长大后，懂事的我越来越爱看书了，每天都要看，少看一天都不行，成了一个不折不扣的“小书虫″。为此，我还闹出了笑话呢!记得有一次，妈妈让我烧水，烧水时，我便拿起一本书，津津有味地品读书中的精彩内容，看得忘乎所以。结果，水壶被烧坏了，搞得满屋子烟。这时，妈妈看见了，就问我怎么回事。我这时才回过神来。“糟糕!我的水呢?”妈妈见我这副模样，无可奈何地唉声叹气：唉!你这个小书虫!我提醒过你多少次了……’’

虽然我因为看书误了事,但我仍然爱读书.因为从书中,我学会了许多知识,悟出了许多道理,认识许多朋友：丑小鸭、快乐王子、孙悟空、鲁迅、冰心、爱迪生……读书还使我的作文水平提高了不少呢!

Many people are active in fighting against unfair treatment to colored people, women , animals and so on. Right now I am talking about fighting for respect to our environment. Though the environment doesn’t have a mouth to deprecate what humans have done to her, she retaliates through action. In the early years the Chinese cut down large quantities of trees, at the source of the yellow river, which led to the disappearance of big forests and terrible floods.

As a result，the Huangtu plateau which was once covered with grass and forests was turned into barrens that supported fewer plants. Another example was in several developed countries. Because many chemical factories discharged poisonous gas without filtering it, cities were covered with so much poisonous gas that people were killed by the air they breathed in. What horrible scene! What we are suffering is only a small part of what the nature once suffered. If we don’t take action to show respect to the environment, we will have to face an increasingly awful situation. Measures should be taken to protect the environment on which we are relying.

First governments should forbid destroying vegetation, rivers and lakes, oceans, as and the atmosphere as well. Second voices should be made to announce the public of the importance of protecting the environment. Third enterprises should pay special attention to the effect they have on the environment and work out solutions for the problems. Only  changing the way we treat the environment can we get along well with it. Only by saving the environment can we save ourselves.

香烟是危害人体健康的一位温柔的“杀手”，据媒体报道，吸烟的人容易得多种疾病，如肺炎、支气管炎、心血管疾病等等，吸一包香烟相当于减少1小时的生命。

我看过爸爸20多岁时的照片，那时的她白白胖胖，脸色红润。可不知什么时候起，爸爸每天都要吸一包烟。慢慢的，他的牙齿变黑了，手指变黄了，身上散发出一股难闻的烟味。我见了他，躲都来不及。我和妈妈几次劝爸爸戒烟，可他却说：“现在生活安定了，也该学着享受，再说，吸烟的男人有风度嘛！”虽说我们心里不高兴，但妈妈心软，最后还是由着她。

过了不久，我发现爸爸开始咳嗽，那声音越来越响了。先是轻轻的几声，然后是连续不断的咳嗽。有时咳得脸发红，连眼泪都流出来了。每天晚上，还没看见他回家，就可以听见他那刺耳的咳嗽声了，那声音听起来像七八十岁的老人一样苍老。爸爸实在熬不过，就只好求助医生。经过医生诊断，发现爸爸得了气管炎，这下，爸爸不得不下决心戒烟了。有时见爸爸实在忍不住了，我就把零食往他的嘴里塞，这个办法还真管用。

现在，爸爸长胖了，胃口开了，精神也饱满起来了。爸爸也主动把原来用来吸烟的钱补贴家用，有时也给我买学习用品、玩具，给妈妈购买衣服、营养品。现在，我的家里又充满了欢声笑语。

Cigarettes are endangering human health a gentle "killer", according to media reports, smokers prone to many diseases, such as pneumonia, bronchitis, cardiovascular disease, etc., 1 hour less smoke a pack of cigarettes is equivalent to life.

I saw the pictures of my father in his 20s when she was fat and red. I dont know when my father would smoke a pack of cigarettes every day. Slowly, his teeth blackened, his fingers turned yellow, and he smelled a bad smell. I saw him, and it was too late to hide. My mother and I advised my father to give up smoking a few times, but he said, "now that life is settled, we should learn to enjoy it. Besides, the man who smokes has grace!" Every night, before he could see him go home, he could hear his shrill cough, which sounded as old as an old man in his 70s and 80s. Dad couldnt survive but he had to go to the doctor. After the doctors diagnosis, he was found to be suffering from bronchitis, and the father had to make up his mind to quit smoking. Sometimes I cant help seeing my father, but Im putting a snack in his mouth, and it works.

Now my father is fat, his appetite is open and his spirit is full. My father also offered to subsidize the money used for smoking. Sometimes he also bought me school supplies, toys, clothes and nutrition for my mother. Now my home is full of laughter.

With the development of e-commerce, shopping online becomes a new way of shopping which is getting more and more popular. Many citizens are likely to shop through internet nowadays.

随着电子商务的发展，网上购物成为一种新的购物方式，越来越受欢迎。许多市民可能现在通过网上商店。

Generally speaking, shopping online offers lots of advantages with its convenience the most prominent. There are many commodities on the internet where you can search whatever you want. Besides, you just click the mouse can you get all information you want, so that you don’t have to go to the shop personally. In addtition, the commodities on the Internet is usually cheaper than the stores which can save much money.
