There is a big skating ground near our school. In winter, I often go skating there, and I enjoy the sport very much.

At first, I only went there to watch others skating. Some with good skills could skate wonderfully. I admired them from the bottom of my heart. But I couldn’t do it myself. I was only an onlooker. How I longed to skate myself!

I began to make up my mind to learn it. But as soon as I stepped on the ice, I stumbled over myself. At once, some people caught me, and I turned red over their laughter. Happiness is dependent upon work. Sometimes we complain that we have too much work, but we fail to realize that it’s our work that keep us moving on and helps us to become a better man. Last summer I visited my friends in a small village. It was obvious that working has become an indispensable part of their daily lives. They all went to the field to plant the crops. The sun was shinning above them and they looked quite happiness about their work. On their face there were such smiles as I had never seen before.

I’m very glad to tell you about my winter holiday .It will be both relaxing and meanful . Let me tell you in detail.

my secret worry

while fear of death is universal, my worry about death is so overwhelming that there is not a moment passing without my thinking of it. i never bring this up with any other, just because no one will ever realize the seriousness of this problem. i know it very clearly that as long as there is life, there will be death. in addition, though i am still so far away from death, i have been plagued by the thought of it for years. fortunately, the root of my fear of death lies in my overzealous love for life. i am too timid to think of the end of life, when every worldly affair should be thrown away. how can i carry on without friendship, affection, and joy of being alive? i really hate to leave all these behind. to ease my worry about death, i should make the fullest use of this life i now possess. concentration on this life can at least temporally make me forget about death. as a matter of fact, i really don＇t need to worry so much about death, for i already have too much to worry about this life.

迪金森把人生比喻成篱笆内外。事实上篱笆上面缀满荆棘，当我们通过时，往往遍体鳞伤，身心俱损。唯有风在篱笆外千萦百折，不屈地呼啸而过，在空气中留下一道道不屈的痕迹。趋行在人生旅途上，我们在坎坷中奔跑，在挫折中涅盘。忧愁缠满全身，痛苦飘洒一地。我们苦，却不可以停留;我们累，却不能回首。烈日高温来过，狂风暴雨来过，我们都无所畏惧。可是之后还有一片漆黑的荆棘林，唯有风可以越过。卢梭说：“我可以听到河水的喧声。”那失去名字的远古的风，飒飒的越过那河流，向人们展示着它那坚强的意志。苏轼看到了风，那个曾经辉煌的文人因乌台诗案开始落迫，流落四方。

原本他还做着自己那神鹤翩跹的梦，但不曾想，也会一朝落难。于是在一个深沉的夜晚，在无人的赤壁，他看到了“江上之清风，山间之明月”。同时，他感受到天地间从远古到现在的一股不屈的意志。于是他看到了风，看到了那在山谷间盘旋，在山峰上呼啸而过的风，心中的垒块顿时冰释。于是，他开始离开世俗，寄情山水，真可谓陶公的“采菊东篱下，悠然见南山”。在金色的向日葵中，还有一个人看到了风，他就是用画向世人表达了充满活力的金色向日葵的伟大画家凡高。在凡高被世人所抛弃时，他四处流离。当他经过一片向日葵地时，一阵清风徐来，他惊讶了。他惊讶于世上居然有如此美丽、如此有活力的花。于是，他开始充满信心地画。

当他忍受了孤独、世人白眼及排斥时，拿出自己的画，可是却无人问津。这是对一个艺术家来说无疑是致命的打击，于是他选择在自己热爱的向日葵地开枪自杀了。他不知道的是，他死后不久，他的《向日葵》就被拍上天价。可惜只有他留在画中的意志才能看到，而他却无法感受了。

风，可以越过荆棘。不要随便的放弃生活，我们应学习风，不惧任何坎坷、挫折。相信自己的明天会更好。唯有风，可以越过荆棘。生活如风。
