I’m looking forward to the coming of my winter holiday. In order to have a

good time in the vacation, I have made a plan for it. At first, my mother must

“垃圾分一分，环境美十分！”“垃圾分类我能行，绿色生活我先行！”看着小区里新出现的一条条醒目红色横幅，我的记忆不禁穿梭到了几年之前。

记得前几年在德国旅游的时候，我在超市里看到一台陌生的机器，它有点像自动取款机，但面板上一个又大又圆又深的孔洞宣告了它另有用途。正巧此时有人来使用，我便好奇地在一边观察。这人拎着个布袋子，里面装了大大小小十几只空塑料瓶。只见他把塑料瓶条形码朝上依次从圆孔放入，瓶子经过扫描后就“扑通、扑通”地被吞了进去。全部放完之后，旁边的屏幕显示出塑料瓶的总数和一个金额，他按下确认键，机器随即“唰”一下吐出一张卡片，他放进口袋就离开了。这机器挺受欢迎，我饶有兴趣地连着看了好几个人进行相同的操作。同时我发现：人们投进机器的塑料瓶都是干干净净的，并没有残余的饮料和水。

当地的朋友看我很感兴趣，热情地向我介绍说：这是塑料瓶回收机，每个超市都有这个机器。因为德国每一瓶水的售价都包含了至少0。25欧元的空瓶押金，远远高于饮料本身，所以德国人习惯了把空塑料瓶洗干净后带到超市投入回收机器，凭打印的小票可以在结账时抵扣货款，或者直接换成现金。也有人会把空瓶送到专门的地方，让无家可归者拿去换钱。

我们对喝瓶装水和瓶装饮料早已习以为常，喝完顺手扔进垃圾桶，渴了再买一瓶，多方便啊！但是，能主动把塑料瓶投进垃圾桶还算好的，有很多塑料瓶被人们图方便随手丢弃在马路边，草坪中，甚至河道里，虽然不情愿但又不得不承认，我们对此似乎也习以为常了……

上海是个现代化国际大都市，在很多方面都毫不逊色于发达国家；但在垃圾分类回收这件事上，我们的观念和行动都落后了。好的观念要有好的措施来配合，才能相得益彰，发挥更大作用。

Girls at a training course offered by the "Care for Girls" program in

Qingjian county, Shaanxi province, talked about their pursuit of dreams despite

living in unfavorable conditions.

the program helps girls in underdeveloped regions to build their self-esteem and

"I want to be a teacher teaching Chinese because I like Chinese and

and wife have rural residential permits can have another child if their first is

a daughter. Yan said she isnt planning on adding to the family because she

wants to give her daughter the best she has.

"My husband is away most of the time, working in construction sites and

making no more than 30,000 yuan ($4,840) a year. I work as an hourly worker

sometimes. The rent of our apartment is expensive. One more child means one more

burden," Yan said.

Speaking about how she plans to achieve her dream of becoming a teacher, Xi

said: "I will not give up on my dream easily, though I know it may be difficult.

分类的目的

一是减少生活垃圾的产生和需要处理的生活垃圾量。

Skiing is a desirable activity fro＇ young people. It provides the excitement that the youth is commonly seeking. The skiers can enjoy the thrill of gliding at tremendous speed down a gleaming,white mountain slope. I had a great time throughout my may day holiday.

On monday, i went bbq with my classmates who threw a celebration party at our middle school principles flat. our parents were invited to the party. everybody was excited about the holiday. i ate a lot of delicious food at that time.

On tuesday, i went visiting my uncles family with my parents. we went to celebrate our good time at a fancy restaurant in shanghai. later that day, we sang karaoke in my uncles house. we stayed for the night.

On wednesday, i went shopping with my cousins. we bought some brand name t-shirts and pants. in the afternoon, my cousins gave me a fun ride on the city highway. they also taught me how to drive their fancy car, so i tried to do some turning and parking. it was not easy first. but i learnt quick.

on thursday, we returned home with many gifts from our trip. i tried to get some rest. at night, i chatted with my classmates on the phone, and i watched cctv before going to bed.

改革开放三十几年来，我们身边的环境发生了许多的变化：不知你们有没有注意，现在城市居民的家庭每天都会产生的生活垃圾越来越多;现在城市科技的发达每天都会涌出的废气污水越来越多;现在城市生活的快捷每天都会堆积的白色垃圾越来越多。这些环境每天都在自己的身边转来转去，难道我们不应该尽自己的责任去保护她吗?

据说，目前随着工业化进程的深入与发展，大量温室气体，尤其是二氧化碳的排出，导致全球气温升高、气候发生变化，这已是不争的事实。可见，城市的污染对地球已有严重的危害，处在如此环境中的我们觉悟了：城市环境保护基础设施进一步完善，城市生活污水集中处理率达到95%，污水处理厂污泥无害化处理率达到90%，城市生活垃圾无害化处理率100%。即使得到了改善，但我们依然要保持这样的佳绩，随着城市人口的增长，城市科技的发达，城市生活的方便，身边的垃圾必然日益增加。

我们每个人每天都会扔出许多垃圾，它们通常是先被送到堆放场，然后再送去填埋。垃圾填埋的费用是高昂的，处理一吨垃圾的费用约为200元至300元人民币。人们大量地消耗资源，大规模生产，大量地消费，又大量地产生着废弃物，而我们能做的就是将垃圾分类。

在社区生活中常见的可回收垃圾主要有：

废纸：报纸、书本纸、包装用纸、办公用纸、广告用纸、纸盒等;

塑料：各种塑料袋、塑料泡沫、塑料包装、一次性塑料餐盒餐具、硬塑料、塑料杯子、矿泉水瓶等;

玻璃：玻璃瓶和碎玻璃片、镜子、灯泡、暖瓶等;

金属：易拉罐、铁皮罐头盒、牙膏皮等。

布料：主要包括废弃衣服、桌布、毛巾、布包等。

不可回收垃圾包括：烟头、果皮、菜叶、鸡毛、煤渣、建筑垃圾、油漆颜料、食品残留物等等。需要注意的，废电池、日光灯管、水银温度计、油漆筒、药品、化妆品等都是有毒垃圾，需要特别的处理。

Glad to have got your letter. It makes me exciting that you are coming to

Nanjing and stay here for a week. I think we can meet each other and have a good

time together. Now, let me tell you something about Suzhou. Suzhou is famous for

its beautiful gardens. According to official datas, there are more than100 in

total. They have enjoy great popularity in history for a long time. Among them,

the Tiger Hill is my favorite. Thousands of years ago, a king was said to be

buried there with his treasure. For such a long time, many people explored these

treasure but nobody have found. Except for this legend, the scenery there is

beautiful and we can enjoy it there. I have taken some pictures there, and I

will send you some via e-mail. Suzhou is worthy of visting. I am look forward to

your coming early.
