Here is a difference between science and technology.Science is a method of

answering theoretical questions; technology is a method of solving practical

problems. Science has to do with discovering the facts and relationships between

observable phenomena in nature and with establishing theories that serve to

organize these facts and relationships; technology has to do with

tools,techniques, and procedures for implementing the findings of science.

Another distinction between science and technology has to do with the

progress in each. Progress in science excludes the human factor. Scientists, who

seek to comprehend the universe and know the truth with the highest degree of

dislikes, or to popular ideas about the fitness of things. What scientists

discover may shock or anger people--as did Darwins theory of evolution. But

option of refusing to believe it! But hardly so with technology;we do not have

the option of refusing to hear the sonic boom produced by a supersonic

aircraft-flying overhead; we do not have the option of refusing to breathe

polluted air. Unlike science, progress in technology must be our slave and not

the reverse. The legitimate purpose of technology is to serve peopie--people in

general, not merely some people; and future generations, not merely those who

presently wish to gain advantage for themselves.

We are all familiar with the abuses of technology. Many people blame

technology itself for widespread pollution, resource depletion and even social

decay in general--so much so that the promise of technology is obscured. That

promise is a cleaner and healthier world. If wise applications of science and

technology do not lead to a better world, what else will?

I was in primary school through the fifth primary school, happy time for less homework, the teacher always tells stories. Taking exercise is good for our health. All work and no play makes Jack a

I enjoy several outdoor sports. Swimming in the sea is my favorite. Because

我看着这些邮票背后的纸，我纳闷了：“它现在和邮票合为一体啊，该如何把它去掉呢?”您笑而不语，拿来一个盆子，盆中幽凉的水光荡漾着，水中倒映出我满脸惊讶的神情。您等邮票在水中完全浸透的时候，用手从水中拿出潮湿的邮票，轻轻地把邮票完好无损地撕下来，还没等我发出惊叹声，您接着说：“应该把邮票背后的胶洗干净，然后把邮票放在报纸上等它自然风干。”

一缕缕阳光，穿梭在一枚枚邮票中，淡淡的温暖萦绕在这些小小的邮票上，不禁让人浮想联翩：小小的邮票很平凡，但它却用自己那淡淡的色彩，点缀着我们的生活。我把邮票放在手掌心，合十，双手仿佛充满了力量。这时上课的铃声想起，您嘱咐到：“回去把邮票洗干净，要小心，用护邮袋整齐的包装，用适当的衬纸搭配，做好了以后，我帮你编排。”第二天，我拿着洗好的邮票，来到您的办公室，您细心地帮我把一枚枚邮票排列好。您的指尖灵动地跳跃在一枚枚小小的邮票上，这时它们仿佛有了生命一般，游移在你的手中。那天午后，微风习习，安静的下午，流年淡淡留过，蓦然回首，仿佛就发生在昨天那样清晰。一张张精美的邮票，如上天赏赐般呈现在我眼前，让我如何不心动?我对您的技术流露出无比钦佩之情，您只是淡然一笑。阳光透过玻璃照射在桌子上，看着焕发出异样光彩的邮票，您再次露出笑颜。您的笑，就像天空中的那轮明月散发出的光芒，照亮了我的身心。
