前几年，爸爸把家门前鱼塘种了莲藕，每到夏天的时候，我就会想起苏轼的一句名言“接天莲叶无穷碧，映日荷花别样红”，我们一家人就漫步于荷塘边，你看青翠欲滴的荷叶铺展于碧绿的荷塘中，像一个大圆盘，一片挨着一片，一片挤着一片。荷塘绿得发亮，绿得如月块无暇翡翠。就连碧蓝碧蓝的天空也被荷塘倒映成碧绿的了！嫩绿的荷叶，像一把把倒放的伞，在风中摇摆。荷叶真大，大得铺天盖地；大得可以坐下一位旅客。叶上的露珠真美，像一个鲜红的生命在跳动，美得如珍珠一般晶莹剔透，美得令人陶醉！鱼儿在伞下游来游去，嬉戏玩耍，让人感受到“鱼戏莲叶间”的优美意境！

夏月，是荷花开花的季节。你看那些小小的荷花还没来得及绽放，就已经有可爱的蜻蜓在上面，活泼的小鱼儿在下面尽情玩耍。那些小巧玲珑的花骨朵儿更是各显姿态：瞧！这些花有的三三两两个偎依；有的谁也不理会谁，独自在旁边发呆；还有的呢？就像个多情的诗人，望着天空，可能是在构思什么充满魔幻色彩的诗篇吧。

夏天，悠悠地静坐在荷塘边，美丽的荷花相继开放，相继抑起了清秀的脸庞。花蕊在一层一层的荷花中，显得十分神秘。白里透红的荷花瓣一片一片的紧包裹着，上面的晶莹露珠透亮的发光发亮，可爱极了！你看，荷花如仙子独坐碧舟中，又似刚出浴的美人，又像妙龄少女在湖边翩翩起舞，真可谓是“万绿丛中点点红”！

荷花的香味特殊，随风四散，沁人心脾。引得游人驻足，引得天空中蜻蜓飞来飞去，水中鱼儿游来游去！

八月，联合收敛了自己的芳容，都变成了一个个大莲蓬。清晨，爸爸划着小船穿梭于莲蓬间，去摘那成熟的莲蓬，然后挑到集市上去卖，还会送给左邻右舍。

荷花高雅纯洁，可供观赏；荷叶圆圆，可当应急伞；莲藕美味可做美味佳肴；莲子清热去火，可入药。

“出淤泥而不染，濯清涟而不妖。”这句话是对荷花最好的诠释。荷花在中国、日本、朝鲜、韩国……都是和神仙、佛祖相伴的，因此她们的身上沾染了许多仙气。传说到底是不是这样的，谁也不知道，不过，这并不影响我喜爱荷花。
