平原公园每年的秋季都要举办菊花展览，展览期间俨然就是花的海洋。

植物有千千万万种，而我独爱荷花。“接天莲叶无穷碧，映日荷花别样红”就是对荷花的赞美呢！

夏天一到，碧绿的荷叶铺满了整个池塘，荷花在朵朵绿叶中挺立着，千姿百态，有的还是花骨朵，里面一定住着美丽的荷花仙子吧？有的只是探出头，像个害羞的小姑娘。有的全展开了，一片片柔嫩的花瓣排列成圆形，包裹着嫩黄色的花蕊，宛若清新脱俗的仙子，微风拂过，娇艳的花瓣随风摇动，似乎在像我们点头示好。

荷花不仅长得美，还有很大的用途呢！荷花盛开之后留下了好吃的莲蓬，是清火的良药，莲蓬还可以做菜，营养基质非常高。荷花的根是我们再熟悉不过的莲藕，我非常喜欢妈妈做的糖醋藕片，好吃得不得了！

“小荷才露尖尖角，早有蜻蜓立上头”，我想，蜻蜓也像我一样，被荷花的美打动了吧！
