Here is a difference between science and technology.Science is a method of

answering theoretical questions; technology is a method of solving practical

aircraft-flying overhead; we do not have the option of refusing to breathe

polluted air. Unlike science, progress in technology must be our slave and not

the reverse. The legitimate purpose of technology is to serve peopie--people in

general, not merely some people; and future generations, not merely those who

presently wish to gain advantage for themselves.

We are all familiar with the abuses of technology. Many people blame

technology itself for widespread pollution, resource depletion and even social

decay in general--so much so that the promise of technology is obscured. That

promise is a cleaner and healthier world. If wise applications of science and

technology do not lead to a better world, what else will?

As is known to us all, teachers play an important role in our process of

growing up. As far as I am concerned, an ideal teacher should be responsible,

impartial and wise.

First of all, a qualified teacher should be responsible. For one thing, he

should try his best to make his class interesting and try to understand what his

students need. For another, he needs to keep enthusiastic with his job of spread

knowledge all the time and act as an example for others everywhere he goes

to.

Second, be impartial is another requirement. As a teacher, he should not

divide students into good ones and bad ones since each student has unique

characteristic and value. Therefore, no matter what kind of students he

encounters, he should treat them impartially, without any bias.

Finally, my ideal teacher is one who does not only teach students his

specialized knowledge but also can give students some guidance about life and

about how to act as human beings. This guidance has a great effect on students’

outlook on life and sense of worth.

To sum up, an ideal teacher should not only pay attention to the

achievements his students get, but also put emphasis on developing students’

correct views on life and sense of worth.

今天，我和爸爸妈妈去八达岭长城，我非常高兴。

一到长城，哇!这里空气真新鲜!开始爬着还不陡，可是爬一会儿就会有一段非常陡的路，并且城墙的一边有好多洞，我还在洞边装着往外打枪，城墙的另一边有排水沟。每一个“险关”，我都跑得最快，最后我最先爬上最高的烽火台。

一个小时过去了，我们开始往山下走。我和爸爸差点儿“出溜”一下滑下去。走着走着，看见底下有一个隧道，我们就钻了进去，可是这个隧道的台阶有三十多厘米高，并且差不多是直上直下的，我们爬了好长时间才到隧道底部，走出隧道一看，前面有一门大炮，妈妈还给我和大炮照了一张相。

有一句话叫“不到长城非好汉!”我已经登上了八达岭长城，我就是好汉了!

On Saturday morning I always have English classes at school. I study hard in the classroom. In the afternoon I often play computer games. On Sunday morning I often draw pictures. So I love weekends.

说干就干，我先跟爸爸妈妈宣布，以后我们家洗衣服后剩下的水全部用来冲马桶，洗菜后的水干净的可以用来洗碗，脏的也跟着进马桶吧!另外，我以前在网上看到过一则消息，说：用淘米水洗过的碗比用自来水洗的更干净，而且还可以减少洗洁精的用量。这不是一个节水又环保的金点子吗?一来节约了水，二来又少用了一些洗洁精(听说长期用洗洁精对人体有很多的危害，而且洗洁精会污染许多的水资源)，一瓶洗洁精可以用更长时间了，三、因为洗洁精用的少了，我家买洗洁精的钱又节省下来了，这是一举三得的事呀!从此以后，我一有时间就上网找节水的点子，在网络的帮助下，我家的水费一元一元的节省下来。节水即能为我家节约财政支出，又为国家节约了水的资源的浪费。

下雨天

Its raining again today。And its raining hard。It was dark from morning

她是一个小胖子，整个身子上全是肉，小脸也是圆圆的。她是我妈妈同事的女儿，今年六岁了。与我住一个房间。她的嘴巴可馋了，___妈不让她吃零食，因为她太能吃了，所以吃成了个小胖子。___妈要她节食，于是她趁我背书时，把我的零食包包打开，自己在里面找吃的。我开始没注意她，也没注意她翻了我的包。结果我发现她正在吃的零食好像是我带来的，才发现她在偷吃。真是郁闷死我了，让她不要吃太多，不然___会骂你，可她不听，还在吃。还说我的零食好吃，她很喜欢。

啊啊啊，我真想大叫几声，难怪不让你吃，照你这样吃法，不胖才怪。而且她还是个狡猾的小孩子，如果她吃了她家带的零食，___妈一定能发现她偷吃了，可她吃我的零食，只要我不说，___妈一定不会知道她偷吃。我看着我的零食快要见底了，忍无可忍上前，把我的零食包拿了回来。看着里面我喜欢的零食就剩下一些了，我真要泪流满面了。只因为我比她大，她是个小孩子嘛，我又不能凶她。我的心好痛啊，我的零食啊。

带着希望与渴望，我的暑假征程拉开了序幕。一开始，对自己期望很高，一般的活不想干，就是因为这个原因，所以我白白花了一个星期的时间，也毫无收获。后来，经人介绍我去酒吧打工。

第二天，我便开始了我的暑期社会实践生活。酒吧一般营业到凌晨4至5点，考虑到我是个孩子，所以我每天傍晚8点下班。

酒吧的工作很重很累，早上11点上班，第一件事就是要打扫前一天晚上酒客们的“杰作”。我围上了围裙，戴上了手套，拿着抹布，拖把大张旗鼓地就上阵了。哪知，一打开门，一股恶臭扑鼻而来。OH！MYGOD！！还真是“杰作”啊！地上洒了一地的啤酒，还有烟头，卫生纸，桌上的啤酒瓶多的数不过来！为了节省时间，我把垃圾扫进了不显眼的沙发下面，又把大垃圾筒拿进来，把桌上的所有东西统统丢进去，再撒了一些香水在沙发上，大功告成！领班的姐姐来检查了，我得意洋洋地看着她，哪知，她一蹲下，把我藏在沙发下的垃圾扫了出来，我低下头，她默默地走出去，她又看见了门口丢的啤酒瓶，生气地说：“重新打扫，再把啤酒瓶都捡起来，那是可以卖钱的！”我委屈地看着她，可是姐姐连头也不回地下去了。顿时，我的眼泪就像撒了串的珍珠，不住地流下来。碎酒瓶把我的手也划破了。听着姐姐们在下面聊天，我十分的气恼。可是我不能认输。我一定要坚持！我又重新打扫了一遍，姐姐再次上来的时候，我看见了她的笑容！我过关了！

就这样，我的打工生活步入正轨。一天又一天过去了，我尝到了打工的不容易。以前经常熬夜熬到2，3点的我，现在每天晚上一回到家，倒床就呼呼大睡！我实在是太累了！

打工生活使我的暑假过得十分充实，也前所未有的快乐。更得到了很大的启示——只有现在好好学习，长大以后才不会这么辛苦！

刚放假不久， 熊猫旅行团就又要出发了。这一次我们要去的是美丽的武夷山!

我们在虹桥机场登上了去武夷山的飞机，大约一个小时后，我们就到达了目的地。我们住的地方在兰汤村，我们搭车到村子的时候已经要晚上十一点了。一到“宾馆”门口，我和我的好朋友都非常吃惊，原来我们住的地方是一个几乎全部用原木做的客栈，我们几个的床都在房间的小阁楼上。我们几个都爬上去，很快地入睡了。

第二天早晨醒来，拉开窗帘就看见雄伟的大王峰。我们吃好早饭后，出发去虎啸岩。一会儿，我们到达了虎啸岩山脚下。我们抬头一看，虎啸岩还蛮高的呢!不过一开始我们一口气爬到了半山，大部分女队员都退缩了，走小道去休息站了，但我们男同志都上去了，从上面看来很高很害怕呢，但爬到山顶，风景觉得特别美!下午，我们去一线天看白蝙蝠。在门口有一个告示板，上面写着肥胖、心脏病者请勿进入，因最窄处仅40厘米。但我还是进去了，虽然我很胖但我还小啊!进到里面一开始觉得很窄，但到后面的时候，好窄啊，我要身体转45度角才能过去呢!但，最倒霉的事还不是这个，而是我受到了白蝙蝠的便便攻击，但导游说受到便便攻击会有福气呢。

第三天，我们一早吃好早饭，就出发前往天游峰，虽然只爬到半山，但风景也很好。下山时还抓到一只壁虎，还带着它喝茶呢!当然，最后还是放生了。晚上，我们去看印象大红袍，那个观众席很好玩，可以360度旋转，使整台戏更有趣!

最后一天，我们本来要去九曲溪，但没买到票。但还是有收获的，我去看瀑布啦，但只有一点可以上去，我肯定要上啦!接着，我们去吃了一顿丰盛的农家乐晚饭，然后我们带着美好的心情回上海啦!

经过课本的推广，我忍不住到书店买了这样一本搞笑的书——《绿山墙的安妮》。看到书的封面，是一个红头发、绿眼睛的小姑娘，我不禁想：她就是安妮吧?在她身上有着怎样搞笑的故事呢?带着一连串的疑惑，我迫不及待地翻开了这本书。 After the promotion of the textbook, I couldnt help but buy such a funny book in the bookstore- "Annie of the Green Hill Wall".Seeing the cover of the book is a little girl with red hair and green eyes. Everybody knows that our life is very short, so the great educators always

advocate us to do what we like and pursue for our goals bravely. Most people

have many ideas in their minds and they dare not to take action, because

thinking of the effort they make but what if they accomplish nothing, so they

decide to give up and just live the boring life. It reminds me of the famous

words, some people just die at age of 20 but only to be buried at the age of 70.

As we are young and full of energy, it is a good time for us to fight for our

记得我们曾充满童心的玩着真心话大冒险，可每当遇到那些难以启齿的问题和无法完成的挑战，我们都会厚着脸皮满足其他的同学，即使你耍赖，他们也笑着pass。

记得我们上课时遇到不严肃的老师总是开一些无关痛痒的玩笑：喂!你鞋带散了，哈哈，骗你的。可若是老师一句话不说，生气的在哪儿站着，教室很快就安静下来了。

记得初来22的场景——陌生、不愉快、纷争。可是如今，这些似乎已经失去了意义。现在，只有我们下课时的嬉笑。

困了一起趴在桌上睡觉、饿了一起吃零食、遇到不开心的事我们一起纠结、夏天一起喊热一起埋怨学校。等到了以后，当你们看着一些相似的稚嫩面孔时，你们会不会想起曾经一起疯过的我们。多年以后、听着某首歌、你会不会想起一起闹过的我们。

没有比现在更单纯的生活，没有比同学更纯真的微笑，没有比学校的日子更值得回忆。

今日晚上我，鸣鸣和妈妈___一起去广场游玩。

广场上好不热闹，有专门为妈妈们准备的健身舞;有较量耐力的垂钓游戏;还有速度比拼得打老鼠游戏___

最风趣的要数摇骰子了。规则是摇到什么数字就会有什么奖品保证你不吃亏，一元一次让你摇了还想摇。摇骰子的人可多了挤多挤不进去。我和鸣鸣好不容易挤到了人群里面，我和鸣鸣摇了一次又一次，可每次都是摇到一点小玩意。终于老天开眼了，让咱们摇了个23，得到了一只小狗。我的命运也不错摇到了一只小老鼠!

咱们还玩了投球，这回我可检大便宜了。咱们买了五个球投进来四个球将了一百元以十换百真是把摇骰子的钱都赚回来了。咱们又去吃了冰饮真是爽极了。

咱们吃完后，恋恋不舍的回家了!

寒假期间，发生了一件有趣的事，至今想起来仍令人啼笑皆非。

临近过年的一天，奶奶带我去姑姑的粮油干菜超市帮忙。我们刚进店门，就看见店里面挤了好些人在买东西，我一见立马就上前帮忙，姑姑见我来了，连忙把我拉到一旁，对我嘱咐道：“妞啊，帮姑姑招呼好客人啊，细心点。”我似懂非懂地点了点头。

说完，我就跑去帮忙了，做起了小小售货员。由于临近年关，姑姑的店里也搞起了优惠促销活动，凡是一次性消费满两百元的都有礼物相赠，在我的推销下，许多客人都买了超过两百元的东西。一时，店面里准备的礼物——大褂不够了，姑姑就让我去楼上的屋里去拿，我只听姑姑对我吆喝一声：“妞，去把楼上的蓝色大罐拿下来!”听到姑姑的吩咐，我立马就上楼去找拿“蓝大罐”了。

我急急忙忙跑上楼，找遍了整个屋子，也没见到姑姑所说的蓝大罐，就在我着急的时候，突然发现屋里有个放鸡蛋的盆子，正好是蓝色的，我想，这就是那所谓的蓝大罐了吧。于是，我上前去搬了，可谁知道，那盆子竟然那么沉，我使足了劲儿，也搬不动。没办法，我只好跑下去说：“奶奶，姑姑，我搬不动啊!”“一件衣服怎么会拿不动啊?”奶奶不明白了，姑姑说：“搬不动就算了，送客人一个盆子吧。”

中午的时候，奶奶上去做饭，才刚进门，就问我：“妞，你把鸡蛋盆放在地上了?”“你们不是让我拿蓝色大罐的吗?我搬不动就放地上了。”我回答道。

奶奶顿时哈哈大笑，说：“妞啊，你听错了，不是大罐，是大褂啊!”原来如此，听错了一个字，竟然闹出了这么大的笑话。姑姑知道了以后，也忍不住笑了起来。

我们到鱼库那儿后，我望见水清澈见底，能够映出游人的倒影。人们的倒影随着水面一齐一伏，很有意思。水这么清澈，肯定有鱼。爸爸先摆好鱼具和吃的东西……然后，把鱼饵穿在鱼钩上，再把鱼竿甩在水里，耐心地等待鱼儿上钩。我心想：鱼儿，鱼儿快来上钩吧，我还等着吃你鲜美的鱼肉呢!过了一会儿，一条足足有二斤重的大鲢鱼上钩了。爸爸猛的一拉竿，阿，钓上来了!我笑了起来，一蹦三尺高。我也学着爸爸的样貌，把鱼饵穿在鱼钩上，然后把鱼竿甩到水里，等待着。我刚刚等了10分钟，就抓耳挠腮，不耐烦了，于是，我拉了一下钩，一看，没有鱼，很扫兴。爸爸微笑着对我说：“钓鱼要有耐心。鱼如果上钩了，竿就会下沉，看到这种状况再拉竿，否则白费力气的。”我听了，把鱼竿又甩了出去，目不转睛地盯着鱼竿，过了20分钟，我果然发现鱼竿有变化——下沉了。我赶紧拉，结果鱼竿被拉得很弯，像钩子。一条肥胖的大草鱼被我钓上来了，我顿时眉飞色舞，仿佛就

吃到似的。我和爸爸从上午8：00一向钓到晚上7：00才回家。虽然时间挺晚，但是收获不小——一共钓了12条鱼，而且个个肥大。我和爸爸看着自己的“杰作”，开心地笑了。

这一天，我不仅仅玩得很好，而且学到了知识。我一想起暑假里的这件事，就会笑起来，觉得很搞笑。
