纵观全书，字里行间流淌的全是浓浓的爱意。所有人世间的真情都在这里一一的展现，这也成为了全书最大的看点。

路遥在后记中写道“希望将自己的心灵与人世间无数的心灵沟通。”我想他做到了。

翻开这张发黄的纸，只能依稀看清几个苍劲有力的字：西线无战事。我仿佛在一瞬间穿越了时空，来到了战争年代，那个兵荒马乱的年代。

主人公博伊默尔是一个高中生，怀着一颗爱国心的他和朋友们放弃了学业，奔赴战场。在西线这片罪恶的土地上，“我”再也无法找到校长所说的光荣和自豪。相反，“我”反而天天被恐惧和死亡压迫着，不得翻身。

当阵地失守的噩耗传来，敌方的炮火更是肆无忌带地狂轰滥炸，丝毫不停歇。“我”分明看见了死神在战场上加快了穿梭的脚步。弥漫着硝烟的战场上随处可见被炸得面目全非的士兵，悲凉凄惨的喊叫声不绝于耳。整个战场被黑色的烟云笼罩，只有远处的村庄传来几声德国兵狂妄的笑声。

一百多年前的第一次世界大战，演绎了一场血与刀光的悲剧，1000多万条鲜活的生命就这样无声无息地消失在炮火的吼叫下。1000万呀，多么惊人的数字，这个在我们现在想都不敢想的数字在一百多年前的战争中只用几枚炸弹就可以杀个精光。

回想俄罗斯保卫战，多少战士丧生在战场上，又有多少青年在一声声“魔鬼的吼叫中倒下。他们原本属于他们的幸福美满的生活被打破，被刺刀与罪恶的子弹打破。多少人民妻离子散，家破人亡。硝烟笼罩的大地上，随处可见居无定所的人民。

南京大屠杀就是一个很好的例子。

1937年12月13日这个中华民族的恶梦。日军大举进犯当时的首都南京城，杀伤抢掠，无恶不作。这群丧尽天良的匪徒把杀人当作游戏，把放火当作一种娱乐。把南京这片原本欢声笑语的城市变为了一座切切实实的“空城”。魔鬼般怒吼着的大炮吞噬这34万条生命。机枪的怒吼已经化为了一道永久无法弥补的伤痕，刻在了每个人的心中。

虽然现在我们中国已没有了战争，但是在别的国度，战争还在继续。伊拉克每天就有上万条生命被葬送，无辜的老百姓整天过着提心吊胆的生活。而美国只要一颗炸弹，就能让伊拉克炭涂生灵。但美国只发射了一颗导弹么?没有。他们全然不顾伊拉克的人民的苦楚，凶狠地打破了他们对未来的憧憬，对美好生活的憧憬。

战争是可怕的，它在我们的心理和生理上打下永远也无法弥补的创伤。所以，我们应该阻止战争，呵护“和平之花”。

要知道，世界需要和平!!
