能力越来越重要了，但请不要轻视学习。现在大家都在喊：现代社会不看重学习，能力才是最重要。但是不见得学习就不重要啊，我要告诉大家：学习也是一种能力，是一种更大的能力。总说自己学习能力不足，其他能力超群，清华北大的学生都是一些高分低能的废物，想一想，这样的话中允吗?学习永远是学生的天职，请大家不要逃避，更不要瞧不起那些爱学习和学习好的学生。何以见得学习好了，能力就差了呢?

虽然我们不是最优秀的，但我们千万别失去信心。“自信人生二百年，会当击水三千里”。自大的人很可怕，但缺少自信会使人更可怕，畏首畏尾地，到头来什么也干不了。有些人一想到考研难就给自己戴上了考不过去的帽子，于是乎不考了，这样的人不是在考场上被别人打倒了，而是被自己吓倒了。不要一再强调我们的院校不好，因为我们的学生也能考入全国的名校像吉大、东师、黑大等。我的好多同学，在比我好的院校上大学，但他们四级也没过，考研也没考。不自信，干什么事都不会放得开，自己只能看着别人获得成功后的喜悦，这样会给自己带来极大的困惑，严重阻碍自己的发展。

大学生活很丰富，但不要一味地盲从。来到大学生活真的变了，除了高中的学习外，有很多活动、讲座、比赛，还有许多社会上的东西，在学校都可以看到。有些东西很新鲜，大家都想去尝试，不过我提醒大家，不要一味盲从，流行的东西不一定是好的。另外，考研和考公务员也一样，有些人根本没明确自己的目的就去考了，这样的行动有什么意义?这样还会有强大的动力吗?

学习是学生的天职，但培养其他能力也非常重要。学习很重要，但绝对不要走极端，只去学习什么也不管了，因为人是一个社会的人，你要及早地步入社会，掌握生存的能力。我在大学中一直担任学生干部，先后任学生会部长，副主席，兼任班级团支书，说实话，在工作期间我得到了很多很多，我想如果我没做学生干部我会失去很多的。在这些大大小小的活动中，我学会了与人交往的能力，学会了互助合作，学会了把握对方的心理，学会了宽容与忍让……

In my 18 years of life, there have been many things. University days are the best part of them. I can never forget the days when I stepped into my university. I was impressed by its garden-like campus, its enthusiastic students and especially its learning atmosphere. I at once fell in love with it.

After the arduous military training, I get absolutely absorbed in my studies. The classes given by the teachers are excellent. They provide us with information not only from our textbooks but from many other sources as well. They easily arouse my insatiable desire to take in as much as I can.

Frankly speaking, at first I had some difficulty following the teachers. However, through my own efforts and thanks to my teachers guidance, I made remarkable progress. Now Ive benefited a lot from lectures and many other academic reports.

Learning is a long process; Ill keep exploring in the treasure house of knowledge to enrich myself. This summer I got out of the ivory tower and entered the real world. A publishing house offered me a part-time job in compilation and revision.

At the beginning I was belittled by my colleagues. But they were really surprised when I translated seven English articles over 5,000 words on only one day. Gradually, they began to look at me with respectful eyes. In their opinion I turned out to be a useful and trustworthy colleague.

I also realize that only those who bring happinefor others can be truly happy. So I often take part in activities concerning public welfare. I once went to a barren mountain village with my classmates. We taught the kids there who could not afford school. The farewell day would the least expected day in my life, but it has come eventually. At this momnet, I have to say that it is such a priviliage and honor to have worked with you guys shoulder on shouldr over the last four years. We went through a lot and achieved a lot. When I look back and think about the past, I feel so pround and accomplished not only because of the knowledge I have learnt and the progress I have made in my study, but also because the geniue friendship I have obtained with you guys.

I used to think I had just come to this school. I didnt think that I would leave.

When I first entered the campus, I never thought that one day it would have so much dissatisfaction with it. At that time, I felt that this campus would restrict me and limit my freedom. Im in my third year now in Environmental Sciences. And what do I want to do with my B.S. once I graduate? Become a librarian. Yes, I know it sounds completely random and unrelated, but thats my master plan. Right now Im preparing for all those crazy grad school applications that Ill be sending in next fall. In my 18 years of life， there have been many things. University days are the best part of them. I can never forget the days when I stepped into my university. I was impressed by its garden-like campus， its enthusiastic students and especially its learning atmosphere. I at once fell in love with it.

After the arduous military training， I get absolutely absorbed in my studies. The classes given by the teachers are excellent. They provide us with information not only from our textbooks but from many other sources as well. They easily arouse my insatiable desire to take in as much as I can.

Frankly speaking， at first I had some difficulty following the teachers. However， through my own efforts and thanks to my teachers guidance， I made remarkable progress. Now Ive benefited a lot from lectures and many other academic reports.

Learning is a long process; Ill keep exploring in the treasure house of knowledge to enrich myself. This summer I got out of the ivory tower and entered the real world. A publishing house offered me a part-time job in compilation and revision.
