The Lantern Festival which occurs on the 15-th day of the First Month of the Chinese Year marks the end of the New Years Holidays.

Lanterns are everywhere. A most interesting tradition is the posting of riddles called Lantern Riddles. Riddles are written on pieces of paper and posted on lanterns or wall. Any one solving the riddle is awarded a prize. And the food for lantern festival is Tang Yuan i have made some Tang Yuan in a ginger soup my wife got a serious cold so i cooked a pot of ginger soup for her. I look forward to the next spring festival.

My favorite animal is the panda. On one occasion, I saw in the zoo character is very lively, lovely, however is not flexible giant pandas.

The giant panda has a round belly, black and white, I saw it, thought it was a big red! The giant panda one foot is white, a foot black... Can be interesting. First saw the giant panda, I thought the panda didnt sleep well, eyes all black.

Pandas will only eat bamboo not only, also eat other food. I see, a breeder is a large, round, sweet and fragrant, the big apple thrown to the pandas there. 我最喜欢的动物，就是大熊猫了。有一次，我在动物园看见了性格非常活泼、可爱，然而又不是灵活的大熊猫。

大熊猫长着圆滚滚的肚子、黑白相间，我一看见它，以为是一个大花球呢!大熊猫一只脚白，一只脚黑……可有趣了。第一次看见大熊猫时，我还以为大熊猫没睡好觉呢，眼睛全是黑的了。

大熊猫不光只会吃竹子，还吃其它食物。我见到有一位饲养员把一个又大又圆、又香又甜的大苹果扔向了大熊猫那边。大熊猫被大苹果的香味吸引住了，立刻起身慢悠悠地走去大苹果那。观众见大熊猫走路时一高一低的，不禁笑了起来。它便吃苹果来，它一口咬下去就是一半，吃完以后又回到草坪睡起了大觉。它吃竹子的时候，更是引人注意。它一口咬下竹子，我们听见一阵“咯咯咯”……的声音，好像是在演奏一曲动听的曲子。

它和其它的熊猫在嬉戏。奔跑在又大又长的草坪上，似乎在运动场上比赛跑步呢!小熊猫在熊猫妈妈那儿吃着香香的奶，小熊猫似乎吃得津津有味，可熊猫妈妈坐在大石头上任由小熊猫摆布，一动不动，呆呆地坐在那儿。大熊猫只要高兴，就会在草坪上一边撒欢，一边奔跑。它只要心情不好，它谁也不理，坐在石头上呆若木鸡地发呆。大熊猫有时候很乖，有时候却非常调皮。

那天，我仍然依依不舍地离开了大熊猫，离开了动物园。啊!我是多么喜欢大熊猫呀!

The Mid-Autumn Festival is a very important Chinese festival. It’s on the fifth of August. We can hang lanterns in the house. In the evening,we have a big dinner. Look,there is lots of food on the table. They are chicken,fish,crabs and so on. They’re very delicious. We can drink a glass of juice.

We stand beside the table and we say,“Cheers,cheers,happy Mid-Autumn Festival!” We make a wish to each other. At night,the moon is usually round and bright. It looks like a ball. We can enjoy the moon. Moon cakes are the special food for this festival. We can eat moon cakes,too. In the Mid-Autumn Festival,my parents and I are all very happy and excited.

中秋节是一个非常重要的中国节日。它是在八月五日。我们可以在家里挂灯笼。晚上，我们有一个很大的晚餐。看，桌子上有很多食物。他们是鸡肉，鱼，蟹等等。它们非常好吃。我们可以喝一杯果汁。

我们站在桌子旁边说：“干杯，欢呼，中秋节快乐!”我们每个人都希望在晚上，月亮通常是圆的，明亮的。它看起来像一个球。我们可以享受月亮。月饼是这个节日的特殊食物。我们也可以吃月饼。在中秋节，我的父母和我都很开心和兴奋。

大熊猫的祖先是食肉动物，现在却偏爱吃素，主要以吃箭竹为生。一只成年的大熊猫每天要吃20公斤左右的鲜竹。大熊猫性情孤僻，喜欢独居，昼伏夜出，没有固定的居住地点，它会随季节的变化而搬家。

每年的四五月份是大熊猫的繁殖季节，雄雌大熊猫难得同居在一起。雌性大熊猫怀孕4-5个月左右，就急着寻找树洞或石穴作为“产房”，它每胎产1-2只小熊猫。

大熊猫的家族非常古老。大约在一百万年前，他们遍布我国的陕西，山西和北京等地区，在云南，四川，浙江，福建，台湾等省也有他们的踪迹，现在留下来的数量很少，成为科学家研究生物进化的珍贵的“活化石”。

大熊猫应该叫“大猫熊“。因为，大熊猫不是像猫的熊，而是像熊的猫，大熊猫是猫科动物。

大熊猫不但被世界野生动物协会选为会标，而且还常常担负“和平大使”的任务，带着中国人民的友谊，远渡重洋，到国外攀亲结友，深受各国人民的欢迎。我爱大熊猫!
