Whatever one does, one should do it with confidence. If one has no confidence, there is little possibility that one would ever achieve anything, especially when one is faced with drawbacks or hardships. This troth seems to be self-evident. However, in reality we do see a lot of people who complain that they lack the ability to do ,something or that their difficulties are too great to be overcome,For someone, this might be true. But for many others, this only shows that they have lost heart.

Why do people often feel frustrated even though they are capable of doing some thing? There are, among others, two main reasons. First, these people do not have a correct estimate of themselves. Second, they overestimate the difficulties.

It is passible to build up faith in oneself by having the right attitude towards ones own abilities. We should never underesrimate our abilities but should believe in the proverb: "Where there is a will, there is a way." Confidence is the promise for fulfilling a task successfully.

3、请您在日常生活中为孩子做好表率，实行垃圾分类投放，引导孩子按照标识能对餐厨垃圾、可回收垃圾、有害垃圾以及其他垃圾进行正确投放。

4、请您适宜控制家庭垃圾数量，养成好的生活习惯，如家庭中少使用或不用一次性用品、塑料袋;少制造垃圾，特别是不易分解和有毒有害的垃圾，能循环再用的用品必须做到循环再用。

垃圾分类的概念

垃圾分类是指按照不同的成分、属性、利用价值以及对环境的影响，并根据不同处置方式要求，将垃圾分成属性不同的若干种类。通俗地讲，垃圾分类就是在源头将垃圾分类投放，并通过分类收集、分类运输和分类处置，从而实现垃圾的减量化、资源化和无害化。

Yesterday, my parents were not home. And I had to stay at home by myself for one day and one night. I was very happy at first, because there wouldnt be anyone criticizes my behavior. I can do whatever I want. But later I felt desperate. There was nobody cook for me, asked me to do things or criticized me. I felt empty and desperate as the house is only me. When the night fell, I was afraid. The computer games or the cartoons couldn’t attract my attention. I hate living alone.

昨天，我的父母不在家。我得自己一个人呆上一天一夜。我一开始很开心，因为没人会批评我的行为了。我可以做任何我想做的事。但后来我感到很郁闷。没人给我做饭，没人叫我做事情也没有人批评我。整个房子只有我一个人，我感到很空虚和郁闷。当夜幕降临的时候，我就开始很害怕了。电脑游戏或动画片都无法吸引我的注意。我讨厌一个人生活。

Christmas Day is very popular around the world, when that day comes, we can

see the Christmas products sell everywhere, though Christmas Day is not

originating from China, in our country, more and more people spend that day. A

foreigner pointed out that Christmas meant to be grateful for them, while for

Chinese people, it was just a day for celebrating. To me, Christmas indeed means

a day to have fun.

When I was small, I did not have the concept of Christmas, because in my

mind, I only knew Chinese traditional festivals, I liked Spring Festival best, I

could get a lot of money from parents. When I went to high school, all of my

friends would talk about Christmas Day when the day was near, so I started to

know it. Almost every young people like Christmas, but if you ask them what the

meaning of the day, less of them can answer.

The meaning of Christmas Day is to remind people of Jesus’s birth, it is so

important for the western people, but for me, I only want to have fun, everyone

is celebrating it, so I join them, being happy, that’s enough for me.

城市化进程日益加快，城市人口越来越多，工业化、自动化水平不断提高，人们对生活质量的要求已经越来越高，而我们产生的生活垃圾数量也越来越多，成分越来越复杂。垃圾填埋占用大量土地，垃圾焚烧带来有毒有害的气体，这该怎么办呢？这就应该给生活垃圾分分类了。

在暑假里，我们就开展了“垃圾分类”的活动。

在垃圾分类前，我先学习了一下垃圾有哪几类：“可回收垃圾”有废纸类、废塑料、废金属、废玻璃和布料等：“厨余垃圾”有菜根菜叶、米饭、面食等：“有害垃圾”有废电池、温度计、涂改液等，还有“其他垃圾”是卫生纸、球类等。知道这些分类后，我便开始分类了。

把吃剩的饭菜、用过的纸巾等倒入灰色垃圾桶；把玩具的包装纸，用旧的草稿纸，还有喝过的牛奶盒等，都放入绿垃圾桶，让它们再次循环利用。

眼看着我们家的垃圾废品一天天多了起来，我没有放松和随意过。在垃圾分类时，我每天还要多看一眼垃圾分类指导手册。到后来，那本手册已经被我翻得破破烂烂的了。

终于有一天妈妈说：“今天我们把可回收的垃圾整理一下。有些还可以当废品拿来卖呢！”我连声说好。

我和妈妈一起来到地下车库里。妈妈让我再根据可回收垃圾和不可回收垃圾，分分类。

来到地下车库，一看，哇，我们产生的生活垃圾真多呀！这里一筐书，那里一袋报纸，几件旧衣服，我忙得不亦乐乎。我把书叠成一堆，纸板箱一个个压平叠起来，把旧衣服折叠好。在我不停的劳动下，垃圾都摆好了。

当收废品的大伯伯到来时，都表扬我特别能干呢！我开心极了！

随着大伯伯不断地指导我，我分类的技术也越来越厉害，最终我学会了真正的垃圾分类。我还用卖废品得来的80块钱买了我最喜欢的书呢！

同学们，请伸出我们的小手，动动手，积极参加“垃圾分类的活动”吧！我相信，今天分一分，明天美十分！
