为实现“垃圾回收大行动”活动，我校大队部于2010年11月8日，成立鞍马池小学“小凤凰银行”。

回收物品

各班学生于本内，将校内和校外拾到并收集起来的报纸、易拉罐、塑料瓶等垃圾物品，以班级为单位(分袋子)集中起来。

每月15日，各班的各种垃圾的数量和单价、总价，在大队部门口将予以公示。

实际用途

通过各班每月的积累，作为一种小小的班级补贴，供班级开展活动和急需的班费使用，以及校级的捐款活动中使用。

在分类时，我曾向爸爸请教，电池可以回收吗？爸爸告诉我，电池是有毒有害物质，必须回收。我访问了电脑，知道了“一粒纽扣电池可污染60万升水，等于一个人一生的饮水量。一节电池烂在地里，能够使一平方米的土地失去利用价值”。没想到小小的电池会带来这么大的危害。所以，废电池属于可回收垃圾，必须经过回收，不能随便丢弃。为此，市环保局曾在市区内定点设置了300多个废旧电池回收箱。看来，垃圾分类的用处可真大。但垃圾分类究竟有什么好处呢？于是，我决定再访问一次电脑。

今天早上，妈妈在厨房打扫卫生，我忽然想起电视上说的垃圾分类，便想趁这个机会，分一分类。为地球添一份“健康”。

曾经在电视上看过人们对垃圾的厌恶：垃圾是危害我们的“毒品”，是破坏地球的“犯人”，我觉得垃圾并没有做错什么，他只是被我们人类放错地方的资源，他们也许也存在利用的价值。

虽然我们的城市已经有许多不辞辛劳的环卫工人，但仅仅依靠这些环卫工人，还是远远不够的，更要靠我们自觉地把垃圾分类，丢进合适的垃圾桶。这些垃圾才可能变废为宝，经过回收在进行利用不仅仅可以减少对地球的污染，保护环境，还可以大大提高地球中资源的利用效率。

电视上说垃圾分类有很多：可回收垃圾，不可回收垃圾，有毒有害垃圾。

我把纸制，布制品与塑料制品放进一个塑料袋，上面贴着一个标签，写着“可回收”。把洗涤剂，剩饭放进另一个个塑料袋，标签上写的是“不可回收”。最后把废电池，电子产品，过期药品放入剩下的袋子，标签上写了“有毒有害”。

下楼倒垃圾时，我把可回收垃圾丢在绿色垃圾桶，把不可回收垃圾丢在黄色垃圾桶，有害垃圾应该丢在什么颜色的垃圾桶呢？当然是红色垃圾桶。

The quality of human life has improved greatly over the past few centuries, but Earth is being harmed more and more by human activity. As we develop our technology, we demand more from our planet. Eventually, this will harm people as well.

如果所有的垃圾都能按照可回收垃圾、不可回收垃圾和危险垃圾来分好类别，将会对垃圾的处理带来极大的方便，从而保持生态环境不受污染，人们的身体更加健康，社会也将更加和谐。

My mother has no idea that her ninetieth birthday is coming up. She has no notion of the time of day, the day of the week. the season of the year, the year of the century. No notion of the approaching millennium. And no idea any longer, who I am. Her forgetting of me happened just a few months ago, after I had been traveling for more than a month and hadnt been to see her. When I came back, she asked me if I were her niece, l said no, I was her daughter. "Does that mean I had you?" she asked. 1 said yes. "Where was I when l had you?" she asked me.
