My sister sent a bag of present to me. The bag was big and round. I though it was a football. But when I opened it, I saw a clock. The other one was given by my brother. He left me a message, which said my present is lying in your bedroom. When I got to my bedroom, I found a laptop. Oh!Great! I jumped with joy. I know, they Want me to study hard and not to waste time.

I would never forget this birthday.

The summer vacation in my eyes is happy, happy, long, rich, and

interesting... Before the exam, we always look forward to the summer vacation,

homework, no... If the summer vacation is the sky, I am a little bird, swirling

如今我又走在漫天飞雪街道上，看到一位老爷爷一位小女孩手拉手走在街上，一起嬉戏打闹，多么温馨画面，让我忍不住驻足停留。当小女孩冷了，那位爷爷赶紧脱下身上外套披在她身上;当小女孩手冻红了，那位爷爷赶紧帮她搓揉取暖;当小女孩想爸妈了，那位爷爷就抚摸着她头，安慰着她。见状我也动情地仰着头，感受着爷爷带给我温暖，曾几何时，这也是我爷爷画面。这时，一阵寒风扑面而来，我竟不觉得冷，因为我知道，爷爷外套会保护我，会帮我抵挡严寒。

I Like Winter

There are four seasons in a year, spring means reborn, the trees become green and the flowers get boom. In the summer, the weather is hot while in the autumn, the weather is cool, the winter means cold. Among the four seasons, I like the winter best, though it is cold, I enjoy the weather. I don’t have to bear the hot weather, when I sleep, the warm makes me feel so comfortable, I have the good sleep. Every morning, I will wake up early and then do some exercise. I like running very much, so I will run around my house. I am at present a student at Mary High School, Hong Kong, where I have been studying for the past five years. I passed the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination last year with distinctions in English and History, and credits in Economics and English Literature. My advanced-level subjects are History, Economics and English Literature. In addition to these subjects, "Use of English" is also a compulsory subject because a pass in English is a minimum requirement for admission to most faculties of the University of Hong Kong.

风飕飕地吹着，寒风扑面吹来，打在脸上，就如刀刺一般，我艰难地走进家门，一头就倒在了沙发上，晕乎乎的睡了过去。

Environmental problems are as big as not for individual country or individual people to address. In other word, we have reached the stage that environmental problems be solved for international view. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In recent years, many nations have become more aware of the environmental issues each nation faces, such as air and water pollution. The question is, are the environmental issues a national problem or an international problem? It is my belief that the environmental issues have grown to the point of becoming an international problem needing international cooperation to resolve.

Because of the differences in environmental policies, resources and technology, international cooperation could provide quicker results and have a greater impact on bringing resolution to environmental problems for nations of differing environmental policies and of lesser resources and technology. By pooling international resources and technology to address the environmental problems, the disadvantaged nations are provided the assistance needed. Otherwise their environmental conditions deteriorate ultimately affecting the resources and environment of the world as a whole.

One of the difficulities to an international resolution to environmental issues is the difference in individual nations view and policies toward environmental protection. In order for international cooperation to occur and succeed, the nations of the world must submit themselved to international standards and supervision by an international commission elected by the participating nations of the world. All members must agree to abide by the standards established.

The environmental issues facing each country are not unrelated to the well being of the rest of the world. The impact is long term and international in scope. Without international cooperation and agreement to address such environmental issues as glacial melting at the South Pole, depletion of the ozone layer, water pollution, air polution, etc., the environmental conditions of the world will deteriorate to the detriment of every nation, not just those that ignore or lack the resources and technology to resolve their individual environmental problems.

As part of the same planet, it is the responsibility of each individual and nation to protect the global environment. Only international cooperation will provide the timely solutions and the effectiveness needed to stop the deteriorating global environment.

谈起朋友，谈起友情，每个人都有不同的贝解。

Everybody needs themotivationto move on, so no matter what kind of difficulties they meet, they can see the hope and stick to the targets. I have set up small targets for myself, so I can make progress step by step. For example, when I jog on the playground for 800 meters, I will finish every 100 meters as the small target, so I can finish my task easily. If I think about 800 meters at first, I will lose my motivation and give up quickly. Motivation is like the light in the dark, leading us to reach our destination. Find our aim and set up the small plans. We can make it anyway.

每个人都需要前进的动力，这样无论他们遇到什么样的困难，都可以看到希望，并坚持以达到目标。我为自己设立了小目标，这样就可以一步一步地取得进步。比如当我在操场上跑800米时，我会把每次的100米当做小目标，这样我就可以很轻易地完成我的任务。如果我一开始就想着800米，就会失去动力，迅速放弃。动力就像是黑暗中的光，引导着我们到达目的地。找到我们的目标和设立小的计划，就总能成功。

元旦放假了。这是新的一年的开始，我想自己来安排我的元旦假日。以前，所有的节假日都是由爸爸妈妈来安排的，我的大多数时间都是在上各类补习班，根本没有自由支配的时间。这一次，我一定要争取——我的元旦我做主!

其实，对怎样过一个有意义的元旦，我早就有想法了，只是，这个计划的实现还需要爸爸妈妈的帮助。因为爸爸妈妈都是律师，我经常看到一些犯罪的案例：子女不孝顺父母，把年迈的父母赶出家门;发生交通事故后肇事者逃跑;骑车的人跌进无盖的窨井，受伤后得不到赔偿;因一点小纠纷大打出手;盗窃、抢劫乃至杀人、放火……这一个个触目惊心的案例令我痛心，这些违法的人都是法盲呀!就是因为不懂法，他们才走上了犯罪的道路。如果我们从小就增强法律意识，遇事有清晰的明辨是非的能力，就不会去做违法的事，也不会走上犯罪的道路了。为此，我决定这个元旦约上几个好朋友，让爸爸妈妈给我们讲一些法律知识，我们还可以上街发一些关于法律方面的宣传资料，让所有的人都增强法治观念，减少犯罪。

我把自己的想法告诉了爸爸妈妈，立刻得到了他们的大力支持。爸爸妈妈不但给我们讲了许多法律知识，为了支持我的“工作”，还在街上支起了义务咨询台，爸爸妈妈在寒风中为群众解答法律知识，解决法律难题，而我和小伙伴们一边散发宣传资料，一边告诉别人我们刚学到的法律知识。遇到解决不了的问题，我们就把他们领到爸爸妈妈的法律咨询台前，让爸爸妈妈帮忙解决。

看着厚厚的宣传资料一点点减少，看着拿到资料的人认真学习的样子，看着难题得到解决的人们满意而归的样子，我们也高兴极了。回到学校，我一定要让同学们也一起学习一些法律知识，从小培养法治观念，增强法律意识。大家一起行动起来，与违法犯罪斗争到底。让我们的生活中不再有犯罪现象，让我们的生活更加安定、和谐，更加幸福、美好!——

我的元旦我做主，我的元旦过得真有意义!

The Dragon Boat Festival, also called Double FifthFestival, is celebrated

on May 5th on lunarcalendar.It is a folk festival widely spread with ahistory of

over 2,000 years, and is one of the mostimportant Chinese festivals as well.

There are variouscelebrating activities on that day, among which the customs of

eating rice dumplings anddragon boat racing are quite important.There are many

legends on the origin of the DragonBoat Festival.Some people think it is to

commemorate the poet Qu Yuan, while others say it isto be in honour of Wu Zi_u,

a famous general during the Warring States period. However, thelegend of Qu Yuan

spreads most widely. People appreciate highly the noble sentiment andprominent

talent of this patriotic poet and are very sympathetic with the ending that

hecommitted suicide by drowning himself in a river.

端午节(the Dragon Boat Festival)，又称重五节，于每年农历五月初五庆祝。

这是广泛流传2000多年的民间节日，也是中国最重要的节日之一。端午节当天举行各种庆祝活动，吃粽子和赛龙舟(dragon boat

racing)是其中的重要习俗。关于端午节的起源，有很多传说。一部分人认为端午节是为了纪念诗人屈原，另一部分人则认为是为了纪念战国时期的著名将领伍子胥。然而，屈原的传说流传最广。人们非常欣赏这位爱国诗人的高尚情操和出众才华，更对他投江自尽的结局深表同情。

我喜欢春天的温柔，夏天的火爆，秋天的浪漫，可我还是最喜欢漫天飞雪的寒冬。 I like the tenderness of spring, hot summer, and romance in autumn, but I still like the cold winter of the sky.

我喜欢冬天的安祥。冬天，为大地量身定做了一套雪白的貂皮大衣，为树姑娘们穷上了晶莹的白纱裙，为小草们盖上了洁白的羽绒被，静悄悄地守护着大地，到处都有他的士兵——雪花，保卫着冬的王国，小草安静的睡着，树姑娘们优雅地站在雪地里，仿佛是一位位美丽的公主，多么安祥的景象呀!

我喜欢冬天的漫天飞雪，小雪花们在空中飞舞，仿佛是在跳舞，优雅的舞姿打动了我们，站在雪地里，欣赏这美丽的景象，又仿佛是在与你捉迷藏，淘气地蹦到你的脸上，一转眼又消失不见，就这样反复了许多次，你仍抓不到它，它正在天空中得意地对你笑呢!又好像是在滑滑梯，一个接一个地从上面滑下来，乐得合不拢嘴，迫不急待地往下滑……

我喜欢冬天的多姿多彩，说起冬天就离不了滑雪，打雪仗，堆雪人，冰雕等等缤纷多彩的游戏项目了。雪地里，孩子们嬉戏打闹用雪球打来打去，衣服上、头发上、手套上，到处沾满了雪，他们也不在意，只是飞快地揉一个雪球，满脸激动，他扔过去，对方也毫不示弱，又一个雪球砸过来，砸在了脸上，非但没有生气，还开怀大笑。

堆雪人比起打雪仗来，算是一个“温柔”的游戏了，虽然没有打雪仗惊险好玩，可孩了们还是很开心，冰雕就更不用说了，各位“艺术家”通过精心制做，一个个奇形怪状，色彩各异的冰雕作品出现了，世界上还有什么游戏比得上它呢?

我喜欢冬天，喜欢它的安祥，喜欢它的漫天飞雪，多姿多彩，我爱冬天。

那天下着雨，很冷，我和妈妈没有带伞。然而车站离我们也很远，即便是坐了车也需要走很远的路。怎么办，我依在妈妈的怀里，瑟瑟发抖，妈妈也无能为力，她手上拎着很多要送给奶奶的礼物。

那淅淅沥沥的小雨砸在我的脸上生疼，我一边迈着沉重的步伐走着，一边抱怨老天的变化无常，出门时还阳光明媚，现在却乌云密布，老天真是捉弄人啊!突然，我发觉有人在盯着我和妈妈，我打了一个激灵，喷嚏也跟着出来了。这时那个盯着我和妈妈看的那个人朝着我们走了过来，十米......五米......三米......一米......更近了!

他走到了我和妈妈的面前，手里拿着一把雨伞，用他那不地道的淮北话对我妈妈说："大妹子，你看看，孩子都冻成这样了，你怎么不带把伞，这多冷啊!来这伞拿着，给孩子打着!”我妈妈充满歉意的笑了笑：“大哥，不好意思，我今天去走亲戚，钱都在半路时给老人买礼物花完了，现在没有钱了，不好意思，买不了你的.伞了。

”那个男人眉头一皱对妈妈说：“啥呀，不要钱，不要钱，就这一点小玩意没有多少钱，拿给孩子吧，别冻着了，必须拿着啊!”男人再三嘱咐着。妈妈十分感激并努力地将饱含泪光的双眼挤成微笑的表情，叫我一起道谢，由于害羞我吞吞吐吐地表达谢意后，我看见了男人脸上洋溢出来的欣慰的微笑......突然，我心中如同阳光四溢，好暖和......

在寒冷的冬日中，最让人舒服的其实莫过于用心来温暖，是我有幸可以体会到冬日的温暖。

My teachers and some elderlypeople often praise me. They always say that I must have a bright future,because I like study very much. I really like study. The knowledge from the book attracts me so much. Every time I search the knowledge there, I feel very satisfied,excited and powerful. I like exploiting all knowledge. I don’t need anyone topush me to study. I just like it.
