波路是一种美化绿植，高约二十厘米，可放在一些显眼的地方做摆设。它的母株附近长有许多小叶片，十分繁茂，有的波路的叶片多达四五十片呢！波路的叶片与众不同，叶面呈三角形，根部颜色较深，越顶端颜色越浅。叶面上一条由白色小刺组成的线分外明显，叶背上也有一条线形的小刺。
