make up for all that horrible airline stuff!

The first real day of our holiday was spent just walking around London to get a feel of the place. After that, however, we were more particular and planned each day carefully.

First, we looked at all the historical sights, such as the Tower of London, the Houses of Parliament, the British Museum and the National Gallery. Then we visited some other famous places, such as Kew Gardens and Hampstead Heath. Finally, we took a one-day trip to Oxford, which is really the most marvelous town. You should make sure to go there when you visit England.

After we had seen a lot of London, we flew to Paris. A t first, we didnt like the place-I suppose because it was so different from London. Later, though, we began to really love it and started to appreciate its differentness.

The final stage of our trip is a visit to Rome, after which we will be staying in Singapore for two days before returning to Australia.

As we all realized that every one of us will fail during our life. Take me

for an example, I fail in my exam. In fact, failure always does appear, which

also means that failure is a daily occurrence, however, when facing the failure,

different people have different attitudes.

Some people hold the view that failure is the meaning whenever they could

not be successful. Thus, if meeting with failure, they will feel so nervous that

they have no idea what they are supposed to do. As time goes by, they become

more and more dispirited while eventually, they could do nothing well.

On the contrary, there are some people tending to believe another idea.

From their point of view, failure is outstanding due to the fact that it can

give them plenty of encouragement. Therefore, if facing failure, they will be

quite courageous and then try their best to beat it, finally, they make their

dream come true.

From my perspective, failure is neither an excellent thing nor an

appreciating thing. Sometimes, it is capable to offer us with encouragement,

however, it can also make us unconfident now and then. Thus, if encountering the

failure, never could we be scared. What we should do is to face it bravely and

never give up.

In summary, I wish when failure appears, each one of us could confront with

it bravely and beat it, if possible.

还记得前几天上英语课的时候，您从第一组开始点我们回答问题。

您是从第一个开始依次点起，我找出了规则。因为你的问题是要我们一人翻译一个句子。于是我兴高采烈的找起了按道理应该是我翻译的那一句。不一会二我找到了我要翻译的那一句。于是我就开是试着翻译这一句，我知到按道理我应该是翻译这一句，所以我也就没顾得上看其它的句子。终于要轮到我回答了，我刚准备站起来，却突然听到您喊的不是我的名字。我的心情犹如股票从涨到跌，这是何等的悲伤，因为全组的人都按规则点完了，唯独我一个人没点，我当时心想难到老师真的对我的英语不抱一丝希望了，我的心……我趴在了座位上。

正在这时我似呼听到了一个熟悉的名字，是的，是老师在喊我的名字。我站起来的一刹那，我既高兴有不高兴。我高兴的是老师对我的英语还抱一丝希望，我不高兴的是其它的句子我看

都没看，那回翻译。老师点起来的后果可想而知，我结结巴巴的临时翻了半句，还不知到对不对，我只见老师的书已打到我的脸上。接着我在老师的呵斥声中坐下了。

老师我想对您说几句心里话，老师我知道您之所以最后点我，是因为你怕我不会翻译那一句长的，您认为我不会翻译那句，那么我也许真的是不回翻译了。因为老师是学生一大部份原动力的源泉。还有您不应该破坏规则，也许您是好心，但是任何事物既然有它的规则，就不要去破坏它的规则。就像我读过的一篇文章中写的那样，文章里的主人公有一个蝴蝶茧，一天，小主人公看见蝴蝶即将破茧而出，看见蝴蝶捅破了一个孔，看见蝴蝶这样费劲，就把茧剪破了，果然蝴蝶很轻松的飞出来了。小主人公那知到这是害死了蝴蝶，它刚出来不久，折腾了2下，就死了。老师这些都不重要，重要的是您当着全班同学打我，我的……我说这些，老师请您不要生气。

I like to hear music so much, every time when I am in the bad mood, I will

take out my MP3, listening to the music, then all my worries will be forgotten.

Music is part of my life, I like rock music specially, Avril is my favorite

female singer, I like all of her songs. I wish someday I can have the chance to

watch her music concert.

There was once a little boy called Guy, and he was eight years old. He was

in third grade; one day when he was at school, he found out that tomorrow was

picture day, and so he had got to take a shower. And before he even got to think

about picture day, his teacher Mrs. Creature, said that they were having a

project, and it was all about their family.

The teacher said, “This project shall be today’s homework, and I want it to

be perfect for I am going to tell your parents if you don’t do it.” Suddenly

Guy’s sister Cally stood up and said, “Mrs. Creature, is it okay that I finish

it on class?” “Sure thing Cally;” answered Mrs. Creature smiling, “But there is

only a problem, it is that you must let your brother copy this report on your

paper so that you could help him; then you will have to do another report of

your own, or you’ll both fail!”

Cally and Guy apparently got home, and Cally said, “Mrs. Creature’s hates

me…” “Yeah, it’s hilarious!” shouted Guy, “Let me just copy your paper and we’re

done, okay?” “Ugh,” replied Cally; She reached her hand into her hand, and

pulled out a piece of paper; and said, “This goes over every bone in my delicate

body, but, careful; it’s hand written,” then Guy asked, “Is this gold ink

paper?” then Cally shouted at him and said, “Anything happened to this paper and

your family history ends right here pal!” and then she walked to her room.

Guy walked to the sofa and said, “My running is fast, I have nothing to

worry about it;” then suddenly his father came with a paper shredder in his

hands and said, “Hey Guy, check out my new paper shredder and…” He had barely

finished when suddenly; Guy threw Cally’s report into the shredder by accident,

and “azuowenz!” like that sound, Cally’s report was shredded. Guy called, “No!”

then his dad was ashamed and said, “Oh, I guess it isn’t a good thing to walk

around with this thing turned on;” and then he ran off with his legs behind his

butt.

Suddenly, Guy’s body shook, and he turned into Shezow. He went to Sheila,

his, or her, super computer, and said to her; “What’s wrong Sheila, I’m kind of

busy around here and…”

“Dude, or should I say Shezow, this isn’t about your own business; because

there is an emergency out there.

After a breath Sheila said to Guy, “Mega monkey is on the attack, and

according to me he should be back in time.” Then Guy said, “Road trip! Time

traveling!” then he hopped into the sheicel and drove off to time travel… He was

excited.

She drove off right away. After that, she found some of the pass few

Shezows. At last Sheila said to Shezow, “My scan is lining up like dynamite,

follow that flapper!” shouted Sheila. Shezow followed it just as Sheila said,

and found herself in the 1920s; “Wow, it looks like the 1920s,” said Maze, Guy’s

brother. Then Shezow zoomed into a tornado.

When she opened her eyes, she found herself in 1924, the Shezow in that

time saved her world from Mega monkey that had escaped not long before, and

Sheila then said, “Quick, to the beginning!” then she allowed Shezow to drive to

the beginning where they might save the day…

Shezow at last arrived at the beginning, and she stopped in time. At first

a dinosaur was chasing her and was very, very frightened. But the Shezow in that

time saved her, she was grateful; then she found her or his or Guy’s report

there at the beginning Shezow’s lair…

The next day at school, when Guy’s report was handed out, he got an A+; and

when Cally’s report was handed out, she got an A-…

I am a December 2003 graduate from the University of San Francisco (USF) with a bachelors degree in International Business. As part of my career planning, I am very interested in supplementing my international business education with a basic knowledge of the Chinese language. I already have information from BLCU and hope to study there for at least one full year starting with this summers program continuing through the fall and spring semester 2006. Can your office advise me if such scholarships might be available to me?

I have been studying Chinese for one year now. I am not sure what level I belong to. I was told that there will be an HSK test in our university in September. I am planning to attend the test. 七十分，对于我这个中等生来说，是前所未有的，凝神着“祖国江山一片红”的试卷，我不禁深深地叹了一口气

。但回想起今天发生的事，让我感到，我并没有失去什么，反而得到了许多。

今天下午，我怀着一颗心惊胆战的心与小徐同学走进了语文梁老师的办公室。虽然语文考试的成绩还未公布于众，但我俩还是迫不及待地想知道自己的成绩。

语文梁老师正飞快地改着试卷，我轻声对梁老师说：“梁老师，试卷改好了吗?”

梁老师微微抬起头，冲我们笑笑，和蔼可亲地说道：“你们快把自己的试卷找出来吧!我把你们先改出来。”嘿!梁老师真神了，连我们肚子里在想什么都能一字不漏的说出来。

小徐最先找出了自己的试卷，老师拿起红笔“挥舞”起来。“嗯，84分还不错。”老师笑着说，小徐也莞尔一笑。

紧接着是我的试卷，哗一改，选择题就扣了整整12分，后面又长龙般的紧挨着许许多多的“，我的脸刷的就感觉到滚烫滚烫的。一张卷子下来，扣了整整三十分。

我本以为梁老师会狠狠地把我批评一顿。我感到很不知所措，呆若木鸡的站着。

梁老师并没有批评我，她笑眯眯地对我说：“考得不是很理想，没关系，下次接着努力!”接着，她帮我把错的题目都一一分析了一次,如:什么地方不该错;什么地方要去读背,文言文的翻译要逐字逐句的翻译……整个过程中，梁老师一直是笑眯眯地，耐心地与我讨论问题。一下子，我觉得我与梁老师之间的距离接近了不少，此刻，我觉得我们不再是师生关系，而是好友关系。

梁老师的每一句话我都听得很仔细。虽然在这五、六分钟里，梁老师只是大致帮我分析了试卷，但我觉得，这其实是对我莫大的支持，说明老师也是看重我的，这让我又得到了自信。

虽然，这次考试不怎么样，但在与梁老师的分析中，我看到了一个尽心尽职的好老师，她的.一言一行都鼓励着我，我就是喜欢这样的语文老师……

他曾经是一名苦练书法的师范学生，他曾经是穷乡僻壤的一位语文老师，而如今他已是江苏省书法家协会会员和中国教育专业委员会会员。他是谁?他就是刘海粟小学的书法教师——张老师。

今天，我们全班同学专程前去采访这位“艺术大师”。

一走进“玲珑工作室”，我们就被里面朴素而又美观的摆设深深吸引住了。工作室里有序地摆放着四排古色古香的书桌，每张课桌上都铺着毛毡，上面整齐地摆放着笔架与砚台。四面墙壁上都挂着他的作品，其中最引人注目的是最后面一幅《吞云吐雾山水间》山水画。画中高山耸入云中，仿佛一位巨人屹立在神州大地之上。山上的树翠色欲流，树枝迎风摇摆，一派生机勃勃的景像。浓墨重彩之下的云朵漂浮在山腰和山顶，恰似天上仙境一般，却有一种“高处不胜寒”的感觉。

正当我们目不转晴地欣赏张老师的画作时，一个三十出头、中等身材、皮肤黝黑的中年男子出现了，他正是今天的主角——张玲珑老师。他慢步走上讲台，两手轻轻放在讲座上，一举一动无不展现出一种艺术家的儒雅。再看他鼻梁上的那一副眼镜架，更是平添了几分艺术气，不得不使得我们对他产生深深的敬意。

“请问张老师，您的教学理念是什么?”一位小记者挤到讲台跟前问道。张老师略加思索，微笑着答道：“我的教学理念并不是很专业，但最主要的是要与学生建立起一种友好关系。兴趣是最好的老师，要让使同学们学好书法，最重要的是要培养他们的兴趣。” “张老师，您认为您这种无偿教学值得吗?”这时，另一位小记者提出了一个尖锐的问题。张老师一挥手，从容地答道：“只有付出，才能有回报。坚持练字，坚持做好自己，并能与我喜欢的孩子们在一起，对我来说是一种享受，我觉得很值。”听了张老师的回答，我们被他这种“捧着一颗心来，不带半根草去”的无私奉献精神所感动，大家情不自禁地鼓起掌来。

大约一个小时之后，我们一一向张老师道别，感谢他接受我们的采访。离开时，张老师挥毫题字，为我们写下了“修德悟道”四个大字，向我们展示了这位“艺术大师”的一颗玲珑心和教育情!现场再次响起一阵热烈的掌声……

make a success, both of you are more excited than me, and support me to do

better. Even though I have failed, you always share sorrow with me and encourage

You love is so unselfish that I am deeply affected, so I will study hard to

您是我的启蒙老师，我们从一年级到五年级……我们班的同学在您的带领下，坚持学习，团结一心，获得了很多荣誉。那一张张“优秀班集体”、“先进班集体”以及其他的奖状，不只是一种荣誉，背后还有我们共同的劳动和智慧。您为我们批改作业，付出了许多心血;您在讲台上洒下了春雨般的谆谆教诲;您把受伤的同学送进医务室，给予了我们阳光般的温暖……从前，有同学在课上捣乱，使您生气了;从前，有同学考试成绩不理想，让您忧心了;从前，有同学字迹潦草，批改作业让您受累了……我由衷地对您说一声：周老师，辛苦了!

记得有一次，我生了场大病，您不顾工作的辛苦，来医院看我，来给我补习，不让我落后于其他同学。我上课后，您抽出休息时间帮我继续复习。我的成绩一点点再往上增长，而您的体重却一点点往下降。您为我付出了这么多，让我至今铭记于心，谢谢您，周老师!
