一.名词

写作中，学生们常把握不好名词的数、所有格以及一些集合名词的用法。

1.Hegavemeaverygoodadviceyesterday.

句中的a要去掉，因为advice是不可数名词。一些汉语概念为可数的词在英语中却是不可数的，表示数量时在要其前加apieceof，类似的词有：news,bread,work,paper,chalk,furniture,information等等。

2.Thatgirllovesreadingbook.

可数名词单数不能孤零零地放在句子里，或前面加冠词，或将其变为复数。此处最好变为books.

3.Hewentintoabooksshopandboughtadictionary.

一般表示有生命的东西的名词的所有格用’s，如mymother’scar,而此处适宜用名词修饰名词，改为abookshop.

4.MyfamilyiswatchingTV.

一些集合名词如看成一个整体，则用单数的谓语动词，如Myfamilyisahappyone.如果强调集合中每个个体的个人行为，则用复数的谓语动词。此处看电视是个体行为，应把is改为are。类似的词有：team,class,audience等。

5.Iboughtsomepotatosandtomatosatthesupermarket.

中学阶段，以“o”结尾的名词中有四个词变复数时要加es，它们是tomato,potato,Negro,hero;其余的都加s变为复数。

6.Thishasnothingtodowiththeirbelieves.（这和他们的信仰没关系。）

以f,fe结尾的词变为复数时一般去f,fe加ves，如knife—knives,

thief—thieves;而roof和belief直接加s变为复数。所以应把believes改为beliefs.

二.冠词

用a还是an，取决于后面单词音标中的第一个音，如为元音用an，为辅音用a。useful的第一个音是辅音所以应把an改为a。类似的，我们说aEuropeancountry.

8.Planeisamachinethatcanfly.

plane为可数名词单数，不能单独放在句中，应在其前加冠词或把它变为复数，而本句后有amachine,因此只能在其前面加a，变为Aplane。

9.Heplayedapianoatthepartyyesterday.

把a改为the，因为乐器前用定冠词。

10.Themachinewasinventedin1920s.

在in后加the，因为表示年代用in加the再加几十的复数，如在八十年代inthe80s。

去掉the，因为表示交通方式用by直接加交通工具。

三.代词

使用代词时请注意其单、复数，主、宾格以及形容词性物主代词和名词性物主代词的用法。

定语从句的先行词是thosespeakers，为复数，因此从句中的指示代词应为复数，应把his改为their。

四.数词

hundred/thousand/million/score/dozen等词前有具体数字时后不加s，前面没有具体数字时在其后加s和of，表示大约几百几千的概念。如two

hundredstudents（两百个学生），hundredsofstudents（成百上千个学生）。例句中应把hundreds改为hundred。

17.Theirschoolistwiceaslargerasourschool.

表倍数关系的as...as中间只能用形容词或副词的原级。因此应把larger改为large.

18.Today’shomeworkisafive-hundred-wordscomposition.

几个单词由连字符连接而组成的复合形容词中的名词只能用单数，所以把five-hundred-words改为five-hundred-word.

英语表达中分数的分子用基数词，分母用序数词，分子大于一时分母后要加s，所以就把third改为thirds.

五.形容词和副词

形容词和副词容易被误用，形容词和副词的比较级和最高级也是应注意的重点。

Christmas Day is on December 25th, though it originated in the western

country, now it is popular around the world. In China, people will spend that

day happily, they will eat apples on Christmas Eve, the children will put the

多么美好的画面啊！可是现在……

垃圾桶旁，到处可见五颜六色、千姿百态的垃圾，它们有的在垃圾桶旁睡大觉，有的在较远的地方晒太阳……一阵阵恶臭引来无数苍蝇和老鼠在这里爬上爬下，人们经过这里，忍不住捂住鼻子，顺手把喝了一半的饮料，吃了一半的零食，像投篮一样投了进去，而一旁绿化带上的小草，耷拉着脑袋，早已枯黄、腐烂……

我为周围环境的恶化而感到心痛，我决定，保护环境从自身做起。

我从网上了解到，垃圾共分为三类：可回收垃圾、不可回收垃圾、有毒有害垃圾。垃圾就像人类一样，也有自己的家庭，所以我们平时要把垃圾安放在一个适合它的“家”。

这天晚上，爸爸正准备和往常一样，把喝完的饮料瓶随手扔进垃圾桶，我及时地制止了他，爸爸不解的看着我，我严肃的告诉他：“饮料瓶是可回收垃圾，它们经过处理后，可以再次利用，变成新的宝贝。”“哦！”爸爸缩回了伸在半空中的手，笑眯眯地看着我：“那么，什么是不可回收垃圾呢？”我不假思索，立刻回答道：“果皮、菜皮、剩菜等厨房垃圾就是不可回收的。”爸爸投来了赞许的目光：“瑶瑶，你长大了！”

垃圾分类，从你我做起！

星期二，我们快乐小队去中北社区参加垃圾分类的活动。九点到了，人还没齐，我们在那里打打闹闹，抢小红帽，石头剪刀布。这时，社区老师给我们发了一本《杭州市生活垃圾分类操作指南》，我就仔细地看了起来。

接着，老师先讲垃圾分类的重要性，还提了几个小问题。因为我对环保感兴趣，所以这可难不倒我。老师又给我们几张代表垃圾的卡片，让我们分类投放，看看会不会出错，我们全组都投对了。接着就开始到小区捡垃圾了，并把它们分类投放。这条小路看上去很干净，其实还有很多垃圾，但是我们干得很起劲，而且没人出错。一会儿夏吉尔捡到一块好大好大的瓷砖，把它扔进黄色垃圾桶。一会儿李美池捡到旧灯管，把它扔进了红色垃圾桶，我捡到了一个装满泥土的矿泉水瓶，就把瓶盖拧开，把土倒进黄色垃圾桶，把瓶盖和瓶子扔进蓝色垃圾桶。大家干得热火朝天。

这次小队活动让我们深刻了解了垃圾分类的意义，我们要保护环境，爱护地球。把垃圾分类宣传出去，让爷爷奶奶们也知道它的重要性，并立刻行动起来！

每次从学校走回家，都会有各种各样的垃圾分类的标语映入眼帘，什么垃圾分一分，环境美十分，什么垃圾要分类，生活变完美，看得人厌烦，就这么一件垃圾分类的事情，搞得太烦了，这不，家里为了这件事情，差点引发家庭大战。

对于这个话题，我只是粗略地知道一些可回收垃圾......在我的家中，一家人对于垃圾分类，有不同的想法。

依旧是大家其乐融融地吃好晚饭，一起收拾了桌子，爷爷看到家中的垃圾桶满了，随手拎起装满的垃圾袋，准备到楼下去扔垃圾，此时，妈妈似乎想到了什么，拉住爷爷，叮嘱道：“爸，小区物业提醒了要注意垃圾分类，不要扔错位置了......”爷爷头一歪，打断了妈妈的话：“这又有什么关系呢?我都扔了几十年了，从不讲垃圾分类，扔错了位置也没有关系。”妈妈听了，有些生气，但更怕爷爷有想法，只好任由爷爷往门外走去。

几天之后，妈妈买回几个颜色不同的垃圾桶，我正疑惑，却看见垃圾桶上分别写着：可回收垃圾，厨余垃圾，其它垃圾......

爷爷见妈妈买回了垃圾桶，虽然当面没有说什么背地里向我抱怨：“净费钱，还想教育我垃圾分类呢!没门!”他依然像往常一样爱扔哪里扔哪里。

此时我正好参加了一个关于垃圾分类的实践活动，真正认识到了垃圾分类的重要性，对于爷爷的做法，我有些气愤。如何才能让爷爷明白垃圾分类的重要性呢?

一天，爷爷又将出门扔垃圾，我立刻行使了我是家里小霸主的权利，拦住他，：“这是可回收垃圾，应该扔到蓝色垃圾桶里。”爷爷正想说什么，我急忙又说：“垃圾分类是每个人应该做的，为了保护环境，我们应该一致行动起来，提倡‘垃圾分类我能行’，使环境不再污染，变得更好!”爷爷低头想了想，无奈地说“好!”我继续说：“垃圾分为可回收垃圾和不可回收垃圾”。爷爷点了点头，把手中的可回收垃圾扔进了蓝色桶。以后的几次，爷爷在我有监督下终于每次都扔对了，看到爷爷的改变，我笑了，妈妈也笑了。

我们每个人都有属于自己的家，那么垃圾也有它自己的“家”，所以我们要把垃圾安放在一个适合它的“家”。垃圾分类不难，只是我们举手之劳。垃圾分类，从我做起，从小事做起，从身边做起。积极参与垃圾分类，共创优美社会环境。
