我们躲在围墙后面，探出了半个脑袋，等待着猎物。终于，一位老爷爷骑着一辆电瓶车，慢悠悠的，正朝着我们布置的“雷区”方向来了。嘿，机会到了!不知道是谁伸出了一只魔爪，猛然推了我一把，我顿时意识到被他们“背叛”了。没办法，我只好硬着头皮，“滋”的一声刮燃了刮炮，闭上眼睛扔了出去。只听“啪”的一声响，刮炮爆炸了，同时，老爷爷吓倒在地，而我的两个小伙伴们一溜烟跑了，只剩下了呆若木鸡的我愣在那里。

几分钟过去了，老爷爷还躺在地上，发出了痛苦的呻吟。我刚要转过身来，想溜之大吉。老师的一句教诲出现在我的脑海里：尽管责任使人厌烦，但不履行，就变成一个懦夫，变成不折不扣废物。我心里纠结着：去扶还是不去呢?去肯定会遭到劈头盖脸的痛骂，不去呢，从此就会落得“懦夫”之称呼。一想到一向正义的我，可能因此变成了遭人唾弃的小人，毅然决定上前将老爷爷扶起来。谁知，我刚走上前，老爷爷安慰我说：“知道为自己犯的错负责，还是个好孩子，但以后不能再犯同样的错了。”我点点头，将老爷爷的话牢记在心里。

从那以后我明白了责任的重要。而退缩与面对就在一瞬间，选择了谁，自己决定。
