家乡的冬天是生机勃勃的。青山上，重岩叠嶂中生长的“冰霜正惨凄，终岁常端正”的松柏，不少土瓦房错落的卧在山坡上，金黄的阳光洒在屋顶上，像一层薄纱迷蒙的笼着;洒在山涧的小溪上，像披着镀金纱衣翩翩起舞的窈窕舞女;倘若洒在小树上，瞧，看样子小树很是满意这件温暖的衣裳呢!若是风心血来潮的伴起奏来，小树就要舒展它婀娜多姿的身躯，与窈窕的舞女一较高下呢!

山中倘若薄雾升起，又是另一番景象。雾还顽皮的很呢，它总是猝不及防蹿出山崖，山顶的石头总是要乘着这雾，蹦出个齐天大圣来。雾也是多情的，月色褪净，它总是在第一缕阳光射穿它的白纱时，挑逗着娇小的花儿，和叶上的露珠依依不舍，来场郎死妾心伤的琼瑶剧。雾更是一个酷酷的魔术师，帷幕一拉，它戴着手套的手一挥，雾气又蔓延而上，没过土壤，没过草地，没过松柏，嚣张的超过亭亭玉立的竹子，最后高傲的说：嘿，这山上我老大。

村落里，冬天亦是美丽的，古朴的高轩上萦绕着欢声笑语。它不会下一场鹅毛般的大雪，留下一片绵延不绝如缕的惊艳。在村里住了多年，我猜测，雪大抵是个温柔而且细腻的女子，而且她钟爱碎花，多年了，下的雪无一不是温柔的小雪，点缀着小路边，小树上，房梁上，像极了一朵朵由最有名的工匠，雕刻出的精致的白花。倘若有幸，一日雪都是纷纷扬扬的下着，或赶巧是傍晚。就能看到更美的一番景色。傍晚的时候，那点儿小雪忽然就害了羞，脸颊上露出点粉的，就像女儿家见到仰慕已久的男子，挽着红袖捂着脸，好不娇羞，用雾的话说：“女儿家的心思，最可爱啦。”哎呀!和雾玩的多了，我咋说话都像他了。

晚上，小村是静谧的，依依杨柳后的黑瓦白砖里，飘着古巷中的小调儿，偶尔还能听到那曲哀凉的《藏花词》。点了灯，倘若雾听话，给我腾块地，那不得不说，小村的夜色极美。“无风水面琉璃滑”的湖面上，白玉柱在散落在上面，散发着淡淡的银光，若是还有“隐隐笙歌处处随”，也许我还能学着诗人吟出首诗呢!

生在这样美好的地方，也是极好的。

“它真好吃。”“它真漂亮呀！”“实在是太好了。”一阵欢乐的声音从我家里传了出来，原来是我正在家里过生日呢。

妈妈送给我一个非常精美的水果蛋糕，它上面最外面一圈是火龙果，围着里面一圈是让人垂涎欲滴的巧克力，像这样围着，一直围了6圈，中间剩下的地方用入口即化的奶油写了四个大字“生日快乐”。而外面全部都是奶油，有一大部分是白的，另外一部分就是红绿色的。奶油里面夹了一层火龙果，又夹了一层奶油还夹了一层布丁。

而吃完饭后，我们玩了个游戏，甜奶油，每个人的盘子里都放一些奶油，谁先舔完，谁就胜利了。游戏开始时，舌头就像高速运转的机器。而过了一会儿，舌头全都没劲了。最终，在我坚持不懈的努力下，我胜利了，但我的舌头一点儿劲都没了，都已经有点发麻了。其他玩的人也是精疲力尽了。

而这次生日的蛋糕，我觉得是我一生中最喜欢的礼物了，因为它给我带来了无穷无尽的欢乐。

当纷纷的大雪覆盖在我冰冷的心上，天边总是会出现那一轮耀眼的暖阳，使那皑皑白雪渐渐消融，让温暖涌上了我的心头。

“瞧这菊花!在百花开尽的季节竟能开的如此旺盛，在逆境中也生长得很茁壮。它并没有屈服于这恶劣的环境，而是让自己去适应环境，这样不也是很好吗?”你牵着我的那只手握得更紧了。“我想我们也该如此吧?”我低下了头，只是用另一只手抚摸那白色的花瓣。你笑了，“好好努力吧，我相信你，一定可以成功的。待到严冬时节，我便带你去赏梅。我想那时，你应该也可以像梅花一样‘凌寒独自开’了吧”我笑而不语，只是给了你一个深沉的拥抱。风虽冷冽，但我的心却十分温暖。

I am a December 2003 graduate from the University of San Francisco (USF) with a bachelors degree in International Business. As part of my career planning, I am very interested in supplementing my international business education with a basic knowledge of the Chinese language. This I hope will help me enter into business commerce with business organizations partnering with Chinas economic development.

I already have information from BLCU and hope to study there for at least one full year starting with this summers program continuing through the fall and spring semester 2006. Can your office advise me if such scholarships might be available to me?

I have been studying Chinese for one year now. I am not sure what level I belong to. I was told that there will be an HSK test in our university in September. I am planning to attend the test. But I dont know if the result of the test is recognized by your university. If so, can it be a help for me to apply for the scholarship?

terrible it is, they are damaging their bodies, their bodies will get older than

the normal speed. if people sleep early and wake up in the morning, do some

exercises and keep the balance diet, they will look young. so don’t expect the

surgery to help look young, it is harmful, only the healthy lifestyle does.

One day, when I woke up and took out my cellphone to read the news,

that their idol had passed away. It was such heartbroken, Michael Jackson was

the great music pioneer. People lost the great idol. Many popular singers are

affected by Michael’s music deeply, they imitate Michael’s dance. Michael’s

classic dance likes walking in the outer space, we can see many people imitate

him all the time. Michael is such a great idol, though he has gone, his still

influences people. He is an eternal idol.

Nothing is difficult if you put your heart into it. Nothing is easy if you

don’t try your best.

We often hear people say, “Never give up.” A person who believes in these

words will keep trying to pursue his goal no matter how many times he fails. In

my opinion, the quality of determination to succeed is an important one to have.

Therefore, I believe that we should never give up.

One reason is that if we give up easily, we will achieve nothing. It is not

unusual for us to fail in our first attempt at something new, so we should not

feel discouraged. Besides, if we always give up when fail happens, we will can

not develop new skills. Finally, we should never give up because as we work to

reach our goals, we develop confidence, and this confidence can help us succeed

poverty, Lincoln was faced with defeat throughout his life. He lost eight

elections, twice failed in business and suffered a nervous breakdown. He could

冬天，虽然不像春天那样到处藏着绿色的生命;不像夏天那样生灵尽显风姿，展示自己的潇洒：不像秋天那样果实累累，落叶不断;但冬天却有着那神秘的洁白梦幻。 Winter, although it is not like a green life hidden everywhere like spring; unlike the creature as the creatures in the summer, showing their chicness: unlike the fruit of autumn, the fruit is full of fruit,Falling leaves are constantly; but winter has the mysterious white and dreamy.

冬天，万物沉睡，连路旁的草木都在渐渐衰落中。难道不是吗?路边，只见一颗颗干巴巴的树枝，不再有行人在下面乘凉、嬉闹，也不再像以往那样枝繁叶茂，蝉儿齐鸣。公园里，花儿也不再拥有蓬勃的生机，一个个无力的垂下头，折断了美丽的腰肢，只有那“凌寒独自开”的雪梅正傲然挺立。

冬天的景色属于风。它起初像一缕轻烟，从地平线上升起，轻轻的拍打着雪的窗纸，想在有节奏的唱歌。它轻轻的摇曳着纤细的树枝，帮忙摘下最后一片树叶。

冬天的景色属于霜。清晨，玻璃窗上结满了霜花。他们形状各异千姿百态，勾画出一幅幅巧夺天工的图案。看，上面的是什么?是个种树木苍翠挺拔，地上开满了“野花”。不，唔，又觉得更像海底世界，一团团“海藻”在摇曳。

冬天的景色属于雪。朵朵雪花漫天飞舞，不一会儿整个世界变得银装素裹了。雪花挂满了树枝，光秃秃的树枝变成了银条。雪花飞进小河，河面蒙上了白纱，盖满雪花的小河就像是给大地妈妈盖到肩上一条围巾。雪花落到田野，给小麦盖上了厚厚的雪毯。让麦苗暖暖的过冬。“瑞雪兆丰年”明年一定是个丰收年。

冬天啊，你撒下满天瑞雪，裹着春天睡，可是到头来，你去情愿让冰清玉洁的肌体化作万里春水，无私的、慷慨的去浇灌，去滋润大地。在充满对新春的赞誉的时候，你却悄悄的消失了，被那些幼嫩、稚小的青苗吮吸、利用。你，孕育春而不发春，可谓是“留取丹心照汗青”啊!

我爱你，冬!

冬天的街，很冷。 Winter street, very cold.

犬吠声幽幽传来，和着雪，白雪。

天地间，被白色笼罩着。破败的巷子里，一个女人，呆呆伫立在雪中，着一袭黑衣。雪越发的白。

老家安徽，在冬天是一座被雪淹没的古城。春节被父亲拖着回家探亲。那是一件繁琐而无趣的工作，每天都得提早起床。一会到这个县，一会儿到那个镇。七大姑八大婆热情得有些过头，围过来，问我这，问我那，最后都会不约而同的咂咂嘴--“唉，城里小孩，就是不同。”

雪，漫天飞，很白。

碰巧我又晕车，所以极不愿意去拜访那些远房表亲。那天，是个下着大雪的日子。天刚亮，我就被我妈叫醒了。她说，“今天我们要去见二婶，二婶以前最疼你了，她……”妈妈在一旁叨叨着。我极不情愿的穿上那身土气的大红色衣服，因为妈妈说吉利。我慢吞吞上了车。

灰黑色的秃树枝叉子立在雪地上，显得格外刺眼。

车开到了一条窄巷门口，进不去了，我和妈妈只能步行。街，空荡荡的，偶尔有犬吠声传来，一个女人，穿一袭黑衣，在白雪中立着。她，就是二婶吧。“叫二婶好!”妈妈笑了起来。“哦，二婶好…”我一开口就吸进了冷气，呛得我说不出话。“到屋子里坐坐吧!”二婶热情地指着不远处的一幢房子，说道。

门，关不紧，一阵风进了屋里。

我缩在椅子上，看着书。二婶开口了，“孩子啊，我没准备红包，但给你留了几个大红柿子。你以前最爱吃了，常常爬到树上…”二婶自顾自的说着。看着二婶一脸的甜蜜，似乎在回忆着，心中的一根弦像是被拨动了。我默默地跟在二婶后面，拿柿子。后院积满了白雪。二婶到一堆白雪积成的雪堆中，不管不顾的，刨出了三个柿子，红灿灿的。

柿子易坏，二婶把它放在雪中，留给我吃。片段，回忆如潮，仿佛回到以前，原来，我曾经在这里生活过，快乐过。时间难道让我忘却了我本不该忘却的吗?

我不禁眼眶润润的，望着白雪中耀眼的红，出神。

柿子，红极了;雪，白极了。

就如二婶的心。

Before I went to school, I felt so excited, because I was so curious about

the campus life. Now I have been in middle school, after seven years’ study, I

feel the bitter and happiness. The bitter is that there are always exams,

sometimes I can’t do well. Every time when I get the low mark, I will be afraid

of disappointing my parents. The happy thing is that I make many friends here.

We play and study together. They are just like the brothers and sisters to me.

This is the process of growing up, which mix pain and happiness. I am so lucky

to have these friends in my life, they mean so much to me.

Today is Friday. It is my thirteenth birthday. I got up very early in the

morning and put on my new clothes happily. My parents bought me the new clothes

as my birthday presents. I went to school earlier than before.I invited many of

my classmates to come to my birthday party in the evening.

今天是星期五，这是我13岁生日。我早早就起床愉快地穿上我的新衣服。我的父母给我买了新衣服做为生日礼物。我比以住早去上学，我邀请了许多同学在晚上来我的生日聚会。

Evening came at last. Many of my classmate came to my home. they bought me

lots of beautiful presents. they all said,"Happy birthday to you!" We sang

birthday songs happily.then my parents brought out a big birthday cake, saying,

"We love you for ever. Happy birthday!"

傍晚过后。我的许多同学来到我家，他们给我买了很多漂亮的礼物，他们说：“祝你生日快乐!”我们唱生日歌，我的父母拿出了一个大生日蛋糕，他们说：“我们永远爱你。祝你生日快乐!”

At the end of the party, we ate the birthday cake and some other delicious

food. How happy I was!

在派对的最后，我们吃了生日蛋糕和其他一些美食，我是多么幸福啊!

一年有四个季节，我最喜欢冬天为什么呢？我给大家讲讲吧！冬天，下着鹅毛大雪，大雪给大地盖上了一层厚

厚的棉被，踩一踩发出“咯吱咯吱”的响声。大雪给树枝披上了一层厚厚的衣服。大雪给草坪戴上了又厚又白的帽子。

皑皑白雪正在下着，越下越大。我想：这真是堆雪人，打雪仗……的好机会。雪后，我就和妈妈去楼下堆雪人了。我先堆一座小山当雪人的身体，妈妈团了一个大小刚好合适的雪球当雪人的脑袋，我用了两个废纽扣当雪人的眼睛，又拿了一根胡萝卜当雪人的鼻子，妈妈捡了两根树枝当雪人的两只手。还缺什么呢？哦！嘴巴忘画了！我忙着把雪人的嘴画上了。妈妈找了一条围巾，围在了雪人的脖子上。这样，一个雪人就做好了！欣赏着自己的作品，我和妈妈乐得嘴都合不上了！

接着，我和妈妈玩起了打雪仗的游戏，三二一，开始！我团了一个大大的雪球刚要扔，妈妈的雪球就过来了，我只顾着躲闪了，我的雪球却掉在了背后。当我刚要去捡，妈妈的雪球正好打在了我的屁股上！哼！我也不是好惹的！我赶紧团了几个雪球扔过去，可是都没击中。这时妈妈飞过来一个雪球正好打在我脸上，雪球在我的脸上开了花……雪水流进脖子里凉凉的，但我和妈妈却笑的合不拢嘴儿。

冬天的雪是我们北方特有的美景，雪中的游戏让我的童年快乐无比！
