再说说咱们的沿河路公园吧。那里本来绿树成荫，鸟语花香。如今，老远就闻到一股怪味。走近一看，河面上漂着一些垃圾袋、方便碗，还有许多叫不出名字的垃圾，河水怎么不变臭啊!更让人无法想象的是，有人把河边栏杆上的铁链故意弄断了，那多危险!小孩走路还摇、要多留心点。

沿江公园也是散步的好地方，可是江坡边常有牛儿自由地在那里吃草，随地大小便，引来许多的苍蝇和臭虫，真恶心。大家走累了，想休息一会儿，可路边四条腿的石条凳变成三条腿，东倒西歪的，好点儿的凳上有垃圾，叫人怎么坐啊?

还有个不美的地方，就是一些校广告到处贴，连电线杆上，人行道上都用五颜六色的油漆刷出广告人的联系电话，看着就不顺眼。这些被人们称作“城市牛皮癣”的现象，谁来治一治啊!

到街上随便转一转，就看到太多不美的地方，这都是大家不自觉造成的。奥运会就要来临了，要是大家还不注意环境，就要被外国朋友取笑了。

环境保护靠大家，我们一定要从自己做起，人人动手来保护我们的家园。

Serious Floods

The Yangzte River is the longest river in China. And its important and helpful to us Chinese. But these days the Yangtze River is bringing us serious floods.

Many villages were destroyed by floods. The floods made hundreds of millions of people lose their homes, relatives and friends. Many children cant go to school as usual .Now the foods have drawn the attention of the whole world. People from abroad have offered their help too. In China, millions of soldiers are busy fighting against the floods. They are working very hard. Many of them have lost their lives in their attempt to save the villagers.

Though we cant help them to fight against floods, we should help them to rebuild their homeland. We can present them our pocketmoney and clothes. I believe most of the people will return to their homeland in the near future.

严重的水灾

许多村庄被洪水冲毁于。洪水使成千上万的人失去了家园，亲戚和朋友。许多孩子不能与平常——样去学校了。现在洪水引起了全球的注意。国外的人也给予了援助。在中国，上百万的战士忙于与洪水搏斗。他们努力工作，许多人在救村民时献出了自己的生命。

尽管我们不能帮助他们抗洪，但我们可以帮他们重建家园。我们可以捐出零花钱和衣服。我相信在不久的将来大多数人会回到家乡。

As time goes by, man is making the earth sick. People cut down too many trees and leave rubbish everywhere. Factories let out their waste without doing anything to it . This has caused some serious problems. Such as the land is sandy, the river is dirty, the air is less clean, even the temperature of the earth is rising. What should we do to save the earth ? My suggestion is that we should plant more trees, put rubbish into dusbins and stop factories (from)pouring waste directly into the air or rivers. The Importance of Trees

As we all know, trees are very useful. They are of great benefit to man as follows: First, trees provide us with wood and other products; Second, their roots can allow the rain to sink in and keep the soil, so they help to prevent droughts and floods. Trees can clean air and beautiful life.

Unfortunately, nowadays in many parts of the world lots of people fail to realize the importance of trees. They have cut trees down in large numbers without a plan,which makes the soil washed away. They dont know where there no trees, the rain washed away the surface of the soil and this causes floods.

树的重要性
